Description

Maison Country is a brand new facility located in one of the few remaining countryside areas in the city of Bologna, very close to the historic center. The geographical location of our facility is strategically convenient to all major communication routes. It is designed to have a very low energy impact, equipped with photovoltaic panels, double glazing, insulation, and charging for electric cars.

The building consists of a charming country house converted into a bed and breakfast, furnished with antique furniture that creates an intimate and refined atmosphere. All rooms have a private bathroom with a shower, courtesy set, hairdryer, TV, air conditioning, and independently adjustable heating.

The B&B has a large garden where guests can relax between visits to the numerous artistic and gastronomic beauties that our beautiful territory can offer. The owner will recommend, based on the length of your stay, which artistic beauties to visit, which museums to frequent, and what nearby places you can discover that are worth seeing even if they are not well known.

Free and unlimited Wi-Fi, free parking, and charging for your electric car are available to guests for a fee. We also provide a deposit for bicycles for cycling enthusiasts.

Hi, I'm Giovanna, after a long time I managed to open a bed and breakfast in a beautiful country house in the city of Bologna. My concept of good living ranges from good food but also from knowing how to surround yourself with beautiful things that relax. My passion is art and antiques. For a visit to the city I will give you a map and I will be able to advise you on what to see. The city of Bologna is full of hidden beauties that will excite you and the gastronomic delights will give you great satisfaction. I decided to do this job to get to know many people from all over the world in order to have that human contact and mutual exchange that makes us feel good. Neighborhood is served by bus, with the car along the ring road in a very short time you can reach various strategic points of the city. we are very convenient both on the ring road and on the motorway. Great hospitality, wonderful place immersed in greenery and tranquility, yet close to Bologna. The room was very nice, renovated and tastefully furnished. Presence of service towels, hairdryer, and shampoo sachets. Breakfast was very abundant buffet-style in the small characteristic kitchenette. Highly recommended, especially in good weather given the vast garden. The property also has internal parking with a gate.

We stayed for one night, the structure has been recently renovated and is very clean. Convenient access with an electronic keypad. The breakfast is simple, with almost all packaged products. I would improve the offering with something fresh and I recommend adding instant coffee to the drink selection.

The structure was recently renovated, extremely clean and well-kept, equipped with its own parking. Rooms furnished with refined taste, enhanced by antique furniture and high-quality tableware, carefully selected by Mrs. Giovanna and restored by skilled hands. It is surrounded by the countryside while being close to services, the Bologna ring road, and the city center, which can be reached quickly by public transport, with convenient parking for the car near the bus stop. Mrs. Giovanna has a perfect knowledge of the area and is always a source of valuable information for visiting it. The breakfast is excellent, with particular attention given to my wife who is lactose intolerant. Thank you for everything.

Stayed two nights! Spectacular location in tranquility! You can hear the trains and planes departing occasionally, but they didn't bother us at all! The structure has modern parts and is very well furnished with pieces from the past, comfortable and very clean! The self-service Italian breakfast is abundant! Mrs. Giovanna is very nice, a rich and inexhaustible source of information and advice of all kinds to visit the surroundings and the city of Bologna in the best way! We highly recommend it, too bad we couldn't stay longer!

We stayed for one night for a short city trip, the bed and breakfast is in a green oasis immersed in nature, yet close to the city, a strategic location to visit the city center and the Sanctuary of Madonna di San Luca. We had a car, so the private parking was very convenient; a short distance away, however, there is a bus stop available to use public transportation. The room was comfortable, the bed was cozy, and the bathroom cleanliness was impeccable. The Italian breakfast was to our liking, with delicious cakes and the availability of coffee in capsules.

We stayed one night. Wonderful and relaxing place in the greenery, but close to everything. Super clean room, very comfortable bed, all very refined. The bathroom is a gem, excellent breakfast. The lady is very friendly, nice and very attentive to give you explanations of all kinds. We have never found such an elegant, new place at a low price. Thank you for everything and we will definitely come back.

We stayed for 3 nights and we had a very good time. As the name suggests, it is a structure immersed in the Bolognese countryside, far from the traffic and chaos of the city but at the same time less than 5 minutes from the center of Bologna and the highway to reach neighboring destinations. We appreciated the tranquility when returning to the room. The room is new and upon our arrival it was welcoming and really clean. Weak points, however, are the lack of daily cleaning that should be there in a B&B (daily rearrangement) and the mattress is definitely hard. A service to improve is the Breakfast which is served in a nice dedicated room but in a self-service mode, so the small buffet is prepared the day before with only packaged products (few) but the problem is that if other people come down first and have a hearty breakfast, you are left (almost) dry because there is no one to replace and set up... coffee then unique and only to be prepared always by yourself, in short, a decidedly sub-par and differently managed breakfast for the well-being of all guests. An important service is the presence of an internal parking for your car. We recommend Maison Country for a short stay in Bologna.

We spent 2 days in a clean and welcoming facility. The breakfast was good. Mrs. Giovanna who welcomed us was kind and discreet. The location of the facility allowed us to reach the historic center of Bologna by car in a short time.

Recently renovated and very well maintained structure. Impeccable cleanliness and order. Mrs. Giovanna who manages it is very helpful and attentive to the guests' needs. I recommend it for those who want to visit the city if they have a car. To be honest, about a kilometer and a half from the structure there is the bus station from which buses depart for the city center, maybe it's more feasible in the nice season.

It is a nice little house in the countryside, but very close to the center of Bologna. Comfortable and clean room and bathroom. Only downside: it is close to the railway, but it didn't bother me much, I like to hear the noise of the trains.

I will be very brief: the elegance and cleanliness of this structure are impeccable. During past trips, I have never found a better welcome than this. Giovanna and her husband were extremely helpful in giving us advice on places to visit in Bologna. It saddened us to leave after spending only one night in this stunning place located in the Bolognese countryside. The attention to detail and the focus on all the needs that a guest requires make Maison Country unique and irreplaceable. We will definitely return.

Mrs. Giovanna and her husband were very hospitable. The property is located in the open countryside in a very quiet area but just a few minutes from Via Zanardi which takes you straight to the center of Bologna in 10 minutes by car. The property is equipped with a charging station for electric cars. Breakfast is abundant, with nougat and cookies prepared by Mrs. Giovanna. For those intolerant to milk and/or vegans, I would recommend providing almond milk or soy milk or lactose-free milk to complete the breakfast offer. Otherwise, everything was really GREAT. We will come back.

The Maison Country is a Bed and Breakfast immersed in nature, a stone's throw from Bologna and recently renovated. We really appreciated the cleanliness and attention to every detail. Giovanna, the host, was very kind. The only flaw is the soundproofing of the room, a bit lacking. It is necessary to move around by car. We would gladly return and will definitely recommend it.
