Description
Casa Tarabuso welcomes guests to a historic farmhouse in the plains, revitalized through meticulous restoration that maintains its rural essence while interpreting it with contemporary style. The property is set within an agricultural estate managed organically, where vineyards, vegetable gardens, and orchards coexist in a serene and orderly landscape, far from traffic and seamlessly integrated into the natural surroundings.

The experience of staying here is deeply connected to the land around the house. The rows of Lambrusco grapes, cultivated using sustainable and biodynamic practices, reflect Emilia's winemaking heritage, while the garden and orchard follow the seasons, providing authentic and fresh produce. The overall project enhances biodiversity and preserves local agricultural knowledge, turning hospitality into a coherent extension of rural activity.

The interiors convey a sense of balance and harmony. Natural materials, warm colors, and carefully selected furnishings create an intimate and relaxing atmosphere. Some of the furniture comes from the original house and has been restored with care, while other pieces are crafted by local artisans. Every space is designed to encourage a slow hospitality experience, characterized by silence, natural light, and details that celebrate Emilia.

Outside, the garden flows seamlessly into the cultivated fields and offers various spots for relaxation: a pergola among the gardens, a gazebo overlooking the agricultural landscape, an inner courtyard, and green areas for enjoying the milder hours. The proximity to the WWF Oasis of Marmirolo enhances the experience, providing opportunities to observe a protected natural environment, perfect for those who enjoy walking and birdwatching.

Breakfast features homemade dishes and carefully selected organic products, in line with the establishment's philosophy. Guests can enjoy free private parking, fast Wi-Fi throughout the property, a spacious garden, and 22 kW charging stations for electric vehicles.

The rooms ensure comfort and quality of rest with selected linens, high-quality mattresses, and independent climate control. Each room is equipped with an air purification system, a private bathroom with a spacious walk-in shower, complimentary toiletries, a hairdryer, a flat-screen TV, and a minibar, ensuring a stay focused on wellness and tranquility.

Breakfast
Breakfast is a key aspect of the experience at Casa Tarabuso, embodying the agricultural philosophy that underpins the entire estate. Each morning, guests are offered a selection of organic products and homemade artisanal preparations, focusing on seasonal ingredients and raw materials sourced from the estate's garden and orchard or from trusted local producers.

Baked goods, fresh bread, jams, and both sweet and savory specialties change throughout the year, following the natural rhythm of the seasons. The emphasis on quality and freshness results in authentic flavors that tell the story of the region through simple yet carefully crafted recipes.

Served in a bright setting or, when the weather permits, outdoors overlooking the greenery, breakfast encourages a leisurely start to the day, surrounded by the tranquility of the Emilian countryside.

Everything was excellent, with the hosts' personal touch and exceptionally friendly service. The venue was fantastic, with great attention to detail. The tradition of regional viticulture and wine production is also honorably kept alive. Overall a very harmonious estate. We will gladly come back.

My family and I are full of impressions of Casa Tarabuso. We stayed for two nights in the Odilia and Padronale rooms. From the first communication, Marilena and Marcello left a positive impression on me. When we met them and saw Casa Tarabuso in person, we were delighted. The rooms are a beautiful blend of tradition, antique and modern furniture and details that made us say "aaaah" so many times. The materials, colour palette and many details are all carefully chosen and have their place. In addition, there are all the amenities of modern life: good wifi, excellent mattresses and pillows, a hot shower and even an elevator. The view through the windows over the beautiful large garden, the greenery, the singing birds and the peacefulness of the place left us speechless. We felt comfortable and welcome. Marilena and Marcello are people passionate about their region, Emilia, and its traditions, and that is felt and seen. The breakfast was truly Emilian, excellent and rich in salty and sweet delicacies such as freshly squeezed juice, Parmigiano Reggiano, prosciutto, erbazzone, excellent chocolate cake, homemade granola, homemade top-quality bread and homemade eggs, all served on fine china and handmade tablecloths. Everything was thought out down to the last detail and was not accidental. The owners have many plans for Casa Tarabuso; they are passionate and hardworking people. They produce biodynamic food and wine, love people and want to offer authentic Emilia to their guests. They are connected to the community and provide guests with information on where to eat and what to see and experience in the immediate area. I look forward to seeing how this beautiful B&B will look in the future. I definitely plan to come back and indulge myself in this place, in the garden with a book and a bottle of the excellent Lambrusco Dino they produce. If you want an authentic experience of this part of Italy, look no further and book now.
