The Locanda del Borgo is a tranquil and beautiful oasis nestled in the heart of the ancient village of Torrechiara, within the walls of the marvelous Castle of Torrechiara, a unique fifteenth-century manor.

After spending years in the field of sports retail and driven by the desire to promote the region where I grew up, my partner Dr. Gigetto Furlotti and I have decided to open an electric bike rental: the E-bike tour of Torrechiara.

This has led to the need to welcome our customers from all over the world in the best possible way.

As a result, we have opened the bed and breakfast La Locanda del Borgo inside the magnificent Torrechiara Castle.

After over 40 years of staying in hotels throughout Europe, I can finally transfer my acquired experience to this business, aiming to make every guest feel comfortable in the comfort we can offer, which also includes knowledge of the area.

Thanks to a reliable team we can count on, we have recently expanded our offering by opening La Bottega del Borgo, a small gem where one can taste the food and wine products of the food valley.

Wonderful place. The location couldn't be more evocative. Sleeping, waking up, eating and having an aperitif in a medieval village with no passing cars and a breathtaking view is priceless. Friendly and very helpful staff. Local products from neighboring businesses are promoted; they can be purchased on site. The icing on the cake was the visit to the nearby castle. I would return for stays longer than a single night.

We really liked the hotel, the rooms are nice and the location in the village is superb. The breakfast was varied and delicious. We also appreciated the evening welcome. Unfortunately, I forgot a book there and despite two emails asking for news, no one responded. I would have understood a negative response but I am sorry that there was no response at all, it is a pity.

The inn is located in a very small village with a castle, dreamlike atmosphere (even the fog became suggestive). Very kind host, spacious, clean rooms with all the comforts. Abundant breakfast with homemade cakes. Too bad we were only passing through!

I stayed at the property for one night, because I was looking for a place to stay near Parma. It was above and beyond my expectations, value for money. Navigating to the nearest parking lot was not easy for me, but in the end I found it. Basic breakfast, but very tasty. The stay was like in a fairytale village.

We spent a New Year's Eve 2024 night in the superior room. The structure is very comfortable and located in a lovely place. I would also like to mention the friendliness and professionalism of the owner, as well as the attention to small details, such as the complimentary water bottles. Highly recommended at 100%, especially for couples on vacation. Thank you.

The structure is located right inside the Borgo, so already upon arrival you can breathe a unique atmosphere, waiting for the sunset over the valley is a must. The area is extremely quiet, suitable for those who want to spend a few days in complete relaxation surrounded by nature or explore the surroundings thanks to numerous paths to walk or e-bike. It is also a good base for the city of Parma. The manager of this bed and breakfast also offers an excellent rental service and can recommend itineraries suitable for all levels to enjoy breathtaking landscapes. Last but not least, the small shop (small but well-stocked) thanks to which you can take home the typical food and wine excellences of the area. The staff is very kind and discreet, the cleanliness of the rooms is excellent. I recommend it to everyone, we left our hearts in Torrechiara.
