The Neighborhood: Via Sant’Isaia & Porta Sant’Isaia
Our BnB is located in the heart of the Borgo di Sant’Isaia, a historic district of Bologna named after the ancient church of Sant’Isaia, documented as early as the 9th century. In the past, this street was one of the main access routes to the medieval city and hosted the city gate “Porta Sant’Isaia, ” demolished in the early 1900s. Today, the neighborhood is a lively and prestigious area, just a short walk from the historic center.
What to Visit

Giardini Margherita (2. 5 km) : the city’s largest park, ideal for walking and relaxing.
Piazza Santo Stefano & the “Seven Churches” (1. 6 km) : a unique medieval complex.
Via Farini & Galleria Cavour (2 km) : full of boutiques for high-end shopping.
Via del Pratello (0. 2 km) : lively in the evening, a meeting point for tourists and students, with many bars, pubs and typical Bolognese trattorias.
Food & Tradition
Bologna is the capital of good food! Nearby you’ll find trattorias and osterias serving traditional dishes such as tagliatelle al ragù, tortellini in broth, mortadella and local cheeses. Historic markets and artisan shops also offer an authentic experience.
Getting Around
Train Station (FS) : reachable in a few minutes by bus (lines 33 or 21) or taxi.
Marconi Airport: quickly reachable by taxi.
Taxis & Bike Sharing: available throughout the city for quick travel.

Buses: the area is well connected by TPER public transport, with frequent links to all major attractions.
Parking & ZTL
Via Sant’Isaia is located at the entrance of the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL), where access by car is restricted during the day.
You can park in nearby public parking areas, such as:

The stay at the structure Il Salotto was really pleasant. Optimal location to easily explore the center. The apartment was taken care of in every detail and equipped with every accessory and utensil. Mr. Vito is an excellent host, present and available for any eventuality. The structure is absolutely recommended.
