Description

In a place where time seems to stand still, you can find the recently renovated bed and breakfast Bianconiglio. Situated in "località Bersani", this small hamlet is found in the quaint village of Gropparello in the green hills of Piacenza. It's situated just 5 minutes from Gropparello's Castle with it's "Parco delle Fiabe", an animated interactive park with live characters telling an enchanting story suitable for all the family. Nearby you can also explore the Roman archeological site of Veleja and visit various renowed castles of the area including, the Castle of Vigoleno and Castell'Arquato. It is within easy reach of the nearby town Piacenza and also Fidenza with it's outlet shopping village, Parma and Milan.

The Bianconiglio is in the typical local style and offers it's guests two comfortable double, room with bathroom. Outside there is a delightful stone patio area where guests can enjoy their plentiful breakfast in the peace and the quiet of the surrounding garden.

Ther is a kitchen in the house that guests can use if they prefer complete indipendence during the stay. (using on demand with an extra price).

Guests can use bicycles available at the B&B to explore the fascinating countryside. On request there is the possibility to visit the surroundings with an expert guide in cycling routes.

In the nearby main village there is an open air swimming pool and a beach volleyball court (in the summer months), a tennis court, shops selling local products, a bank and a post office. There's also the possibility to go horse riding at local stables.

We offer the classic "Italian breakfast" with coffee, milk, tea, biscuits and cakes, which is packaged or, on request, cooked by the owner with the best raw materials, alongside a proposal related to the products of the territory: homemade bread, the cup of near Piacenza and cheese dairy. Do not miss the fruit juices. Even the equipment is maintained and decorated with flowers, fruit and leaves the surrounding territory offers in different seasons.

An excellent experience at Bianconiglio in Gropparello (Bersani), in a truly characteristic village immersed in the peace of the Piacenza hills. The kindness of the host (Mrs. Michele Soldavini) is exquisite and despite the short time spent in the structure and the short notice of our reservation, it pleasantly surprised us. The offered breakfast is of great quality, with homemade cakes and pastry products. The room is in a building of a certain age but has all the comforts, as well as the bathroom. Experience absolutely to be repeated!

Two nights in this small and very cozy bed and breakfast. It's perfect for those looking for peace, a small town all decorated without even a bar. Very close to many places in Piacenza, such as Gropparello, so it's easy to move around to visit the area.

We stayed only one night at the Bianconiglio b&b and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend a weekend in a romantic room furnished like the countryside houses of the past in the middle of the hills. Ms. Mirella and her husband were very kind and attentive, excellent breakfast! We will definitely come back.

Beautiful Bed and Breakfast among the Piacenza Hills. Excellent breakfast with fresh products and delicious sweets prepared by the owner. Served in a small room in a garden. In a fairytale location in the Piacenza Apennines, Bersani, we spent an unforgettable week. We were welcomed, from the moment of booking, with the utmost availability in an atmosphere of great sympathy and familiarity! Mrs. Mila is attentive to the needs, which she manages to anticipate, of her guests and with her smiles and delicious cakes (not just those!) she immediately gains their trust, also with the help of her husband who makes truly exquisite bread! The structure, located in a fascinating setting, thanks especially to the fairy tale murals, is excellent and highly recommended for families with children. But even grandparents, like us, will appreciate a stay here! And who wouldn't like to immerse themselves for a while in Wonderland?

Mrs. Mila, exquisite, even left us the whole apartment, so we had the living room with TV and comfortable sofa at our disposal, kitchen corner with everything, from dishes, to herbal teas and tea, coffee, cereals, dried fruits, fridge stocked with yogurt, fresh milk and fruit, on the dining table bread that seemed, from the smell, just baked, 3-4 homemade cakes, each one better than the other, juices and more. Above two bedrooms, large bathroom equipped with everything, even good products, all furnished in Provencal style with flowers everywhere, everything very clean. We will come back in spring. Thank you Mila, we carry you in our hearts.

Structure located in a very quiet area just a few minutes from Gropparello Castle. Beautiful initiative of the fairy tale village. Very green area with almost non-existent traffic (excellent for those, like us, with young children). Varied and very abundant breakfast. Owners very helpful and welcoming.

The managers are wonderful people. The bed and breakfast is located inside the fairy tale village, about 3 km from Gropparello. Pay attention to the signs because the Municipality has put up invisible signs. It is a very suitable place for those with children and the breakfast is superb because it is homemade with jams, honey, and cakes coming from the skilled hands of the owner. Please note, it is not a grand hotel, they are old renovated farmhouses but if you think nature is important then you will also give everything a 10.

We stayed 1 night at the B&B Bianconiglio. We were a group of 20 people including many children. Very nice and welcoming location, really abundant breakfast with many cakes prepared by the lady of the B&B. Recommended.

