This is the first time I see a b&b owner forbid us access to the kitchen: Marco opened the kitchen in the morning to prepare us a purely industrial breakfast, then he stayed in the kitchen to watch us while we ate and at 9:30 we had to finish eating so that he could lock the kitchen! We couldn't even get hot water to make ourselves a herbal tea during the day! In short! An address to forget and not to recommend.

Come Le ho spiegato il B&B ha l'obbligo di servire prodotti confezionati, io oltre a... yogurt, succo, dolcetto, nutelline, marmellate, burro, biscotti, pane, fette biscottate...ho aggiunto macedonia o frutta fresca e uova sode e mi sembrava fosse stato gradito. Non è vero che la colazione doveva terminare alle h. 09, 30, la prima mattina, Le avevo anticipato che per problemi personali avrei dovuto lasciare l'appartamento per quell'ora, la mattina successiva avete terminato la colazione ben oltre le h. 10, 00, per me nessun problema. Non resto in cucina per sorvegliare, sono a disposizione per eventuali richieste, è una cortesia. It was a pleasant stay. The only major flaw was the bed. The mattress was really uncomfortable, we woke up several times during the night. Other than that, the breakfast was plentiful and the owner was nice.

It was the best B&B accommodation in Italy that I had. I honestly recommend this place. Everything was clean and neat. The best Italian coffee for breakfast. And the host Marco was the most helpful and kind person that I met.

I stayed at the B&B Vista Luca for the second consecutive year on the same occasion and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to feel at home, with Mr. Marco who is attentive to all needs and precise in the smallest details, eager to recreate a welcoming and very familiar environment. The manager is extremely courteous, welcoming, and helpful. The rooms are very bright with access to a balcony overlooking the main streets, the bathroom is also very clean, and the breakfast was more than satisfying. I stayed at this B&B Vista Luca in a great location, both for its proximity to the train station and for reaching the city center on foot. Spacious and very clean room! Marco welcomed us to his B&B, providing us with various tips and useful information for our stay. Highly recommended property!

Made the mistake of booking this due to high review ratings on other site. Worst experience yet. Met by Marco outside apartment block and had to show him the cash before allowed even inside. The whole apartment was so dated, like stepping back to 70s. Felt like DSS or emergency accommodation, basic. Orange was the whole theme, from towels, bedding, voile, walls - everything. Towels were thin, old, over washed cheap and orange, smelling of food. Bedding was same, though everything was very clean. Private bathroom was right across other side of large hallway, so meant had to go across communal area, so needed to be dressed etc. Kitchen was locked, so couldn't even boil a kettle, make a drink, get any plate or cutlery. Old fridge in room, set at lowest which buzzed throughout night. Left 'complimentary' bottle of water with to disposable plastic cups. All furniture dated, cheap and random. No welcome just given what wasn't allowed and emphasis on security, making you uneasy. Asked what time breakfast we'd like, so said 9am, which he told us we had to leave at 10am, so we said 8. 30am then. Upon checking website, 10. 30am was checkout. After returning to room, absolutely boiling so had to WhatsApp Marco about WiFi and air con. Noticed WiFi code on wall but Marco appeared at room to tell us that despite listed as having AC, it wasn't included in price?! Final straw, so after a pointless dialogue of us both just repeating the same statements back and forth 4 times, I said I thought it better if we have our money back and leave. At this, he then said he'd let us have controls but only if promised not to leave on when out. Willingly agreed, so he turned on (lowest setting at 21°) and begrudgingly handed over the controls. Attended breakfast asap as just wanted to leave. Highly rated breakfast consisted of 6 slices of bread, crackerbread, sachets of butter, jam, plain yoghurt and 4 biscuits, with glass of cheap orange juice and small cup of fresh coffee. As we left the kitchen, 2 other lodgers obviously had been waiting for us to leave and were cautiously leaving their room. Quickly left and immediately booked into a hotel for some much needed luxury! So disappointed as wanted to try a more friendly, personal Italian experience of enjoying small, highly rated b&b. Just awful. We are middle aged couple, who have travelled extensively and in no way snobs or fussy! I honestly don't know where the other reviewers stayed or what they are used to!

Very nice room with balcony and private bathroom. Close to all the sights and the train station. Safe area. Extremely friendly host. Good breakfast. If you are sensitive to noise, it is advisable to keep the window closed at night. In summary, highly recommended.

Clean and welcoming structure, with a single room equipped with a private bathroom and two others with a shared bathroom; special in many aspects like the kitchen because it is familiar, like being at home. The manager was helpful without being intrusive. Close to the train station and the historic center of Bologna without being overwhelmed by chaos and people. I will definitely want to come back in the future. Highly recommended.

Clean and welcoming room. Excellent base for visiting the center of Bologna on foot. The owner is kind and helpful. She provided us with a parking space, which is not insignificant given the cost of parking. I highly recommend it.

We had a great time, Mr. Marco, a very kind and friendly person, was very helpful. We definitely recommend it for a good stay in Bologna. The historic center is within walking distance in no time.

I stayed at the B&B Vista Luca for two nights in the single room with private bathroom. The room is much nicer than in the pictures and everything is more than clean. Mr. Marco is very helpful and kind. The location is good, a few steps from the train station and also from the city center. I had a great experience and I recommend the B&B to anyone looking for a simple, comfortable, and welcoming place to stay in Bologna.

The structure has a location that allows you to reach public transport and the city center quickly. The interiors are well-kept and very comfortable, the view is impressive. The management by Mr. Marco is impeccable as he proves to be very helpful and kind without being intrusive. In conclusion, I highly recommend it.

The B&B Vista Luca represents a truly excellent example of hospitality. Mr. Squeri is a delightful, courteous, discreet, attentive person. The stay was extremely pleasant. The care and tranquility of the environment impact the serenity of those who reside there. I will certainly recommend B&B Vista Luca to the people I care about.

Marco Squeri is a gentleman. His property reflects this fact. Everything is designed with attention to detail to make the stay as pleasant as possible. I was there during a very difficult period for the city of Bologna, the Cosmoprof 2016, and this B&B Vista Luca was a revelation: location, connections, breakfast, private bathroom, private fridge and washing machine, complete welcome and support, quality/price ratio. Everything leads me to recommend it and include it in my company's strategic contacts.
