Description
This is an ancient tower house from the 17th century located in Torre. It has recently been renovated with high architectural and environmental standards and is surrounded by 4000 square meters of lush green gardens. The interior is decorated with antique or rustic furniture and has been carefully maintained by the owners.
The property is spread over three floors and offers six beds in three bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite bathroom and a second bathroom. Guests can enjoy breakfast, use of a large dining room, living room, garden, and private parking.
Valferrara is surrounded by a hilly landscape of exceptional natural beauty, with views of the vast Carpineti valley, the ridge, and the ancient Matildic Castle. This quiet and relaxing environment is located below the village of Pantano, just 4 km from Carpineti and Casina, where markets, supermarkets, libraries, swimming pools, and sports centers are located.
During the summer season, these two municipalities organize various cultural, musical, and folk events for tourists. The area is also rich in restaurants, pizzerias, and cafes where you can enjoy good Emilian cuisine.
Upon request, we can organize guided tours in English or French for foreign tourists to the cities of Lucca and Parma, as well as local walks of botanical, historical, and architectural interest to discover ancient villages, tower houses, churches, and monasteries.
The famous Castles of Canossa and Carpineti are part of a European historical and cultural heritage and testify to the rich history and cultural life of this region, which is still waiting to be discovered.

Ancient residence finely renovated and furnished. Very clean and welcoming. The hospitality of Mrs. Cosetta turned out to be exceptional. Very attentive and meticulous, she pampered us for two days. The breakfast was nothing short of spectacular. A beautiful experience.

Cosetta is a lovely, helpful, and warm-hearted hostess. The breakfast, served outdoors, is excellent. Sweet, savory, warm, and fruit - it's all there and arranged with love. The rooms are very pretty. Just what you need to relax in the countryside.

Nice structure and the owner is very kind. Price a bit high but when everything is perfect, you don't look at the €20.00 difference.

We were looking for a special place to unwind and we found it here. It's a beautiful place surrounded by greenery. The B&B Valferrara is very well-kept and clean. The breakfast is great, you can bring your pets. Finally, the lady who runs it made us feel at home. We will come back whenever possible.

La camera che avevo scelto era veramente bellissima (e molto pulita) e la colazione che mi è stata preparata nel giardino era perfetta (macedonia, brioches, torta alle mele appena sfornata, pane e marmellata, succo di frutta). Con la signora Cosetta abbiamo fatto delle chiacchiere molto piacevoli, una perfetta padrona di casa.
