B&B Mulini Venturi

Saludecio, located 20 minutes away from Cattolica, is a medieval village surrounded by the Malatesta walls that stands out on a ridge as you drive a few kilometers from the sea up the Conca Valley. Through the ancient Porta Marina, you can enter the main square of the village where the Town Hall with the Municipal Theatre, the Elm of Beato Amato and the Parish Church of San Biagio are located, featuring important eighteenth-century architecture. This is the most important sacred building in the valley, also known as the Sanctuary of Beato Amato Ronconi, a thirteenth-century Franciscan sainted by the Pope in 2014 and the first to complete the pilgrimage to Santiago de Compostela. The adjoining Museum of Sacred Art is of exceptional documentary and artistic value, collecting a rich heritage of votive offerings, furnishings, clothes, furnishings and paintings (Cagnacci, Ridolfi, Centino, etc.). Along the main street, there are elegant nineteenth-century palaces, particularly the Albini Palace with its sixteenth-century courtyard and well, and the Civic Tower (fourteenth century). In the upper part, there is the Convent with the adjoining Church of the Gerolomini (seventeenth century) and, crossing the medieval Porta Montanara, the Garden of Scents, which is enhanced during the "SalusErbe", a spring event dedicated to herbalism and the environment. Finally, do not miss the path through the alleys to discover the colorful and characteristic Murals dedicated to the inventions of the nineteenth century. The summer event, the "Ottocento Festival," is dedicated to this century, presenting evening events that recall the life and customs of the nineteenth century with exhibitions, shows, and typical food. In the surrounding area, there are the castles of Meleto and Cerreto, ancient medieval villages. Saludecio can be reached by taking the A14 Bologna-Ancona motorway, both from the north and south, and exiting at Cattolica. Outside the motorway exit, turn left towards the hinterland, follow the signs to the Pianventena fraction, and turn left again following the indications for Saludecio. To reach the B&B Mulini Venturi, you have to pass the village of San Rocco and take the direction of Meleto, which is 12 km from the sea (Riccione/Cattolica). The distance from the motorway exit is about 12 km. The B&B Mulini Venturi is an ancient stone mill very close to Urbino, Gradara, San Marino, Ravenna, Cattolica Aquarium and the theme parks of the Riviera. The medieval villages of Saludecio, Mondaino, Montegridolfo, and Montefiore are the most beautiful in Romagna.
