Description
Fiera Otto guest house is a welcoming and well-maintained establishment with two spacious, comfortable, clean, and quiet rooms. One quadruple room with an en-suite bathroom, and one double room with a private bathroom exclusively for the room's use. Both rooms are equipped with autonomous heating, air conditioning, TV, Wi-Fi, bath and bed linen, hairdryer, shampoo, and shower gel. A fridge and a microwave are available to all guests.
Our guest house is strategically located, being only 700m from the Fiera District, 500m from the Unipol Auditorium, and 800m from the Teatro Europa Auditorium, making it ideal for those coming to Bologna for business, pleasure, and well-being. The Sant'Orsola Hospital is reachable in a few stops with BUS 60, and the Maggiore Hospital with line 39.
Near our guest house, guests can visit Fico, the historic center of Bologna, the university area, and the famous Porticos, where they will find monuments and places of interest to satisfy their desire for knowledge. The Parco Nord is 2.2 km away and can be reached in a few minutes with line 25.
It is also ideal for parents visiting their children studying at the University of Bologna, as the Campus Bologna Alma Mater is 500m from our guest house, and Beyoo Laude Living - Student Accommodation is 550m away. There are bars, restaurants, pizzerias, pharmacies, and six supermarkets in the surrounding area.
Our guest house is the perfect place for families who want to find the comforts of their own home in their place of stay, for business and work trips, for a dream vacation in a romantic and discreet environment, and for all those who want to take care of themselves in a serene and comfortable environment.
Fiera Otto is 5 minutes from exit 7 Bis of the Bologna ring road and has free parking upon reservation and availability. Free parking is also available nearby from 6:00 pm to 8:00 am.
Smoking is not allowed throughout the establishment, and parties are not allowed, nor are guests allowed in the rooms. There are two payment methods: payment of 30% of the entire stay through a bank transfer and the rest to be paid in cash at check-in, or payment of the entire stay in cash at check-in. After payment, we will hand over the keys to guests so they can return at any time of the night.
It is important to respect the privacy of others and not make noise. I am a working woman, so I kindly ask my guests to communicate their arrival time in advance. Reservations can be made by calling my mobile phone, sending a message, via WhatsApp, or email. I thank all my potential guests in advance and cannot wait to welcome them into my home.

What guests say
Guests particularly value the host’s warm, helpful welcome, the cleanliness and the good value for money. Rooms are generally spacious and have the essentials. The property is in a quiet area with nearby bus stops, and the city centre and station can be reached on foot or by public transport. It is a simple accommodation, and some reviews mention dated furnishings or facilities and occasional maintenance issues.

There’s no kitchen or dining area, so it’s really just for sleeping. Otherwise, everything else is fine. I don’t see any problem.

The host was very kind and helpful. She waited for us to check in after a concert (despite public transport being delayed) and allowed us to keep the room without problems even past the scheduled check-out time due to an unforeseen incident we had.

Great option for staying at prices lower than the city's average. In our case the bathroom was not in the room but it was private, so it made no difference. A special mention for the cleanliness. The very kind lady welcomed us in the best possible way. She is a delightful person. We will definitely return.

Beautiful historic building, a little part of the city where you feel like you're in an ancient Bologna and, as a backdrop, all the new construction that has grown up around it over the decades and the Bologna Trade Fair (Expo). I went to the Expo and it is at most a 10-minute walk from the B&B. The host is a really very nice person. Inexpensive, what can I say, highly recommended.

Very cold room despite the radiators being on; the system is certainly old: they were lukewarm and we slept dressed. Wobbly bed and windows that rattled. The bathroom water took a long time to get hot and was yellowish. Needs modernizing.

We had a great few nights. The owner was incredibly friendly and let us in a few hours early so we could leave our luggage. The room was cosy. Even though there was no breakfast included, we got a voucher for a breakfast (very Italian: a brioche and a cappuccino) at a nearby bar. It took us 20 minutes on foot to get to the city centre, which is absolutely doable. Supermarkets are nearby. We enjoyed our stay very much. Thank you, Linda.

Great structure in terms of location and value for money, the bus stop to the city center (station area) is 20 meters away, from where you can reach it in 5 minutes or in 20 minutes on foot. The lady who manages it is very helpful and polite. The room is unadorned but equipped with all the comforts with a bathroom in the room, do not expect a 5-star hotel but a simple place where you can do everything you need. Recommended.

Great location close to the center and the fair. Not far from the train station and airport. Quiet location and spacious, comfortable room with parking possibilities, ideal for those who need a stopover for work. Excellent value for money. Owner is kind and punctual.

Basic accommodation, but just steps away from the center and the Bologna fair. Very kind and helpful host. Unbeatable price.

The room used was welcoming and comfortable. It has an en-suite bathroom, television, and hydromassage shower. The common entrance is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave oven, and a coffee machine with pods. The owner, Mrs. Linda, is very welcoming and available. Excellent value for money. Located about 2 km from the center, the structure is highly recommended.

Clean structure, kindness of the manager, convenience of parking. Bus to the city center with a very close stop. The bed linen is clean but really old, as well as the furniture and the bathroom. There is not even a toilet seat.

The short stay was pleasant in an unexpectedly "retro" atmosphere. Great welcome from Linda who immediately made us feel at ease, also offering us a welcome coffee. There was a problem with the hot water that could not be resolved within the duration of our stay, but Linda promptly informed us with a message while we were in the city center, and to make up for it she offered us breakfast at the bar nearby the B&B. Thank you again Linda!

Spacious room with private bathroom in a residential area of Bologna, 2 km from the center, so quite convenient. The room had a bit of a musty smell, evidently it had been closed for a long time. The sockets were a bit inconvenient (at least for my side of the bed), they were high up, so I had to leave my phone hanging to charge it. The air conditioning was fine, necessary for Bologna in the summer. The area is full of mosquitoes, so bring some mosquito coils if you want to open the windows (the bathroom one has a mosquito net but the bedroom one does not). The room is large enough for four beds, but in front of the wardrobe, there is a desk, so it can only be used partially. The second bedside lamp was burnt out and the TV picked up about 10 channels. The bathroom has a hydromassage shower and a toilet with an electric pump like on an airplane (never seen that in an apartment, to be honest). However, there were shower products and shampoo and soap for hands. The room is on the second floor without an elevator. The lady prepared coffee for us and left cold water and we were able to use the fridge. Additionally, we had WiFi available. Overall, it was fine for one night, definitely for Bologna it is an economical room without too many pretensions.

I had already stayed here in 2018, I rebooked a bit randomly realizing later that I had already been at Mrs. Linda's. The B&B has proved once again a confirmation. Very spacious room, with all the comforts, air conditioning, TV sofa, chairs, table, wardrobe, absolutely nothing is missing. Excellent bathroom, large, nice big shower. The structure is reachable by bus 21 outside the station and the stops to and from the station are right in front of the building. A few steps away there is a pizzeria and also the Lidl supermarket if you need to buy something. Excellent cleanliness, possibility to use the common fridge located outside the rooms. Super quiet environment. Mrs. very kind as always.
