Description

The IRIS B&B is located in a strategic position of the city, just 250m from the Policlinico and less than 1km from the Historic Center. In a quiet and residential area, with the possibility of convenient parking and the bus stop just 100m away, it offers numerous services nearby, such as take-away pizzerias, restaurants, and shops.

Less than 2km from the University Campus, Hesperia Hospital, museums, Piazza del Duomo, and the Ducal Palace (home to the Military Academy).

Completely renovated in 2016, the B&B retains its original character. Cozy and comfortable, with an independent entrance and a small private garden.

It has three spacious rooms, 2 doubles (with the possibility of a third bed) and 1 single.

We serve breakfast in the cozy interior room in the morning. You can come back at any time during the evening.

Room with dated furniture that I like a lot, like my grandmother's room. Comfortable bed, everything clean. The only drawback for those who love a traditional bidet is that it was replaced by a hand shower on the toilet, which I personally hate. Otherwise everything is ok, the host is friendly and kind. I would come back if I had to return to Modena.

I was in Modena alone for a procedure at the hospital, so I needed a place to stay before and after the operation. It was perfect: the small room with a bathroom was comfortable and clean. The location was ideal due to its proximity to the hospital. The value for money was excellent, but the kindness and courtesy of the owners are priceless. I was truly satisfied and I recommend it.

Convenient location if you need to go to the Policlinic (10 minutes on foot). In 20-25 minutes you are in the city center. Easy parking. Friendly and helpful manager. Clean rooms even if a bit old-fashioned.

We were welcomed very warmly, the area is very quiet despite the proximity of Via Emilia, there are all the comforts needed. We did not have breakfast, as we had to go to the hospital for admission, but coffee was still offered very kindly. The breakfast room has everything, well organized and clean. The library and the collection of vintage Mickey Mouse comics, available to guests, are to be appreciated.

I stayed on Christmas night, the spacious room and the large shower bathroom made me feel at home. The perfect temperature of the double room allowed me to rest in total relaxation. Marco, who welcomed me and prepared breakfast, is an impeccable host: a person who knows how to host in a B&B. Highly recommended, especially if you arrive in Modena by car, near the B&B you can park comfortably. The WiFi is the cherry on top. If there will be an opportunity, I will definitely return to Iris B&B.

The room is modest, with old furniture. In particular, the shutter doesn't go up because it's too old and the curved wood doesn't make it rise. Therefore, in the room it's necessary to keep the light on. The beds are quite uncomfortable, with old mattresses, although the sheets and towels are clean.

Reception from ten and praise, the owner Marco seems like I've known him for years for his availability, courtesy, sympathy, and professionalism, the rooms are perfect and cared for in every detail, regarding cleanliness they are maniacal it seems like the scientific police has passed through, the breakfasts are plentiful and Marco makes the buffet available to guests even during the day for those who feel like it all for free water included the fridge is available to guests. I returned to Modena after many years away due to my son's enrollment at the Unimore university.\n\nDue to the philosophy festival in that period and many structures already fully booked, I booked (upon the suggestion of an acquaintance) at the B&B Iris.\n\nObjectively, I trusted because I didn't know the structure, but it was strategically positioned for my needs.\n\nI didn't hesitate to make the reservation, and today I say that a better choice could not have been made even if by chance. The relationship with the owners was wonderful from the start.\n\nI returned after two weeks, and this time it was not by chance that brought me to B&B Iris, but the awareness of going to a clean place, dealing with hospitable, polite, discreet, helpful, generous, human, and excellent level people, even more. Marco and Barbara have dedication and passion for this activity, and it shows in how they dedicate themselves to their guests. Yes, because it's just like that, at B&B Iris, it will be like being at home. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, the cleanliness entrusted to Carla is always impeccable, the rooms always smell clean.\n\nThe breakfast, more than generous and complete.\n\nIn short, and to express the concept at best, in Modena, unless B&B Iris is fully booked, there won't be other structures where I will stay.\n\nThank you, Marco, from the bottom of my heart.\n\nI have no doubts about achieving the maximum results that I am sure you will maintain over time.
