Frida Room & Breakfast is an easily accessible accommodation facility, located on the raised floor of a small building from the 1930s. Well-served by public transport, it is situated in a quiet and less busy area on the outskirts of the historical center, which can be reached on foot in just a few minutes.

The apartment, completely renovated in 2012, is clean, elegant, comfortable, stylishly furnished, and attention has been paid to details. It consists of a living room with a fully equipped kitchenette, two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and it is equipped with free internet connection.

Frédéric responded to me quickly and was available. He is a trustworthy host and works well. He was very kind to let me enjoy the room longer than usual. He bought me the things I had asked for regarding my intolerances. I was surprised by the self-service breakfast, but it was convenient. A quiet neighborhood, close to the center and the station.

Overall, it is a decent structure. A sore point is the breakfast, lack of water bottles, and little food choice. Lack of TV (it is a TV-free facility, but I did not pay attention, I do not know if it was written).

B&B 15 minutes walk from the center, in a quiet and silent area. Clean, modern, and with everything needed to prepare breakfast. In the fridge, there were milk, jams, and fruit juices available. Additionally, there were cookies and toast. Highly recommended. Parking in front of the Bed & Breakfast is paid until 6:00 PM. It wasn't difficult to find parking.

Cozy double room in a small apartment located in a residential area just outside the walls. Functional private bathroom, nice common space. There was effective communication with the host despite some unexpected issues on both sides for the check-in. Only drawbacks: the bathroom of the other room very close to ours (you could hear all the noises) and the breakfast with little food choice. But during the GP weekend in Imola, we couldn't ask for better for 85€ a night.

May 16 and 17, 2025. New and spotlessly clean apartment, just a stone's throw from the center of Bologna. Friendly and helpful host. Very varied breakfast: sustainable teas and herbal teas, homemade jams, regular and whole grain cookies, honey, yogurt, bread and rusks, whole and skim milk, butter, coffee, soluble barley... Fully equipped kitchen, spacious and airy room with a very comfortable bed. Quiet area. Absolutely a 10 with honors!

The only small note to make is that there is no TV in the room, because you should leave the choice to the guest whether to read a book or watch TV. One note to make to the host is that at the time of choosing the room, it is not clear that only one has a bathroom in the room, while the second room has an external bathroom even though it is dedicated.

The room is spacious, bright, and clean. Optimal location, 15 minutes from the center of Bologna and from the hospital facilities. We will definitely keep it in mind if we return to the city.

Our stay went very well. Frederic is always available and very attentive. The breakfast was simple, but there was something for everyone's taste. Cookies, butter, jam, spreadable paste. Fruit juice, milk, yogurt. Fruit. Tea and coffee. The accommodation is very well located. There is a bus stop 2 minutes away on foot. It is located near the center (20 minutes on foot). I recommend this accommodation.

Sul mercato esistono decine di prodotti diversi e ognuno di voi ha un proprio prodotto preferito, per questo motivo non fornisco in automatico lo shampoo perché molto difficilmente intercetterei il vostro gusto. I would prefer not to express a judgment because I am not used to leaving negative reviews that compromise the work of others. However, if it compromises my family's stay, especially with a small child, I feel obliged to give it. In this case, it was the only time in my life that I had to pay for having nothing but a questionable bed to sleep in and a questionable shower to wash. Everything else was invisible, starting with the host we never met because the welcome was less than zero. They left us outside the door for twenty minutes with suitcases and a child in tow without answering because they were busy. We had to ring the doorbells of other tenants to enter the condominium lobby and retrieve the key from a box. Guests should not be treated like this. The new and convenient trend of remote check-in is fine, but not like this. Moreover, it is pointless to call it a room & breakfast because there is nothing for breakfast except for two yogurts in the fridge and two dry biscuits. Drinking water from the tap, hoping it is actually drinkable. The bathroom is outside the room, on the other side of the house, adjacent to another room with the risk of waking other guests because the door is so uncomfortable to open and close that it is inevitable to make noise. Furthermore, there is no physical space to place things in the bathroom because it is so small that you can't even turn around. Let alone wash a child! There was a visible smell of mold in the room between the wall and the baseboard, unlivable air. I will stop here, which is better.

