The Hotel Alaska is situated in the heart of Marina Centro in Rimini, just a short distance from the beach.. Since 1964, the main concern of the Pellegrini family has been looking after its guests. Air-conditioned throughout, the hotel offers all modern comforts as well as a brand new wellness centre, designed to guarantee guests have a pleasant and relaxing stay. Everything was fine, except for transparency about prices. I asked for one more night and was charged 50% more without a clear explanation. At the end of the stay, after having agreed on the price and paid the full amount, I was asked to pay for an additional night.

Al momento del pagamento tutto ciò Le era stato spiegato in modo ben chiaro, cioè che la tariffa a Lei applicata per la notte supplementare era quella corrente e ben visibile a tutti sul sito. Per chiarezza, è bene specificare che La sua prenotazione originaria era stata fatta con più di 1 mese di anticipo e già saldata online, mentre la tariffa applicata per la notte supplementare era quella corrente al momento del soggiorno, che differiva di Euro 12.60 in più rispetto alla precedente !. Inoltre la sera prima della partenza, giustamente Le è stato richiesto il pagamento della notte effettuata da sua moglie comprensiva della Tassa di soggiorno niente in più di ciò che doveva. La saluto comunque cordialmente.

Hotel quite dated. Very small rooms, with economy bathrooms that are very cramped and showers that leak from the wall and wet the entire bathroom. The double bed consists of two single mattresses, very firm, as are the pillows. Towels are changed only every three days. Breakfast is shabby and very repetitive. There are no fresh juices even for a fee, nor fresh croissants, nor lactose-free products despite the request, except for milk. Coffee is forgettable. Fresh fruit is always the same. Jam comes from dispensers. Location is a few steps from the sea, in a secluded little street, but close to the train tracks which are very audible. It should be modernized. For the requested nightly price, it is definitely too expensive.

Carissima signora, il " parecchio datato" non glielo permetto visto tutti i soldi che ogni anno ci investiamo in quanto Hotel di proprietà ! E' un vero piacere sentire certi giudizi scritti in una recensione quando davanti alla faccia mi ha detto che tutto era stato di suo gradimento. Spiacente che giudichi in modo così approssimativo il nostro premuroso e faticoso lavoro, che per fortuna a differenza di Lei tantissime persone apprezzano. Lei ha prenotato l'ultima stanza disponibile nel periodo di Altissima stagione che non è assolutamente piccola ma economica (senza box doccia con tanto di foto presenti in ogni dove!) usufruendo di un considerevole risparmio, con servizi basilari come, balcone, TV, cassaforte e l'aria condizionata di cui ha piacevolmente usufruito! Ma la stanza Economy, che è da ristrutturare, non rispecchia assolutamente il resto della nostra struttura ! I materassi, purtroppo per Lei, sono quelli che obbligatoriamente noi strutture ricettive in regola con le leggi antincendio dobbiamo avere e se non era abbastanza morbido per la sua delicata schiena bastava farLo presente e ci saremmo attivati così come per i cuscini di cui tra l'altro siamo molto forniti. .: -) Cara signora, il cambio degli asciugamani in un 3 stelle è ogni 3 giorni e non ogni giorno, come in un 5 stelle ad ogni modo se voleva con Euro 10, 00 di supplemento poteva richiede il cambio tutte le volte che desiderava ! . In fondo per nostra fortuna Lei ha soggiornato solo 4 giorni qui ! La colazione è uno dei nostri punti di forza con prodotti tutti freschi, preparati dallo Chef, come i croissant, brioche, torte fatte in casa e tutti i prodotti salati ! La marmellata, signora negli alberghi, per questioni igieniche, deve essere servita obbligatoriamente nei dosatori e non nei barattoli da casa: -) I nostri prodotti sia dolci che salati sono molto graditi da tutti gli altri ospiti come anche la frutta proposta: Pesche, Ananas, Melone, Anguria, Uva, ma Lei ad Agosto magari voleva le ciliegie o una banalissima Mela: -) Con tutto il ben di Dio proposto se voleva un espresso lo poteva benissimo ordinare pagando Euro 1, 30 e la spremuta poi... Sinceramente a me non è mai capitato di pretenderLa in un hotel o in un B&B, qui ci sono i succhi preparati, se usciva ed andava in uno dei tantissimi bar di cui Rimini è piena se la poteva far servire con tanto di inchino! I had a great stay at this hotel. I had requested a quiet room and I found it. Furthermore, the cleanliness was impeccable. The welcome was warm; I found both the owner and the reception staff extremely helpful and friendly, in true Romagna style. Extra point: the breakfast was plentiful and varied; I found many things I liked, from cakes to toast to fresh fruit. I highly recommend it!

Gentilissima Signora,la ringrazio per la gentilezza con la quale ha espresso la sua opinione chè mi ha lasciata oltremodo basita.!!, Probabilmente sarà abituata ad altri standard ma non è sicuramente stata obiettiva!! La stanza che ha ricevuto, per soggiornare una sola notte, è stata totalmente rinnovata e ampliata nel 2020 , e in tutta sincerità definirla piccola per due persone e soprattutto datata mi sembra proprio FUORI LUOGO, !! Anche la Qualità prezzo definita con un 5 mi sembra molto riduttivo, penso che debba valutare meglio il tutto . I gestori ,come ci ha definito , cara signora sono i proprietari , famiglia di romagnoli DOC che hanno festeggiato i 61 anni di attività .e che si prodigano ogni anno affinchè tutto possa essere gradevole per gli ospiti che soggiornano a casa loro!

We randomly came across this Bed and Breakfast, discovered thanks to the 'Bed and Breakfast Day 2020' offer. We had a great time! The staff is very kind and helpful. The room and bathroom are spacious and very clean. The room is air-conditioned and there is also a small terrace. Great breakfast. Very close to the beach. Excellent value for money. We enjoyed it so much that upon departure we booked for another weekend. And we will definitely book more! We were informed that from July 15, 2020, the metro-sea service resumes. So the Hotel Alaska is conveniently reachable by train, the station is very close and with the metro-sea, the hotel is just one stop away (Pascoli stop). Very convenient to avoid the long summer queues on the highway! Highly recommended for everything!

The way you are welcomed and pampered is definitely the strong point of 'Hotel Alaska', the family management probably facilitates all this and allows those who stay there to feel good as if they were at home. The structure, considering the difficult covid-19 period, has implemented all the hygiene measures required and for this reason the cleanliness of the structure deserves the highest rating, not only for the common areas (continuously sanitized) but also for the rooms.
