Description

The bed and breakfast is located in one of the safest areas of the old town, in a strategic position in front of Porta Lame, not far from the Central Station (10 min. by walk) but also easily accessible by bus (only 2 bus stop) and about 15 min. walk from Piazza Maggiore.

We are just 2, 5 miles from the airport and the location is very convenient to reach it, in fact, the average travel time by taxi is approximately 20 min.

Being out of the limited traffic area, you can reach the bed and breakfast by car and park at a cost of EUR 7 on blue area parking, or in a parking with the bar at a cost of 1 euro / day, which is 500 mt. far away.

B&B Il Cantuccio is characterized by 2 bedrooms, one with en suite bathroom and another with external bathroom for the exclusive use, in addition to the kitchen, where breakfast will be consumed.

The apartment is at 6' floor, so from the rooms you can enjoy a magnificent view of Porta Lame which overlook both rooms.

The apartment, newly renovated with high quality materials, turns out to be bright and extremely quiet as it equipped with Windows at high sound insulation.

Rooms are also equipped with maximum comfort: LED TV, free WiFi Internet access throughout the hotel, air conditioning, hair dryer, new furnitures in modern style.

We can also provide taxi service on request.

Moreover we are able to hire a bike to make city excursion.

First and foremost, I thank Donato for his kindness, availability, professionalism, and the trust he has shown me! Il Cantuccio is a warm and welcoming structure where we found everything we needed. The room is sunny and spacious with a view of Porta Lame, a strategic location for the station and the city center! Comfortable bed, coffee machine, water kettle, and refrigerator; impeccable cleanliness and helpful staff. The building has an elevator and the area where it is located is quiet and peaceful. Economical affiliated parking 10 minutes' walk from the property. What can I say: a true gem in Bologna! We will definitely come back! Thank you for everything!

Great location, just under ten minutes walk under the arcades of via Lame and you are already in the heart of the historic/commercial center. Good room, I had the one with the bathroom and the welcome was very cordial. The view of the historic Porta Lame from the sixth floor is suggestive. Satisfactory breakfast. Only one downside and certainly not from the managers but from some guests: since when do they leave dirty cups and saucers in the kitchen sink of a B&B after breakfast or afternoon coffee or tea? A B&B is not a hotel, next time go to the Baglioni.

Excellent structure, definitely recommendable: very convenient location under many aspects, serious, very kind, caring managers; very new, clean, and comfortable rooms, kitchen, and bathrooms; slightly higher price than average, but worth it. I've already been there twice, and I will go back.

Very pleasant stay. Highly recommended Bed and Breakfast. Caring, friendly and attentive manager in all possible details. Exemplary cleanliness. Exceptional quality/price ratio. Location a few hundred meters from the station and a 20-minute walk from the historic center. I don't think you can really expect more from a Bed and Breakfast than what Il Cantuccio offers to its guests.

Optimal location for a Bed & Breakfast that stands out as one of the few excelling in cleanliness and order. The property, recently renovated by the manager, has no flaws and ensures comfort and air conditioning in all rooms. Comfortable bed and spacious areas, hence the high rating. I will definitely come back.

Cozy and clean B&B in a strategic location (15/20 minutes walk from the center and the train station) welcoming staff. Beautiful, youthful Bologna and great food. I recommend the visit.
