Description
This house was acquired in 1850 by the great-grandparents of the current owner. It had already been constructed in 1830 using typical materials from that period: stones sourced from the Secchia River and handcrafted bricks from the old Romani kiln.
In 1938, it was inherited by grandparents Vittorio and Tilde.
A year later, World War II broke out, and during this time, many displaced persons from Reggio Emilia and Modena were accommodated there.
When the war ended, the house had remained unscathed, and upon the arrival of American troops, Vittorio granted permission to set up a base camp on his property.
Today, this treasure of memories belongs to Emanuela B.
Deeply connected to the history of this house, she decided to renovate it and, taking advantage of the space available, transformed it into a Bed and Breakfast: the - Bed and Breakfast Casa Tilde - in honor of her grandmother Tilde, who served as a source of inspiration and a model of strength and determination during the darkest times.

What can I say, simply fantastic. Quality of a hotel in a cozy, clean bed and breakfast that is rich in services (private bathroom in the room, television, wifi). I could not have asked for better. Located in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Ten and praise for friendliness and kindness. An additional note of merit for the wifi and for the breakfast, truly excellent and abundant. Excellent quality/price ratio, if I were to return to the area I would have no doubts.
