Despite being in close proximity to the city center, our "Magnolia B&B" offers a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. Our historic building blends the past and present to provide maximum comfort for our guests.

Our guests can immerse themselves in the colors and lights of the city, enjoy the local cuisine with our gastronomic recommendations, attend cultural events and exhibitions, and take long walks on the hills to reach San Luca. For football enthusiasts, the Renato Dall'Ara Stadium in Bologna is just a few steps away.

Our property is the perfect place for families who love to travel and feel at home, for conferences and business trips, for a romantic and peaceful holiday, and for travelers who enjoy taking breaks and taking care of themselves. Our garden with a veranda for breakfast, surrounded by flowers and trees, including geraniums and magnolias, is the perfect place for those seeking peace and tranquility for a period of relaxation and rest.

We offer our guests a private bathroom in each room, free WiFi, heating, air conditioning, and paid parking (to be requested at the time of booking). Our services are attainable all year long.
We are glad to serve you in a warm and enthusiastic manner, in a quiet and well preserved 18th century detached house.
For your relax, you'd dispose of a broad garden, fulfilled of geraniums and magnolia trees. Tea tables and armchairs make it a wonderful place to have your breakfast or just to spend your spare time in the most peaceful way.

Our guests would appreciate their stay in a small architechtural treasure enclosed by blossoms and magnolia tree flowers.
Where time seems to take a break, our guests will appreciate the care of details and the great passion in service.

The residence is placed at just few minutes from the city centre, reacheable by bus or just on foot in ten minutes time.
Come and taste our kindness and courtesy.

Every room has been furnished of air conditioning as to increase your comfort also in the hottest days!

Availability of double or one bedded rooms, however well furnished, cosy and highly comfortable.

Our guests will appreciate a tasteful morning breakfast, available in every room.
The fares are relating to the daily use of the room and only for the overnight stay.
Rooms have a TV set, internet Wi-FI, a fridge, towels and bedclothes per guest.

The room is beautiful, very spacious and modern, the family in charge is very attentive and loving. The breakfast is delicious, with abundant, nutritious food, fruits, cheeses, cold cuts, coffee, pastries prepared by them, etc. The location is excellent, 15/20 minutes walking from the historic center and many buses with stops nearby that get you there in 5 minutes and to the central station in 20. I would definitely repeat and recommend it.

I stayed for work for a month in room D, and I was pleasantly surprised by the silence and tranquility that the structure offers despite being on the doorstep of the center of Bologna. The welcome from Franca and her daughter Sara makes you feel at home. Both have always been available for any doubts, or even for a friendly chat. Being probably the cheapest room in the B&B, unfortunately, breakfast is not included, but during the weekly cleanings, they will always provide some snacks and fruit juice. I thank Franca and Sara for the splendid hospitality and highly recommend this B&B for those seeking peace, or simply for those who wish to stay in a quiet and elegant place at the same time. We left La Magnolia with heavy hearts today. During our 9-day stay, Franca and her family became very dear to us. Franca is a wonderful host, always ready to meet the guests' wishes and available with advice and help. La Magnolia is conveniently located and, thanks to its secluded courtyard location, is absolutely quiet. The main train station is within a good half-hour's walk and offers opportunities for day trips, for example to Florence, Venice, Parma, Ravenna, Modena or Ferrara. Of course, one should also fully enjoy the beautiful Bologna. After just a 10-minute walk, you can already immerse yourself in the arcades of the old town. We parked the car in a traffic-calmed side street adjacent to La Magnolia during our stay. We had a very spacious 3-bed room, which with its own balcony (overlooking the beautiful garden with 100-year-old magnolias), shower room, air conditioning, comfortable beds, and even a kitchenette, left nothing to be desired in terms of comfort. Everything was very clean. We would recommend La Magnolia without hesitation.

It was a much more comfortable accommodation than I expected. The room was pretty clean and tidy, the apartment has a very cutie garden with a cutier doggie. Franca was so friendly and warm that I felt like I knew her before. I surely would prefer this property second time if I need to book somewhere in Bologna.

