L. G. - B&B - BED and BREAKFAST
Our hotel offers TWO distinct and separate ACCOMMODATION SOLUTIONS:
one in Bed & Breakfast and one in guest house.

This two solutions are in the same residential building but IN SEPARATE and DISTINCT APARTMENTS, each with its own main entrance with key unrestricted delivery.

It is located in the area of San Donato near disctrict fair (FIERA DISTRICT), the CITY CENTRE and S. ORSOLA/MALPIGHI HOSPYTAL, FICO Eataly World.

Many buses (the bus stops are in front of our B&B) in a few minutes, will take you at district fair and City Center.

BUS LINES:
CITY CENTER: Bus n° 20 - reachable in 15 minutes by bus-10 with car.

FAIR DISTRICT: Bus n° 35 - 18 minutes away by Bus - 5 with car.

S. ORSOLA HOSPYTAL: Bus n° 14/c - just 18 minutes by bus-10 car, continuing to the historic center.

ST. RUFILLUS: Bus n° 55 - Stazione FS on colli Bolognesi.

Hi everyone, my name is - Luciano - and I’m the owner and Manager of the family run - L G- Bed an Breakfast and Rooms to Rent - accommodations.

I’m middle-aged, happily married, and I have a lovely daughter, a promising future engineer, called Silvia who is helping me with English.

I’m running the - LG B&B and Rooms to Rent accommodations - since 1992, That is 21 years.

During these 21 years, in the L: G B&B have housed thousands of guests, and with some of them, still faithful over time, I have established a relationship of friendship and esteem of which I am very proud.

This because the sincere and friendly loyalty from the clients, is the best award to my management, besides the fact that to me they become important as if they were part of the family.

I am a quite rational and reserved person, and this makes me seem a little bit too serious, nevertheless I have a good sense of humour.

I’m family-loving, I have a good notions of electronic and mechanical techniques.

I’m good at handicraft and I have the hobby of gardening.

I'm a little fussy about cleaning, thing that guests seem to appreciate,. and I like precision in details.

All this can be useful for the management of the accommodations.

I love cooking, but unfortunately I’m not a sportsman, and my look shows it all.

So I try to lose weight taking care of the 4000 meters garden located near the property and in use of the B&B.

To the gardening I add the pleasure of a run in the nearby beautiful Botanical Park ARBORETO (arboretum) and, sometime, I even have a dip in the swimming pool of the RECORD Sport Centre where there are many sport equipped spaces, including 9 tennis courts, and which is just a few steps away from the B&B.

ARBORETO and RECORD SPORT CENTRE are two places where even the B&B guests love to go

Unsuitable for a couple, suitable for passing-through young people. Inconvenient for reaching the city center, but above all the heating was partially off in the early onset of winter. The owner said it was a building-wide problem; okay, but if he hosts guests and charges a not insignificant amount, he should at least have provided portable heaters. In the bathroom there was one, but without a proximity sensor, so it was off and out of reach because it was placed on a very, very high shelf; visually present but useless. Pros: breakfast and the possibility to have a hot herbal tea with the thermos available in the lounge.

Luciano is a courteous and available manager, a person from another time, always ready to make his guests comfortable. The structure is ideal for those with no excessive demands. Excellent quality/price ratio. A bit far from the center but well connected, the shared bathroom is the only compromise that Luciano solved for us by providing the apartment since we were 4. The breakfast is good, the structure is clean, a bit dated but still lacks nothing. We will return if Luciano does not give up. Thank you!

Great value for money, discreet and kind manager. The cleanliness is excellent. Located in a non-central area but close to convention centers and fairs, well connected by public transport, both to the center and to the station, the bus stop is just a few meters from the property. The only downside is the somewhat outdated furniture, but it is still functional and the mattress is very comfortable. Quiet area.

I stayed at the B&B L. G. for a week while I was looking for a house here in Bologna. I had a great time: the manager is very kind and adapted to my needs without any problems. The stay was excellent, even considering that there were days when I stayed home for a long time. Although it is a bit off-center, the bus stops are very close, which makes it easy to reach and visit Bologna.

The structure is in a good location, economical, but that does not mean finding stained sheets, which may have also been clean. Seeing a stain on the sheet where one has to sleep is not pleasant at all. Breakfast at the manager's house is also a no.

We stayed for two nights. The property was average, clean. However, we would like to point out the behavior of the manager. When we asked for breakfast at 9 (since we were on vacation and didn't have a particular need to leave early), we were told that breakfast was between 7:30 and 8:30. We adapted, the first morning was fine, the second we were 10 minutes late and found the manager quite irritated as he had already closed the kitchen and left saying he had another commitment. On the table, he left us a croissant and two slices of cake, all leftovers from previous days, without even setting the cups! We used the tea cups from the tea bags and made the tea ourselves. Very tacky! We are familiar with the world of B&Bs that we use for our stays and we had never experienced something like this before! Since hospitality is offered, it is the managers who should adapt to the guests and not the other way around. If, as in this case, one wants to manage multiple properties simultaneously, one must have the organization to do so, otherwise, a change of profession is needed. Very incorrect, especially considering that we had paid in advance.
