The Bed and Breakfast "Le Fontanacce" is located in the Val di Lamola, currently known as the Ospitale valley, in the municipality of Fanano, in the Regional Park of the Upper Modenese Apennines of Frignano (altitude 936m), in front of the source of the mineral water "Monte Cimone".
It is a typical rustic mountain house made of stone, with three double rooms and the possibility of a 3rd and 4th bed. There is a spacious kitchen for breakfast, and weather permitting, guests can enjoy the garden with typical local products or homemade items.
It is a 10-minute drive from Fanano and a 20-minute drive from Sestola and the famous ski resorts. It is a starting point for winter and summer excursions, recommended for trekking enthusiasts and mountain biking lovers. It is ideal for those who want to immerse themselves in a past rich in history! In the valley, it is possible to retrace some stages of the historic and picturesque Via Romea, an ancient mule track that witnessed the passage of sovereigns, pilgrims, and travelers heading to Rome, whose journeys had a religious and spiritual meaning.
At the B&B, maps of the valley and informational materials on tourist itineraries for mountain biking and trekking are available.
