We are located in the beautiful and picturesque Piazzetta della Pioggia, right in the heart of the city, just 50 meters from via dell'indipendenza and 50 meters from the 'Bologna' garage, where parking costs between 24 and 30 euros per day (12-12). The garage will provide a free permit for the ZTL. Alternatively, you can park at Riva di Reno, which is situated 400 meters away from us, outside the ZTL, at a cost of 20 euros per day.

Stefano was nice and helped with everything. The apartment is located in downtown Bologna and all the sights, as well as the station, can be reached with just a short walk. However, the location also makes it quite noisy. Accommodation in Bologna, in general, is expensive. Unfortunately, the dishes were not clean and we had to wash them before we could use them. The bathroom should also be cleaned thoroughly before new guests arrive. Breakfast consists of a coffee and a croissant at the bakery around the corner, but preparing breakfast in the apartment is possible. Coffee and tea are available at all times.

Great location, a 5-minute walk from the centre, very convenient for getting around and also only a few minutes from the station. Breakfast at the pastry shop (with voucher) was excellent. It's a pity that the pastry shop managers are really not very hospitable or friendly. However, the breakfast is excellent. The room is nice, not very large, but the bed is very comfortable and the bathroom is new. Coffee machine (with capsules) available. A great stay. Well organized even for departure. We will definitely return.

Poor value for money. The three of us stayed in a dump. We could not open the window because it hit the bed. Bathroom without a bidet. No towels provided for the shower. We dried our bodies and hair with the face towel. Not to mention the breakfast at the bar, which only included cappuccino and a pastry. We do not drink milk so we asked for three fruit juices and had to pay €11 extra. Not everyone drinks milk so breakfast should have included at least one alternative drink without charging guests, given that it is a B&B. In addition, upon arrival the woman who cleaned the rooms, without even a minimum of hospitality, immediately asked us for the payment for the stay. I state that at the time of booking I had entered the credit card details for the subsequent charge at check-in. There was immediately an animated argument because the woman insisted that we had to give her the money. In the end the charge went through the credit card as per procedure. The managers handled the service very poorly. I strongly discourage it.

La sistemazione occupata era una camera tripla ottenuta da una doppia con letto aggiunto, come chiaramente indicato nella descrizione e nelle fotografie pubblicate su BB. it. Le dimensioni della stanza, la disposizione degli arredi e la dotazione del bagno (inclusa l’assenza del bidet) erano quindi note prima della prenotazione. Optimal stay in the heart of Bologna. I spent a night at B&B La Piazzetta della Pioggia and was pleasantly surprised. The property is really nice and welcoming, but the real highlight was the room: very cool despite the scorching heat of Bologna at this time. An incredible relief. Everything was spotless and well taken care of, and I must say that the mattress was among the most comfortable I have ever tried - I slept wonderfully. The location is ideal for exploring the city on foot, very close to the main points of interest but in a quiet area. Highly recommended for those looking for comfort, tranquility, and a perfect base to explore Bologna.

I did not book using this site, but the official site of the B&B: http://www.bbcentro.bo.it, where it is not mentioned that breakfast is not on-site, but that one must go out and go to a bar. For me and my wife, it is essential to have breakfast in peace and then get ready and go out. Here it was not possible, and I was not informed beforehand. Additionally, since we chose pistachio croissants, we had to add 0.30 cents per person. It's not so much about the expense, but about the way the customer is treated. The accommodation is conveniently located to reach the city center and the train station, but the staff is unprofessional. We had explicitly requested and booked a double room with twin beds (being two friends), and when we arrived, a man greeted us without a smile, and the room was not ready for 2 people nor with separate beds. The man calls his son and asks why this is the case and emphasizes that the room is maybe small because "the girls are big." How dare you?! The room was the size of an illegal storage room, not even 12 square meters, and the window could not be opened because the bed blocked it. When we asked for another room or a refund, we were told that we had paid little for what they could offer us and that we wouldn't even be given 1€. The night was terrible... an insane heat, no air conditioning. Fortunately, we only had to stay one night and tried to stay outside as much as possible. Oh, I almost forgot... breakfast is not on-site, but they give you a voucher for a café that includes cappuccino and a croissant... Never again.

The location of the B&B is perfect just a few minutes from the center but the cleanliness (hair in the shower) and the size of the bathroom are really tiny, without a bidet and with a mat to get out of the shower that I didn't know where to put except for stepping over the toilet, left us a bit perplexed. This, of course, regarding our room. The breakfast also seemed very small to us: a voucher at the bar for coffee or cappuccino with a croissant for a B&B at 180 euros.

Nice room, but the reception needs improvement. Overall, my experience was sufficient, but there were some issues that lead me to give 3 stars. The room was spacious and nice, with a window overlooking the Piazzetta della Pioggia, really picturesque and pleasant. The breakfast was also a nice touch: vouchers are provided for a very good external bar, with a wide selection and quality. Really appreciated! Unfortunately, however, the reception left much to be desired. Even though I had communicated the check-in time in advance, I waited about 40 minutes outside the door for someone to let me in. After ringing for about half an hour, only then did someone decide to respond to me, understandable if no one was in the structure, but even after the response I had to wait another 5-10 minutes. During all this time, there was no response on my cell phone, neither to calls nor to messages sent in the previous days. When I finally managed to enter, the managers apologized, saying they had made a mistake with the check-in time by an hour, but honestly, they didn’t seem particularly sorry about what happened. An update message or more attention would certainly have made a difference, especially considering that I was on a business trip and feared not having accommodation for the night. Moreover, even though it's not dramatic, the cleanliness can definitely be improved: it wasn't at the level I would expect from a structure with good potential. In conclusion: room and breakfast approved, but the reception and customer attention deserve more care.

Very central, 10 minutes walk from the station. Fair price, clean and quiet room. For 50 euros, you can't ask for more.

Everyone was very accommodating and the room was clean. Unfortunately, you had to walk 50 m to the café with the credit for cappuccino and croissant. However, it is very stylish.

Small and cramped room with the bed an inch from the ceiling and without a headboard. Clean bathroom but very narrow. The toilet too close to the wall making it difficult to sit. The sheets are wrinkled. The breakfast in the nice pastry shop is really meager. It’s just a coffee or cappuccino and a croissant. Very disappointing, I won't come back!

L’edifico dove è ubicato il B&B è storico quindi le camere sono particolari per questo pubblichiamo sempre le foto delle camere in modo che per l’utente sia chiaro quello che prenota. Tra l’altro la sua camera è tra le preferite perché appunto particolare. La colazione allo stesso modo è specificato che sia di cappuccio e brioche d’altronde per il prezzo pagato a notte di 70 euro a notte per camera con bagno privato mi sembra molto vantaggioso. Inoltre diamo a disposizione per gli ospiti caffè e the self service. I stayed twice at La Piazzetta della Pioggia. I always had a very good experience: the rooms are clean and welcoming and all have a very elegant bathroom in the room. The only comment I would like to make is about the quantity of breakfast: adding coffee would definitely be appreciated. I come to Bologna at least once a year and I hope to always find hospitality at La Piazzetta della Pioggia.

Central, well maintained, clean; renovated in a very pleasant way. Breakfast is at the bar below the bed: good, but a bit basic: croissant and cappuccino or tea or hot chocolate. Convenient garage just a few steps away.

Excellent location, allowing you to forget the car for the entire stay and visit Bologna on foot. The small apartment is spacious and comfortable, a true home available in the heart of the city. The kitchenware can be improved, but it is just a detail.