Mi permetto solo alcune puntualizzazioni: - il giorno precedente ha comunicato una fascia oraria per l'arrivo della sua famiglia tra le 15. 00 e le 15. 30. Io sono stato presente in struttura fino alle 16. 04, quel giorno non potevo purtroppo trattenermi oltre, ma in quel momento l'ho avvisata (con un audio Whatsapp e una foto esplicativa) di aver organizzato il check-in a distanza. Alle 16. 28 ho perso effettivamente la vostra chiamata, 13 minuti esatti dopo vi ho richiamato e mi avete informato di essere già entrati in struttura grazie alle istruzioni ricevute in precedenza. Siamo stati quindi al telefono alcuni minuti nei quali le ho riferito le principali informazioni relative alla struttura. Sono invece 40 i messaggi che ci siamo scambiati, sia prima che durante il soggiorno, via Whatsapp...proprio invisibile non direi. - per la prima colazione gli ospiti trovano a disposizione frutta, latte, yogurt, burro, marmellata, succhi di frutta, pane a fette, biscotti, caffè, the, tisane. Mi dispiace non aver incontrato i suoi gusti. - l'acqua di Bologna è buona e controllata (questa era una domanda a cui le avevo risposto anche in chat), in ogni caso qui di seguito le informazioni dichiarate dal gestore del servizio idrico: https: //www. gruppohera. it/offerte-e-servizi/casa/acqua/che-acqua-bevi#: ~: text=In%20quasi%20tutti%20i%20casi, comparabile%20alle%20acque%20in%20commercio. - per quanto riguarda il bagno esterno alla camera ricordo il suo stupore anche al telefono il giorno d'arrivo. Lei ha prenotato la camera "Doppia-Matrimoniale" che su questo portale è coerentemente descritta con "Bagno privato esterno". Ho ricontrollato anche poco fa e l'informazione è ben visibile. It's a good place for a short stay. The check-in and communication with the host was unnecessarily complicated and the breakfast was a bit underwhelming because only toast, butter, and Nutella were provided with some drinks.

I chose B&B Frida for a work weekend in Bologna in the Cirenaica area. Good solution, in a quiet area. Comfortable and spacious rooms. Excellent value for money and very kind and helpful manager. Recommended. I will definitely come back.

We were looking for a place near the Dehon theater for a concert, and this one seemed perfect from the first moment: very close to the theater, in a quiet area, clean, and comfortable. The owner is very kind and helpful with all parking information, which is available in good quantity (for a fee). The bathroom in the room is a bit narrow but always clean, with a spacious shower. The breakfast area is also spacious and well-stocked for every need, although unfortunately we did not use it (it's hard to please everyone's tastes, but we accept it).

La struttura non ha charme. È la prima volta che vado in un b&b nel periodo natalizio e non trovo un minimo segno di atmosfera natalizia. Nessun set di cortesia in bagno. Piatti, bicchieri e stoviglie sono tutti spaiati e messi a caso. La colazione fai da te sarebbe sufficiente, ma dato che la marmellata di castagne fatta in casa presentava muffa sul coperchio, non ho osato assaggiarla. Nonostante tutto, la pulizia era perfetta. Da mettere in conto dai 7,5 euro ai 15 al giorno per il parcheggio, perché nei dintorni ci sono solo striscie blu e silos.

Mi permetto solo alcune puntualizzazioni: - mi sono molto stupito si sia aspettata di trovare una "struttura di charme", non avendo mai classificato Frida R&B come una struttura di charme. Indagando ho così scoperto che i viaggiatori possono nel corso del tempo indicare in autonomia dei "Tag" (caratteristiche indicate dai viaggiatori che hanno in precedenza recensito la struttura) senza che arrivi una notifica al gestore. Poco fa ho quindi proceduto a cancellare i Tag non coerenti con la struttura (quello segnalato da lei non era purtroppo l'unico). - il set di cortesia del bagno è una delle caratteristiche soggette a opzione su questo sito. Coerentemente la spunta di questo servizio per la nostra struttura è spenta. A beneficio degli altri ospiti segnalo che all'interno del bagno è comunque presente un sapone liquido neutro. - il costo della sosta in area pubblica stabilito dal Comune di Bologna per la "corona semicentrale" a ridosso del centro storico è di 1,50 € l'ora dalle ore 8,00 alle ore 18,00; il costo massimo giornaliero è di 7,50 € - viene infatti applicato un forfait. I giorni festivi è gratuito. Per quanto riguarda la marmellata mi scuso molto dell'accaduto, in tanti anni non era mai capitato. Cordiali saluti, Frédéric

Frederic was very nice and helpful. Very good at explaining things to do and with directions. Facilities were all very good. The only problem was that the upstairs neighbors were very noisy, so bring earplugs to stay here.

The owner, helpful and friendly, welcomes guests to the Frida Room & Breakfast. The room is grey with two separate beds as the private bathroom is located outside the room. To reach it, you have to cross the common area, which is the kitchen, where someone might be having breakfast. This layout might not be pleasant. Furthermore, the door of the private bathroom is next to the door of another room, and opening it could create noise in front of the other room. The box for returning the keys at the end of the stay is made of metal, causing unnecessary noise when the keys are dropped. Adding some foam padding inside would be beneficial. Everything else seems to be fine.

