The tourist accommodation/holiday home is located in the ancient hamlet of Montericco di Albinea, in the province of Reggio Emilia, near the medieval castle of Montericco, from which you can dominate the Po Valley and from which, on clear days, you can clearly see the profile of the Alps.
Just 2 km from the town centre, it resides in via Castellana, no. 40 and is only 15 minutes from the centre of Reggio Emilia.
The accommodation is ground floor, completely renovated, simple but suggestive, it consists of the first floor, living room and kitchen with fireplace and sofa bed, entrance hall and on the second floor, bathroom with shower cubicle and bedroom with double bed. It has a large cellar for parking bicycles and/or motorbikes and a free parking space.
Being a portion of the house in the ancient walls of the castle, it does not offer the possibility of a garden but enjoys nature trails for bicycles and walks that start directly from the village, plus we offer the opportunity to visit our family vinegar cellar, thus tasting our products
We are happy to organise - by appointment - a guided tour of the vinegar cellar with tastings of our products. We will tell you our story by first tasting from our small bottles and then take you to the attic to taste directly from barrels made of different woods. Hello, I live very close to the Holiday Home and I have been running this facility for 2 years, I am very satisfied because I feel and guests tell me that they get on very well with us. I like the comparison to improve myself both in the good and the bad. We speak English, I only speak Italian and this sometimes puts me in difficulty, because I would like to simplify life for my guests and not complicate it; -) My main activity is running the family vinegar cellar, because we have been producing Traditional Balsamic Vinegar PDO of Reggio Emilia and balsamic condiments for three generations. I am very happy and feel lucky to live in Montericco and in general in emilia romagna because of the view, the food, the culture that surrounds me.

Very beautiful apartment equipped with everything you need and more. The owners welcomed us with great kindness and availability. Enchanting location in the midst of greenery. I recommend it to recharge your batteries and disconnect from the city.
