Description

"Le Sabbie" is located in Villa Santa Dorotea, one of the oldest villas in Riccione, just a few steps away from the beach and the thermal center of Riccione.

The building dates back to the late 1800s and was initially used as a summer residence for a religious order, then as a guesthouse for the nearby church of S. Giuseppe. Today, it opens its doors to those who want to spend their holidays in a unique and exclusive place, surrounded by the greenery of the private garden.

Completely renovated in 2018, the B&B consists of six rooms, all with private bathroom, independent air conditioning, Wi-Fi internet connection and free private parking inside the courtyard.

Ideal for a relaxing beach holiday, in the surroundings you can also find an excellent gastronomic attraction with the award-winning and quirky restaurant "Kiosquito 46" (winner of "4 ristoranti") or the more classic "La Siesta" with excellent fish and traditional Romagna dishes.

Villa S. Dorotea offers its guests a breakfast room in the veranda overlooking the private garden. Fresh and local products are preferred, and every day you can find fresh pastries, handmade biscuits, Romagna donut, crackers, freshly baked wholemeal and cereal bread, jams, and honey. For those who prefer a savory breakfast, upon request, our typical "spianata" from Romagna filled with hill cheeses and sliced meats, farm fresh eggs, and a wide selection of tea are available.

Riccione Abissinia is the "slow" neighborhood of Riccione, the most authentic one. It contrasts with the fashionable and glittering shops of Viale Ceccarini in the worldly Riccione. Abissinia allows the discerning tourist to discover the rhythms and warm welcome of authentic Romagna hospitality. Its distinctive feature is the numerous villas, some of them built in Liberty style in the early decades of the 1900s, which are a symbol of an elite tourism that is now almost completely lost.

We had a great time. We hope to return. The dinner suggestions at the various seaside restaurants were top-notch. Convenient even without a car. The bus stop is 2 minutes away. The area is served very well. Spacious and bright room. Thank you for the hospitality.
