Description

The Ciao Bologna Bed & Breakfast is located in the Savena neighborhood, one of the most prestigious in the city for its green spaces, public transport links, and services.

It is not a vacation home but a traditional Bed & Breakfast, so guests have a room with an en-suite bathroom at their disposal. Maximum privacy is ensured, but it is not suitable for those looking for an independent apartment to stay in. Breakfast is served in the kitchen (included in the price), but there is no possibility to cook.

It is easily accessible from the central station, thanks to frequent buses, trains (to San Ruffillo station), and the ring road and highway. We do not have private parking, but you can leave your car on the street for free.

Just a few minutes away are the Sant’Orsola-Malpighi Hospital, the Bellaria Hospital, the Rizzoli Orthopedic Institute, the Madre Fortunata Toniolo Clinic, and the Villa Laura Hospital. In addition, the Bologna Exhibition Center is only a 10-minute drive away and can be reached via 3 ring road exits.

The guest room is elegant and comfortable, with a private bathroom, LED TV, central heating, and wireless internet connection.

Great attention is given to the cleanliness of the premises and the comfort of our customers, whom we prefer to call "guests," making them feel at ease without neglecting their privacy.

My name is Enzo and I am the owner of Ciao Bologna B&B. I have turned my natural inclination towards hospitality and welcoming into a job, and thus Ciao Bologna B&B was born, a lodging facility located within the apartment where I live.

The warmth of my Guests (whom I prefer not to call Clients), the formation of many new friendships, and the interaction with people of different ages, habits, cultures, and personalities, intrigues, satisfies, and amuses me. I would like to thank those who have encouraged me and continue to do so, as well as those who are still physically close to me and those who are no longer here.

Via Benedetto Marcello is one of the main street of the Savena Neighborhood (Quartiere Savena) in the south-east area of Bologna that includes other important streets like Via Emilia Levante, Via Mazzini and the train stop “Bologna San Ruffillo“, very useful to reach the central station or the city center.

Several bus routers connect B&B Ciao Bologna to the Train Station, the Guglielmo Marconi Airport and Bologna Fair. For those arriving in Bologna by car, we are very close to the exit 11-bis of the ring road and the motorway.

The adjacent green areas of Paleotto Park, the Park of Forte Bandiera, the Parco of the Cedri, Lungosavena Park and the N. Luccarini – W. Anders Garden, offer pleasant relaxing moments and the opportunity to go jogging or walking away from traffic.

Buongiorno, grazie mille. Ci tengo solo a precisare che il phon è in bagno nella vetrinetta. La colazione viene servita alle 7.30 con prodotti da forno caldi ma nel vostro caso l'avete fatta prima delle 6 da soli e quindi c'erano solo brioches confezionate, fette biscottate, confetture/Nutella, caffè, latte e succo (in frigo).

Enzo is a attentive, precise and welcoming host and so is the accommodation he manages. Together with my son we stopped at Ciao Bologna B&B on a trip and stopping here was a pleasant and restful break (the area is quiet and peaceful).

Enzo was very welcoming and helpful, he suggested where to have dinner and called to book the table himself. He is a very attentive host and his B&B is well-kept and clean. If I were to return to Bologna, I would definitely contact him again.

Very good accommodation but it was very hot and the air conditioning did not work. Cannot rate the breakfast as we had to leave at 3 am for our flight.

Despite our short stay, I recommend it first of all for the cleanliness and welcoming environment we found and then for the optimal location from which the Toniolo nursing home is easily reachable. The manager is very kind and the lady who welcomed us, very polite and helpful.

My stay was very short, but I was satisfied. Everything was clean and tidy, and the owner was kind. Having to go to the Toniolo nursing home, I found the location optimal. I also had no problems with parking, finding a spot right outside the house without having to pay.
