Description

A bit home, a bit hotel, is our new frontier of hospitality in style, courtesy, and quality: carefully furnished rooms and accommodations, paying attention to details, combining the atmosphere of home with the convenience of a hotel, all while respecting privacy and ensuring complete autonomy.

Bed in Bo San Carlo is our new fourth establishment in the center of Bologna, located just inside the historic center between Via Marconi and Via Dell'Indipendenza. It can be reached on foot from the central station, and in a few minutes, you can also reach Piazza Maggiore.

BED in BO San Carlo is completely "smart": payment and document submission are operations that can be done in advance online, after which you will receive an access code to enter independently without any time constraints or delays in check-in.

The two entrances are located on the ground floor with direct access from a small private road. All rooms have windows, and the bathroom is always private and internal, as in all BED in BO rooms. In the stylishly decorated rooms, you will find the following comforts: Smart TV, fiber optic wifi internet, mini fridge, coffee and tea corner with biscuits, hairdryer, underfloor heating, and independent air conditioning control.

Daily cleaning is provided, and the bedding is changed every 3 days.

The following services are available for an additional fee:
- Camping crib for children.

I am Serena, an architect, and I have been a professional host since 2011, when my brother and I opened the first B&B in Bologna.

The motto of my company has always been "A Little Home, A Little Hotel" to offer our guests the warmth and hospitality of a home with professional service, comfortable environments with a unique style, and a cozy atmosphere.

Since over the years I have managed to open several small accommodations, I am not always present and rarely meet my guests, but I am always available in case of need and I do my best, along with my team, to make their stays perfect!

Clean and comfortable room, but the terrible smell in the bathroom was a problem. The ground floor location near the street makes the place noisy and often disturbs sleep.

Very clean, tidy structure, close to the center good value for money. If I had to go back, I would not hesitate to book again. Mrs. Serena was very kind, both on the phone and upon arrival.

Pros: Convenient location, supermarket nearby, close to attractions, clean room and bed overall. Also room cleaning everyday is a plus. Cons: The only downside I would say is the noise. As the room is at the ground floor, you could easily hear people on the street talking loudly, or when the trucks are clearing trash in midnight. Walls probably not very soundproofed that you would hear people in the next room talking at night. I'm not a light sleeper but I had to get earplugs after one night of bad sleep. Also communication could be better with the host. As I booked and received the confirmation via bedandbreakfast platform, I wrote to inform about arriving in the evening and enquire about the check-in process. I did not get any replies even the day before I arrive, and had to try writing to their email, website contact etc. until I found their WhatsApp number and managed to contact them eventually. It would have eased my concern if they could have been more responsive to their inbox messages. As I had worried for days If my booking was valid /legit.

New structure, we had only one small problem to access the room but solved in 10 minutes. The kitchen area was missing the sink and the wall bordering the adjacent room could be better soundproofed. Attention to small details (water in the fridge, coffee pods, chocolates, and cookies). They redid the room for me on the second day and I didn't expect it! The host is always reachable by phone and very helpful.

Impeccable cleanliness, modern furnishings, comfortable spaces. The only downside is that it's not soundproofed; unfortunately, we could hear the noises from the next room at night, and in the morning at 5 am, the shouts of the Indian guests in the next room were unpleasant. In short, we didn't get a wink of sleep.

We stayed for 4 days in this brand new facility. Courtesy and kindness of the Bed In Bo San Carlo manager. Located a stone's throw from the city center, top daily cleanliness and even though breakfast is not provided, there is a fridge and coffee machine (with pods and biscuits) in the facility. Perfect bathroom, it felt like being at home, with all the necessary comforts. Thank you very much. Great experience, Salvatore and Anna Rita.

I can't give ratings except for seriousness, availability, and kindness. Due to flooding, we couldn't go to Bologna. We were followed and informed step by step by the manager. In the end, we were able to cancel the trip without losing the reservation money even though a refund was not expected. We will definitely come back.

Very beautiful and brand new room, from which you can reach both the station and the city center on foot in a few minutes. The room is very clean and equipped with all the necessary comforts for a short stay in the city. The host is very helpful from the start in providing all the necessary information.
