The Dolce Vita Bed and Breakfast in Bologna is a welcoming B&B in the center of Bologna, perfect for those who want to reach the city by train and for those who, once they reach the structure, want to walk around the heart of Bologna on foot. The wonderful Piazza Maggiore and its Quadrilatero are only 900m away from the B&B on foot.
The structure was born inside a very precious historic Bolognese building, on the third floor with lift. The welcome is familiar, the rooms are large, equipped with all the main comforts, fridge, wifi and have bright colors. For those who decide to reach us by car, it is important to know that we are in the ZTL area but we have a paid parking facility just 50 meters away, in this case you can contact us and we will give you all the necessary information.

We serve breakfast in individual portions and packaged according to the regulations that require it.
Breakfast is served from 7:30 to 9:30 and on the buffet you will find:
Jams, Nutella, honey, fruit, fruit salad, packaged croissants, biscuits, white bread, cold cuts, yogurt, fruit juice, milk, and coffee.

We are Lella and Giorgia, mother and daughter, from Bologna and for 20 years in the hospitality sector. We opened the Dolce Vita in 2003, and with a lot of patience and dedication we have tried every day to improve the structure from every point of view. Lella is a smoker so we have dedicated a terrace in every room to people with this passion.
We have a 12-year-old dog (Milù) in the structure, dogs are welcome as long as they are small and always asking first when booking.
We wanted to leave the choice of breakfast to the guests, over time we have noticed that customers prefer to spend a little less and go to breakfast in the many bars and pastry shops that surround us, so we have created 2 separate packages, WITH or WITHOUT BREAKFAST.
Inside the structure you will find an information point where we have had personalized maps printed for you guests, and we are always at your disposal for any suggestions. What can I say..We are waiting for you in our wonderful Bologna!!! LELLA and GIORGIA.

The structure is only 800 meters from the train station, 5 minutes on foot from Piazza Maggiore, the quadrilateral, Piazza Santo Stefano and the University area can be reached in 10 minutes. Adjacent to the b&b there are 2 supermarkets, a pharmacy, a tobacconist and two banks. We are on the second most famous street in Bologna, Via Guglielmo Marconi, from there all the buses leave for the main destinations and hospitals such as Rizzoli, Maggiore or Sant'Orsola.

Having initially booked for two, we had a private bathroom, later the owner (very kind) added a third person forgetting to inform us that the bathroom would be shared with them (a surprise!) considering that we had to pass through the corridor anyway to go take a shower. Too bad, in any case, they were kind and the location is great. I would reconsider the entire apartment itself and the rental method.
