The story of the B&B "Il Telegrafista Garibaldino" is a tale that dates back a long time. Combining a family atmosphere and professionalism, Il Telegrafista Garibaldino B&B makes hospitality its distinctive motto, a passion that has lasted since ancient times: that of the Olmeda family.

A welcoming style, ideal for a short business trip, vacation, leisure, moments of relaxation or sports, always characterized by comfort and pleasantness. At the end of the 19th century and the early 1900s, the house already welcomed guests, mainly merchants who came to the livestock fairs and markets, staying overnight and having breakfast with tripe and a glass of good Sangiovese. The guesthouse became an inn with accommodation, then a trattoria "da Ludvig" and finally a restaurant, still remembered for the famous homemade tagliatelle made by mother Renata and for the game cooked by grandmother Maria.

The sisters Mara and Elide continue the story with the B&B, bringing to light the house that gave birth to their ancestor Respicio Olmeda, a Garibaldino volunteer who passed into Italy's history for having written the famous telegram "Obbedisco" dictated to him by the commander Giuseppe Garibaldi in response to King Victor Emmanuel ordering him to retreat: the event is remembered with a commemorative plaque placed on the facade of the house. Mara, an architect, has taken care of the structure and furnishings, creating the mosaic that will welcome you at the entrance of the house and restoring the handmade furniture by grandfather Lodovico, already a "Cavaliere del Lavoro, " an honor recognized with a diploma by the Masters of Florence for having invented the small wooden planes for smoothing wood. Elide, always an operator and responsible in the tourism sector, takes care of the logistics and welcoming of guests. To offer guests a pleasant stay, Mara and Elide make all their will and enthusiasm available in caring for the environment and customers.

The structure is located in the medieval village of San Giovanni in Marignano and overlooks the beautiful Piazza Silvagni where markets, events, festivals and outdoor shows take place: a rich calendar that repeats itself punctually every year. The B&B is just a few minutes' drive from the most famous beaches of the Romagna Riviera and in the immediate vicinity of the Misano World Circuit Marco Simoncelli in Misano Adriatico, the Horses Riviera Resort and Riviera Golf Resort in San Giovanni in Marignano.
