Although the hotel is a bit dated, it really offers a good quality-price ratio, good cleanliness, and excellent availability and courtesy from the managers. The hotel is in an excellent location, very close to the sea and the pedestrian area of Cattolica. The only downside is the lack of air conditioning in the room, but the presence of a ceiling fan that could have compensated for the heat was so noisy that it was not usable at night.

Although the room is basic and a bit vintage, especially the bathroom, it is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is varied, I would say the quality/price ratio is excellent.

I stayed at this property for three nights. The room was spacious, with all the necessary comforts (TV, air conditioning, a small refrigerator). Great value for money! The owner welcomed us and was very courteous. Highly recommended.

The stay at Derby was absolutely perfect! The room is spacious and well organized, the bathroom with towel holder placed in the right spots. There was no lack of kindness and friendliness from the managers. We hope to return soon.

The stay was pleasant, the friendliness of the hotel manager was impeccable. Perfect cleanliness of the rooms even though the hotel would require a renovation. Despite this, we didn't lack anything: my daughter and I were very satisfied.

Derby is run by two charming gentlemen who are doing their best to satisfy their guests. The place is not luxurious but has everything needed for a seaside holiday in a good home atmosphere. We strongly appreciated the unpretentious and sincere care given to us as Derby's guests and we will surely do our best to come back next year.

The very kind owners despite our special hours made us find a rich and varied breakfast, spacious and large room with a great little terrace overlooking the sea. I highly recommend it also for families.

I stayed at the Derby hotel, a family-run B&B. The breakfast was excellent and plentiful. The room was on the third floor and overlooked the facade of another hotel. The single room, although small, was cozy with a nice wardrobe and an attached safe. The small balcony allowed me to hang wet clothes after returning from the beach. The beach is very close, just cross the street and walk 200 meters, it is affiliated with the hotel. I was allowed to take away food and eat it in the dining room, at my breakfast table, they kept the food fresh in their fridge and, if needed, they even warmed up the meal for me. You can also eat on-site, with a choice of salads, piadinas, or toasts made by the hotel staff. They were very kind and always available. The only downside is the absence of air conditioning in the room. If I have the opportunity again, I will choose it as my first option.

Arrived and immediately felt comfortable, small but nice, everything is simply perfect here, from the excellent breakfast, cleanliness, service, helpfulness. The two brothers always nice and friendly, family atmosphere. We had a wonderful time that unfortunately ended too quickly. We will definitely come back and can only recommend the Derby. I stayed at the Derby hotel in their new B&B formula. The room is very clean and of the right size, the breakfast is plentiful and of good quality, with fresh croissants and many homemade sweets. The two owners who manage the hotel are very friendly and nice, and do not hesitate to help the customers. The location is great, in less than 2 minutes you are on the beach, but at the same time it is not located on a main street, so there is no chaos in the evening. The prices are low, even though the quality is not lacking. The only two negative points are that there is no actual shower box in the room (although for a 2-star hotel it is not even a negative point) and the air conditioner. But definitely highly recommended!