Very abundant breakfast with delicious cakes and various local products (the homemade bread is spectacular, as well as the Piacenza honeys and cheeses), strategic location to visit all the ducal castles (the main ones are at most 50 km away, except for Compiano and Torrechiara in Langhirano), the view of the Piacenza hills is relaxing and quiet, plenty of conviviality and kindness from Mila, her husband, and their daughter, beautiful murals inspired by fairy tales and created by Piacenza artists that adorn Bersani di Gropparello continuously as well as all around the B&B, elegant and spacious rooms (I had booked a double room and found myself practically in a 4-room apartment). Ideal for those who want to spend time in total serenity, immersed in nature, in an almost timeless landscape. Excellent welcome from Mrs. Mila and her husband, the accommodation is very well taken care of in every detail. Breakfast is abundant and with genuine cakes. Highly recommended. Only note: to reach the place, the road is uphill with some hairpin turns. It's hard to think of taking bikes to ride around there.

We stayed only one night at Bianconiglio but we were really happy. The room was cozy and clean, Mrs. Mila and her husband were very kind and helpful. The abundance and variety of the breakfast offered should be emphasized, the homemade sweets and jams were really good. It's a shame, given the season, that we couldn't have breakfast in the beautifully renovated barn, it's really worth it. The location is also great if you want to visit Gropparello Castle, it's worth it.

Very pleasant, although unfortunately short, our visit among the hills of Piacenza was brightened by the stay at this property. Here nothing is left to chance, every detail - in the room and in the fantastic dining area where breakfast is served - is harmoniously integrated into the context. The wonderful breakfast, combined with the availability and extreme kindness of the managers, made our holiday unforgettable. A special thanks to Mrs. Milla for the bunny-shaped cake, cooked for my little one and for teaching me how to prepare rose sugar.

A truly fantastic place. We were there yesterday, I have already recommended it to several friends and I hope to find a reason to go back soon. The location is really beautiful; there are no big centers nearby, but the structure is on top of a beautiful hill. The rooms are simply stunning, meticulously cared for by Mrs. Mila, the bathroom is large and everything is perfectly clean. You sleep perfectly because the area is surrounded by greenery and without busy roads nearby. The breakfast prepared by the lady is a feast. Yesterday morning there were 3 homemade sweet cakes (made the night before), a savory cake, various types of cold cuts, cheeses, 4 types of honey, homemade biscuits, fruits, fruit juices, 4 types of jam (always homemade), a special rose sugar, puff pastry sachets with jam (always made the night before) and many other things. And apart from these material things, the most beautiful thing is to feel so welcomed by the lady and her husband (Gianni), with whom we pleasantly chatted on Saturday evening before going to sleep. Find a reason to go there immediately next weekend.

Wonderful stay among the Piacenza hills. The owners were very kind, always available and ready to give advice on places to see and places to eat. The breakfast was sublime, varied and very abundant. And who was hungry at lunch? I recommend visiting the castle of Gropparello, Castell'Arquato and Vigoleno.

I stayed with my two children aged six and seven for an event at the Gropparello Castle. The location of the Bianconiglio is convenient as it is very close to the castle and in a panoramic position. We found a real apartment all for ourselves, a comfortable and quiet room, a bathroom with a bathtub where my children took a bath just like at home, and a living room with a kitchen. The very kind and attentive lady prepared a very appreciated gift for the children, and the breakfast was the best ever. I have traveled a lot to luxurious and starred places, but here the breakfast was unbeatable because it was thought out and cared for. Homemade jams, fresh bread, cold cuts, and a selection of cheeses with honey, Halloween sweets for the occasion, a grand apple pie, and a cake made especially for the children in the shape of Bianconiglio. You can really feel that the lady has a passion for managing this delightful Bianconiglio, and we felt at home. The only thing is that cards and ATM are not accepted, so you need to have cash. We will definitely return. When asked what my children liked most about the whole weekend, the answer was: the Bianconiglio. Excellent hospitality, also because the Bianconiglio is all exclusive. Highly recommended, it stays in the heart.

It was a wonderful stay. The location where the Bianconiglio is situated is very quiet, the weather is excellent and the hospitality is perfect. The atmosphere is very family-like and from the small garden in front of the Bianconiglio, the view of Gropparello and the valley is relaxing and very pleasant. The breakfast is served spectacularly, the managers are extremely kind and helpful, and the beds are very comfortable. I recommend it to everyone, families, couples, and singles. We will definitely return.

I lived a fairy tale: thanks to the hospitality of the managers and the welcome received from Mrs. Mila, I was able to experience an enchanting stay in the Piacenza hills. Excellent comfort and cleanliness, spectacular breakfast, I would dare say almost a little lunch, with local products and homemade sweets and jams made by Mrs. Mila. Certainly a stay to remember with great pleasure.

The B&B is quite isolated, in a hamlet that is far to reach, fortunately through beautiful streets immersed in nature. The total silence in which it is immersed is incredibly relaxing. The structure is very clean and very well-kept. The house has low ceilings but very characteristic, and the two available rooms are both jewels. Breakfast is prepared in a separate structure, a perfectly restored barn, and it is very abundant, as well as of great quality. The homemade fig tart and the plate of coppa piacentina were truly finger-licking good. I recommend it without any doubt, an unmissable corner of peace.