I stayed 3 nights and it was great. The host was helpful with advice on bus lines and other questions. Very uncomplicated. I chose this B&B because it is ideally situated between the fair and the city. You can find everything for a sweet breakfast in the kitchen, including a coffee maker and tea. Sometimes you might meet the other guests in the kitchen, which is a nice change as a solo traveler.

Located just under 2 km from the center (the same distance from the train/bus station), the apartment is renovated, very clean, and equipped with all comforts. The bed in the Grey room is very comfortable, a fundamental detail for resting well after the tiring visit of the city. The area is very quiet, well-kept, and well-supplied. Frédéric was very kind and met all our needs. I recommend Frida Room & Breakfast by Frédéric for its strategic location and the exceptional hospitality of its owner, which actually makes it an excellent value for money.

The B&B Frida is located in a residential area in the center of Bologna, the guest sleeps peacefully. A few steps away are the University, museums, and the historic center with shops. The room was very clean and the kitchen is well-kept and equipped with everything needed to prepare both breakfast and dinner. The host was always available and responded immediately to my request for an earlier check-in. Frida is an excellent place for both holidaymakers and those visiting Bologna for work. The apartment is located in a residential area about 10 minutes walk from the center. We stayed with a 9-month-old baby and the owner was very kind, providing us with everything we needed (not only the crib but also toys and a bath towel for the baby). The breakfast offered is very complete and for those who want more, it is possible to prepare coffee, tea, and toast. Excellent homemade jam made by them. The rooms are comfortable and well equipped. We will come back here again when returning to Bologna!

I recommend this apartment to anyone wanting to visit Bologna. You will find a very clean, pleasant and functional accommodation, well cared for in details, a very well-equipped kitchen, great kindness and availability from the owners. Excellent central area, quiet and immediately outside the ZTL. It's easy to park in the immediate vicinity.

The last times we stayed in Bologna we stayed at Frida Room & Breakfast and we were very satisfied. The location was excellent for us. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and clean, and the private bathroom was clean. As for breakfast, we personally did not have it, but the kitchen is equipped. Communication with the owner was also very good, helpful in arranging the check-in. We will definitely come back and we recommend it.

The accommodation is on the ground floor, not very bright. The room and bathroom, although not close to the room, are clean as well as the common area. The shower needs to be repaired, there is a blown bulb on the bathroom mirror, there is no TV and the DIY breakfast includes homemade jams, but already opened, in the fridge. For what it offers, it is a bit expensive and the bathroom of the room not 'en suite' is too far away and uncomfortable especially if there are other unknown guests in the house and you stay with a companion. Fredric is kind but not always available.

Two of us stayed in the Violet room for 2 nights. I'd definitely recommend the Frida Room & Breakfast.\n\nThe host, Frederick, was very welcoming and made sure the place was well-set up and provided breakfast essentials and a lot of information/books/leaflets on Bologna.\n\nAlthough we didn't use it, we had use of the kitchen and fridge. It was very clean and quiet and only a 15 min walk to the centre (the bus is faster but the walk is lovely).\n\nAlthough we shared the flat with other guests, the space is set up so there is privacy for everyone. The room is clean and the bathroom too.

My husband and I stayed at this B&B for 5 nights. The place is very nice, well-kept in detail with taste, with a comfortable kitchen. The double bed is a little small, but you get used to it. Cleaning is ok. The only small downside is the breakfast. Usually in the B&Bs we have visited, there was always someone who prepared it for us, but here everything is self-service.

The structure is the epitome of comfort and relaxation one could expect. Maximum care in all the details. Nothing is left to chance. Sophistication in the details of furniture and interior design. New structure. Abundance of breakfast and variety, basically for all tastes. Snacks and drinks available for every moment of the day. Books available with the possibility to take them away if the reading is not finished. Restaurants, pizzerias, bars, entertainment venues, and other services on the same street. Quiet location even though just a few steps from the area of Sant'Orsola hospital. One thing is certain: if I were to return to Bologna, my choice for overnight stay will be FRIDA. It was a short stay, but enough for me to feel at home. Excellent welcome and availability of the manager of the Frida Room & Breakfast, Frédéric; a nice person who meets the needs and problems of the people staying at the B&B. The environment deserves a 10 and praise for cleanliness (indispensable for me), for the furnishings, for the care and research of the details, and for the comfort it offers. Moreover, the structure is located in a quiet area, with the possibility of reaching places of interest both on foot and by bus to any area of Bologna. Fully satisfied and I recommend it for all types of holidays: from weekends to romantic getaways and even for longer stays. A heartfelt thank you to Frédéric for the hospitality and courtesy.