Very convenient structure to reach the stadium on foot and the city center by bus in a few minutes, set in a beautiful garden with very kind and welcoming owners. Very clean double room with mineral water, juices, and biscuits kindly offered! Honestly, the room is a bit small but the bed is comfortable, price is average (euro 140.00 with an additional tourist tax of euro 3.00 per person). Good breakfast, but I would have put more things, only two cakes (one of which was half) and the cookies for all the guests in the structure were few. However, the homemade cakes are good and everything is very tidy. I recommend it.

Ci tengo a spiegarle che abbiamo messo due torte per 8 persone poiché ci dispiace sprecare il cibo e farne di più significa buttare qualcosa ogni giorno. Ci tengo anche a dirle che la torta a metà era stata sfornata il pomeriggio precedente, proprio per questo motivo cerchiamo di fare sempre qualcosa che possa finire nell’arco dei due giorni. La scorsa mattina sono avanzate comunque qualche fetta di ciambella e qualche pezzo di crostata. Inoltre per colazione si trova anche la frutta, il pane, integrale e semplice, burro e marmellate di diversi tipi, yogurt, muesli e cornflakes. Mi spiace vi sia sembrato poco. In ultimo, la camera in cui avete soggiornato è per una persona, non per due. Quando avete telefonato vi abbiamo spiegato che era l’unica rimasta e che con un letto ad una piazza e mezzo sareste potute stare in due stringendovi, vi siamo venute incontro vista la problematica della disponibilità di strutture in zona causa il concerto. Il prezzo di € 140,00 era un prezzo modificato sulla base del concerto e del fatto che foste in due. La camera in cui avete soggiornato ha generalmente un costo di € 60,00 (sempre più tassa di soggiorno che incassiamo noi ma versiamo al comune) A presto, Sara

The La Magnolia B&B is a little piece of paradise. Located in a strategic place, close to the center, with a beautiful garden, it's a gem. We had a great time and highly recommend it to everyone. Perfect reception beyond all our expectations. The owner did much more than we expected, reserving the veranda for breakfasts and dinners (due to the closure at 6 pm of all catering activities), even preparing a dinner for 4 people personally. A green corner in the midst of buildings, where you can have breakfast with the delightful cakes of Mrs. Franca in a welcoming and familiar environment. I stayed here with my boyfriend to visit Bologna and found many strengths in this B&B. Starting from the structure, it has a very well-kept garden, functional, clean, and well-furnished rooms, and you can also have a good breakfast in the room. The location is also excellent, an area that offers many useful services: a short walk from the B&B there is the bus stop that takes you to the city, or if you prefer, you can easily reach the historic center on foot (10/15 minutes). Finally, the owner is very kind and always very helpful with her clients.

The structure is really very beautiful, well-kept, and comfortable. In a very quiet location, but at the same time very close to the city center (a quarter of an hour on foot, five minutes by bus). The breakfast is plentiful, and Franca manages everything impeccably. Without a doubt the best B&B in Bologna (and beyond!). I recommend it to everyone and would continue to do so!

The B&B is located on the second floor in a building that is parallel to the main street. The rooms are part of the owner's apartment with good lighting and air conditioning. The owner is extremely helpful and sociable without being intrusive. The location is convenient to the engineering faculty and a 15-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. In the area, there are many trattorias and restaurants to eat at and it is also very convenient to the bus stop.

I recommend this La Magnolia B&B to everyone, besides being beautiful and welcoming, it's also very clean and provides a hotel-like service. In the room you can find everything you need, in my room there was a fridge stocked with water, milk, fruit juice, little jams, and butter, also I found crackers and cookies. This is apart from the breakfast that offers everything, especially delicious cakes prepared by Mrs. Franca every morning, who is very kind and nice. I always found the room very well heated and spotlessly clean, not to mention the lovely little garden outside. My warmest compliments to the managers of the structure. If you're passing through Bologna, go there!
