Podere Sassarello is conveniently located minutes from the well known thermal baths resort Castel San Pietro Terme, where you can indulge in wellbeing and relaxation; it’s only a few kilometres from the local main routes Via Emilia and A14 motorway. Bologna and Imola, home of the Italian Grand Prix F1 circuit, can be reached in less than 20 minutes; Florence, Ferrara, Modena and Ravenna in about an hour. Nearby are also the spa centre “Villaggio della Salute Piu’”, the 18 hole “Le Fonti” golf course, and many sports centres with swimming pools and tennis courts. Foodies and wine lovers are spoilt for choice: from the Enoteca Regionale dell”Emilia Romagna in the medieval castle at Dozza to the many small food and wine producers of the local Colli Imolesi wine region. My name is Tersilla Gardenghi and I love art.
I began my career as an illustrator right after completing the Anatomical Drawing program at the University of Bologna.
In my B&B, you will find artworks, drawings, and sculptures created by my family. The shelves and walls are filled with colors, jars, and all the materials for restoration and decoration.
For several years, I have left the profession of illustrator to dedicate myself full-time to teaching techniques of ancient arts, airbrushing, and gilding. I offer courses on these subjects and all my students can stay at my B&B.
Of course, all guests are welcome and courtesy and availability are the foundation of this work.

Beautiful place, very kind hostess makes you feel at home, very clean and comfortable rooms, very good breakfast with homemade pies. We had a great time, went for Vasco Rossi's concert.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo delizioso B&B per la sua vicinanza a Bologna (circa mezz'ora d'auto), ma abbiamo comunque goduto dell'ospitalità della signora Silla, dell'atmosfera familiare di una casa piena di vita e di storia, di uno splendido panorama sia di giorno che di sera, le luci della pianura e quelle del cielo stellato.
Aria pulita e assenza di inquinamento chimico o elettromagnetico per chi è sensibile o intollerante ad essi.

Il posto è a dir poco favoloso, i proprietari simpaticissimi e veramente molto accoglienti.
La camera molto grande ed accogliente con tutti i servizi del caso, colazione abbondante con cibarie anche fatte in casa molto gustose e sfiziose.
Il casolare immerso nel verde è fantastico, sicuramente adatto anche per passare una giornata primaverile in tranquillità, lontano da tutto e da tutti.

Veramente un bel posto casa nella campagna su una collina con vista a 360 gradi sulla pianura emiliana.
Casa pulita per l'ospitalità é disponibile un bellissimo appartamento con volendo stanze doppie con bagno e una cucina molto carina dove viene preparata la prima colazione.
Il signor Paolo padrone di casa é cortese e proprio felice ed orgoglioso di rendere ospitale la sua casa per gli ospiti.
Proprio piacevole arrivare in un posto sconosciuto ed essere accolti come da amici.
Siamo stati solo una notte ma da vero ci è spiaciuto andar via e non poter chicchierare ancora con Paolo e la sua memoria storica.
