Description

Double room with private bathroom and small garden, with independent entrance near the hills of Bologna, 400m from the Rizzoli Orthopedic Hospital, a 10-minute walk from the historic center; close to the Faculty of Engineering.

Possibility of a third and fourth bed (rollaway beds), a 15-minute drive from the Fair, 10 minutes both by car and bus from the Sant'Orsola-Malpighi Hospital, free parking next to the entrance.

The hostess's name is Cosetta, she will welcome you with kindness and courtesy and will be helpful with information about the city.

Reservations for only one night are accepted only one or two days in advance.

Very nice B&B. The room even has a kitchenette. The location is quiet, elegant and residential, yet at the same time it is a 1 km walk from the splendid Piazza Maggiore.

The property is in a quiet area but convenient to traffic and the center. It has an excellent price-quality ratio, the possibility of parking for free with an included permit, is equipped with household and kitchen linens (which is not a given!) and has everything needed for breakfast or a coffee break! I would also add that the owner is very kind! Perfect for my work and leisure needs.

In the room there is the bathroom and also the kitchen. Never used. Because cooking and sleeping is not really ideal. In Bologna, fortunately, there is no shortage of places even a few meters from the B&B. I was immediately informed that the toilet seat was detached, a pity that every time you sat down you risked falling. Moreover, the toilet also has a bidet function, a bit uncomfortable even though it was equipped with a tap and not a spray. What left me puzzled is that I booked a B&B with breakfast. But breakfast is not provided by the manager. He provided me with everything I needed: coffee, croissants, yogurt, but I had to make it myself. It was not specified at the time of booking, so breakfast at the bar at my own expense. I give a suggestion to the lady: rather, activate an agreement with the Mamolo bar and offer that to customers. Very convenient the parking pass that allows parking in a street where parking is normally prohibited. Some adjustments are needed and then it would be perfect.

The size of the property was small for 4 people. Breakfast is just packaged bread, milk, and items to make coffee, we had breakfast on our own. The host was gracious enough to give us a discount for the size of the room, which was totally unexpected.

Disgusting place. Don't be fooled by the photos... it's awful. Dirty and smelly place. I had booked for two nights but I ran away after the first one. I also gave a 1 to the owner because a person who welcomes guests in such rooms has no respect for others. Stay away.

The only reason to stay here is the location and free parking, but be careful it's not reserved. If you don't find it in front of the property, you have to park along the street and it's not guaranteed that you will find it immediately, and be careful where you park because you could get fined.

Great location, it would be better not to mention the included breakfast. For 2 days and people: 2 Nastrine, 3 yogurts, milk, water, moka coffee and rusks. I think by mistake there was only butter without jam.

Convenient location to reach the city center and the nearby Rizzoli hospital, parking in the area with a pass provided by the B&B.\n\nI stayed on the occasion of my mother's hospitalization and I really enjoyed it.\n\nThe only thing, if I may, I would like to find a more modern and less bulky kitchen area to have more space inside the room. Also, having a microwave available would be very convenient.\n\nHowever, if I were to return to Bologna, I would already know where to stay!

I found the structure through the link on the website of the Istituto Ortopedico Rizzoli: we stayed there the night before our son's foot surgery.\n\nWe appreciated the kindness and availability of the managers, as well as the care and attention to the furnishings, including the private garden which is a real gem.\n\nFrom there, in 5 minutes on foot you can reach Piazza Maggiore, something we happily took advantage of. Recommended.

I stayed at the La Castagnina B&B, very convenient to reach the Rizzoli hospital. The room is clean and lacks nothing, but what makes the difference is the hostess: a lovely person, always available, truly unforgettable! I hope to come back as a tourist.
