Description

The Locanda Dolcevita, a scattered hotel, offers five rooms with private bathrooms. The Anita, Giulietta, and Sofia rooms are the most modern, renovated in 2019, and located at 17 XX Settembre Street. While the Federico and Vittorio rooms are located at 68 De Amicis Street and have a more antique decor.

The inn is located in the heart of the medieval village of Dozza (BO), surrounded by the famous paintings of the Biennale del Muro Dipinto, which have turned Dozza into an open-air museum.

The property is just a few steps away from the wonderful Rocca Sforzesca with its adjacent museum, the Emilia Romagna Regional Wine Shop, and various points of interest within the walls, such as bars, newsstands, and restaurants.

The Locanda borders the Osteria di Dozza, a typical and characteristic establishment with a film-like atmosphere, where Romagna cuisine is served. Guests can take advantage of a 20% discount for lunches and dinners.

Breakfast is not included in the price, but our guests can enjoy a 20% discount at the Osteria's Café, a lovely bar located a stone's throw from the room entrance.

From Dozza, it is easy to reach wineries, nature trails suitable for cycling, educational farms, spas, and the Enzo and Dino Ferrari racetrack in Imola.

Check-in and check-out are done independently by guests, following the instructions sent via email two days before arrival.

Our room at Locanda Dolcevita was very charming, with antique furnishings and a small balcony overlooking the hills. High-quality bed and bath linen and very friendly staff. The private parking was highly appreciated. We would have appreciated a minibar in the room, but only because in Dozza in the July afternoon we didn't find any open place to get something cold to drink, however, with the parking lot, it's sufficient to move a few hundred meters to find something. Absolutely recommended!

Easy self access to Locanda Dolcevita in Dozza, clean, good communication, convenient parking. I would recommend it for anyone looking to stay in Dozza.

Breakfast was not included but declared available at the Inn Dolcevita's Bar. In the morning, at 7:30, the bar was closed. Upon my departure, at 8:15, it was still closed. Being an ancient village, no other bars were available. I skipped breakfast. Additionally, with no reception and the bar closed, I had to leave the keys at the window of the Osteria (same property) notifying by phone. It is not a B&B suitable for business travelers. If you are on vacation, then it's fine.

Cogliamo dunque l'occasione per informare i nostri ospiti che il Caffè dell'Osteria è aperto tutti i giorni infrasettimanali dalle ore 7.30 alle ore 13.30 e, nel weekend, dalle ore 7.30 fino alle 18.00.

Breakfast is not provided but the bar in front of the hotel offers a priceless service and kindness. The cleaning is impeccable and our room is spacious and cool, in short, it's worth all the price.

Pleasant room with a spectacular view of the surrounding countryside. Quiet, comfortable, in the center of Dozza. The cleanliness is not exceptional, but compensated by the utmost courtesy of the staff. During the booking, there were some issues with the check-in information, but everything was resolved without problems. We stayed overnight with our little dog without any difficulty or extra charge.

Great little place with three rooms in a small walled hill town. Four or five good restaurants in the city. Cool castle one can pay to tour, and walking around the town is nice to view the murals that have been painted on the walls over the last 50 years or so. Very hard to locate for us, as other than the address, this B&B is not marked. Took a bit of time to figure out that the owner runs the coffee shop across the street, and once we located him, things worked out fine. I would recommend it to a friend with the caution that it is hard to locate, and parking is a bit of a hassle.

Brand new, well-kept and well-equipped structure. The location is excellent, in the center of the village, right on the main street. The staff responds very quickly and is very courteous. The only area for possible improvement is the breakfast which, not being a buffet, is a bit limited, although it has good quality. Overall, however, a recommended structure.
