Description

Our B&B is located just 1.5 km from Fontanellato, a place famous for its stunning medieval fortress surrounded by a moat, where sporting fishing competitions are often held. The town is also home to an impressive sanctuary that attracts many pilgrims.

Our house is situated in the countryside in a green and peaceful area, yet very close to the highway (about 15 minutes), the Fidenza outlet, and just a short walk away is a bus stop to Parma for those without a car.

From our B&B, you can also visit nearly all the Castles of the Duchy within an hour at most.

Just 50 meters away, there is a traditional restaurant with reasonable prices and a pizzeria that also serves excellent fish dishes. Both are within walking distance.

For honey enthusiasts and to provide a different and educational experience for your children, we offer the chance to visit our beehive.

Two kilometers away is the Cardinal Ferrari hospital, an important center for cranial trauma patients.

Upon request, you can also visit and observe the production of Parmigiano Reggiano for a fee of €20 per person (children excluded).

We had a very positive experience staying with Simona and Ricky! Communication over our last minute booking was easy via WhatsApp and their welcoming was super friendly! We could put our bikes safe and dry in the garage. The room is very clean and cosy. Cherry on top was the amazing breakfast and, as it was my birthday that day, they showed up with a cake with candles! What a great way to start the day! Thanks again, Simona and Ricky, it was really fun to meet you!

Great structure managed very well by a nice and helpful couple (Mr. Riccardo accompanied us to buy typical products). Only small flaw: air conditioning is missing, but with a fan we were quite comfortable.

The structure is located in a strategic point, a stone's throw from Fontanellato, 20 minutes from Parma and the Ducato castles, and 6 minutes from the Labirinto della Masone. The welcome is exquisite and you feel at home. Excellent breakfast and comfort in the room. Very comfortable bed and I could choose between a firmer pillow and a softer one. B&B Latte Miele is in the countryside, fabulous for those looking for peace, tranquility, and silence. It was a truly unforgettable stay.

During the Easter weekend, we stayed at this B&B Latte Miele located in the TomTom, it is advisable to set "Paroletta" as the destination, only 5 minutes from the center of Fontanella, while in less than 10 minutes you can reach the Labirinto della Masone, Soragna or Fidenza Village. As soon as we arrived, we understood that we were in a place where we would feel good. The house is beautiful and well-kept. The place is quiet, airy, very clean and fragrant. The room, the bathroom, and the breakfast room are large and tastefully furnished. The independent access is a welcome added value. To Mrs. Simona and Mr. Riccardo - who welcomed us warmly and with availability - we asked for advice for our visits and their suggestions were very helpful. A special mention goes to the breakfast, absolutely superb, all the products (various types of bread, jams, various types of cakes, honey, eggs, etc.) are prepared by Simona with a perfectionist care and a quality that surprised and pleased us.

We stayed here over the weekend and Easter. We could not have hoped for a warmer welcome! We immediately felt at home in a comfortable and relaxing environment. The room and bathroom are spacious and spotlessly clean, equipped with every comfort, with a private entrance to the garden. The breakfast deserves a special mention: everything homemade, from bread to jams to cakes (and own-produced honey). The only regret: only staying for two days! PS: do not enter Fontanellato on the navigator, otherwise it will take you to the town center, but Paroletta.

Peccato solo vi siate fermati poco e non abbiate avuto la possibilità di visitare i Luoghi Verdiani, i Castelli del Ducato e anche la nuova attrazione di Fontanellato: Il Labirinto della Masone di Franco Maria Ricci e il favoloso Museo Annesso. luoghi tutti raggiungibili in 30 minuti circa. Quiet and easily accessible place. Very friendly hosts: you feel like family. The typical tranquillity of the countryside reigns. It is a welcoming place, very clean, and you have a really healthy, abundant, and varied breakfast ranging from savory to sweet. For the price, the quality is excellent. You can buy excellent honey produced by them. For those who do not intend to drive in the evening, it is a few steps from a restaurant where you can enjoy local specialties at moderate prices. The location of the B&B allows you to easily reach all the attractions, art, and shopping places in the province of Parma.

Great stay in the silence of the countryside. Very kind and very nice managers; it seemed like I've known them forever. The rooms are very welcoming and furnished with beautiful furniture. Large and comfortable bed, spacious and complete bathroom. Breakfast is a triumph of good things made by the very kind lady. We still want to thank them and say "See you soon!" (at least we hope so!).

Very pleasant vacation to which the managers contributed with their cheerfulness, friendliness and generosity. The premises were always clean and there were abundant breakfasts with excellent bread, pastries, jams and homemade honey, prepared by Simona. Great availability to provide us with information about their territory. Great Riccardo and Simona. We stayed with them and it felt like visiting friends or relatives. Excellent structure, we paid very little for a room that turned out to be a well-kept apartment with a kitchen, a huge shower box, and a wonderful garden. Wonderful people who, with their courtesy and discretion, made everything even more enjoyable. Very clean apartment and spectacular breakfast with products entirely made by them. They also sent us to restaurants they knew and gifted us excellent honey made by Riccardo. In short, what else can I say? If you pass through Fontanellato, you must absolutely stop at the B&B Latte Miele, and I guarantee you will have a great time. Truly well done, congratulations.

Peaceful location in the countryside. A warm welcome from our hosts Simona and Riccardo. This is the place if you want to taste the food of the Parma area. Breakfast on homemade bread, jams and honey, with new laid egg and home cured ham, locally produced salamis, and cheeses. This makes an excellent base for visiting the Emilia Romagna region with its rich history and gastronomic delights. We were passing through but we will be back.

Wanting to visit the Verdian lands, my husband and I chose to stay for two nights at the “B&B Latte Miele” in Fontanellato. I had made the reservation on the “Bed and Breakfast” website considering the opinions that others had left and the cost. We were really happy with everything, the quality-price ratio is excellent, the people are exquisite and helpful, the breakfasts are abundant and excellent, based on homemade products from Mrs. Simona. The room is large, beautiful and clean, equipped with a private bathroom with a nice and comfortable shower and a kitchen living room where breakfast is served. In short, it was a positive experience that we would like to repeat. Thanks to Simona and Riccardo.
