Few steps from Railway Station B&B HOPE is a typical ancient house of Bologna, recently completely renew. It is situated in town-centre in safety and quiet area. It is available single room and double room with separate bed or quin bed.

All room is equipped of bathroom inside room. All rooms is independent, nothing is shared. Customer use electronic key for main doors and room doors, it is possible go out or come in at all times. Check-in is possible always and check-out at 11, 00.

B&B HOPE is close to railway station, only 5 minutes walk (500 meters); from fair only 15 minutes walk (1500 meters). B&B Hope is close to “Piazza de L' Unità” (50 meters) where all bus in Bologna stop. From airport to B&B HOPE is easy and cheap take shuttle and stop in railway station.

Breakfast

Breakfast is served in the room at 'desired time and is the classic Italian breakfast: cappuccino, brioche and fruit juice.

It 's simple but very good as the brioche is made ??by us (we use butter not the cheapest vegetable oils) and brought to the room just finished cooking, we use the cappuccino coffee Giovannini (is roasted at 5 km from Bologna Bed & Breakfast), this mixture has won the award for best coffee in the world in 2012.

I had a very pleasant stay, perhaps my best solo travel hotel experience. Extremely clean and well organized room, the location is very convenient - close to the central station and not too far on foot from the historical centre. I had to check in quite late but the host was still very welcoming and guided me step by step. Bathroom is in perfect condition with great water pressure, has soap and shampoo dispensers. Very charming place. I didn't book breakfast, so I can't say anything about it.

Come chiaramente indicato il check-in chiude alle ore 22, 00; dopo le 22, 00 si aggiunge un sovrapprezzo di €10. La sua brutta recensione nasce dal mio rifiuto di scontarle la tassa di soggiorno a fronte di un pagamento senza ricevuta. Il check out è alle ore 11: 00; è importante rispettare questo orario perché ci permette di preparare la camera per i nuovi clienti, lei nonostante i ripetuti avvisi ha liberato la camera alle ore 12: 30. Lei è una persona non corretta preferiamo non averla più come ospite.

Average rating sufficient. Standard and Spartan structure. The only convenience was the proximity to the station. Noteworthy is the annoying presence of the cleaning lady, I believe, as she did not identify herself. On the first day of my stay, she knocked on the door while I was resting. Also, on the day of departure, she knocked at 10:40 saying we had to leave the room by 11. Anyway, the apartment is quite noisy, evidently the ground floor is not the best.

I booked 4 nights in this B&B for a short vacation in Bologna, and I must say that I felt very well. The place is quite quiet, without noise or anything else, five minutes from the station and 20 minutes from the center going through Via Indipendenza. The rooms were simple, clean, and welcoming, just like in the photos. I was informed that the electricity is produced by the B&B's photovoltaic panels, which I appreciated. For the price paid, I am extremely satisfied and highly recommend it. The owner is very helpful and performs all check-in procedures quickly and automatically.

Sono molto dispiaciuto sapere che il soggiorno non l'ha soddisfatta. In camera è possibile impostare la temperatura fino a 25 gradi in modo autonomo, l'illuminazione non mi risulta assolutamente insufficiente, il quartiere non è per nulla pericoloso.

I did not meet the manager, but the check-in at the facility guided by the manager himself via phone was simple. The room, although a bit dated, was sufficiently large, clean, and quiet. The cleaning lady was kind and professional. The neighborhood, convenient to the station, cannot be defined as a tourist area both for the poor cleanliness of the streets (not too different from other areas, unfortunately) and for the people who stay outside until late at night (this is also a common problem in the less frequented areas of the city).

Rather run-down structure. Area, the Bolognina, very neglected, like all of Bologna. Unsatisfactory value for money. City in general chaotic, very dirty and expensive compared to the (few) services it offers... If it's not for the artistic part it has, it's absolutely not worth coming. Tourist tax, absolutely out of line with the city it is (4.20 euros per day per person).

Very nice host, very clean, convenient and cozy. Great coffee and more in 2 minutes by foot and on the way to the station. 12 minutes to Bologna Centrale station. Close to the city center. There is a small vent which could be uncomfortable for people with sleeping problems, but is actually quite a fresh and healthy idea.

First impressions were undecided with the cash-only payment through the wall and phone contact only. However, on speaking with the host, the instructions were very clear and polite. The room was clean and of reasonable size with a small wardrobe in the bathroom if needed, and a good eating bench in the room. The light breakfast consisted of only a croissant and coffee, but they were freshly made daily and delicious, no juice provided. A big hint if arriving by train is to go to the south exit closest to platform 11 and up a level to exit. The street is then right there. This is excellent for other train trips required during your stay. Fresh fruit available at the market just down the street.

We stayed at this property for two nights, great location as it is close to the train station. A few steps from the bus stop. Breakfast, if included, is taken care of by the owner, delivering it directly to the room after agreeing on the time and what you would like to receive. Excellent organization during check-in. Semi self, followed step by step by the owner. Kind, organized, and very helpful owners. The owner's wife took care of us in the morning by delivering breakfast, always kind and helpful. We will definitely return.

Mi scusi ma mi chiedo e le chiedo perché allora non ha prenotato nel vecchio Hotel? Le rispondo io: perché quest'anno nella data che lei ha soggiornato c'era una fiera internazionale e un concerto e di conseguenza tutte le tariffe degli hotel erano molto più alte, il suo hotel chiedeva €300!

Non abbiamo mai visto l'host. All communication was via a Wi-Fi call at the entrance. The fee of 160 euros plus 12 euros was paid in cash through a hole in the wall. No cash, no entry. This was conveyed only via email in Italian the day before. \nNo water in the room. No facility to make tea or coffee in the building. Very mean. Not good.

Excellent location and price. But the duvet needs to be changed (lots of stains even after washing, it's a disaster for those like me who suffer from dust mites) and the electric heater is not sufficient to heat the large room. Saving money is fine but on the coldest and most humid days, it's not enough. I would gladly pay a few more euros to have a radiator heating system.

Excellent structure near Piazza dell'Unità where all buses pass to go to the center of Bologna, very quiet area, not noisy at all. Very large room, comfortable, excellent cleanliness, they even let us leave our luggage even though the room was not ready yet, the owner is very kind, the check-in is all guided by him, super fast and easy.

Perfect for a night in Bologna. 10 minutes walk from the train station, 2 minutes from the bus stop to get to the center. Kind and helpful owner. \nUnfortunately, we didn't have the opportunity to stay longer, but I'm sure we would have been further satisfied. \nI particularly appreciated the possibility to adjust the temperature in the room. \nWe didn't take advantage of the breakfast, simply to enjoy the beautiful day and eat in the center.

My boyfriend and I stayed at B&B Hope for one night and it was perfect! The host was extremely kind and helpful, the room was very clean and the beds were wonderful. The location was great for us since we arrived and departed from Bologna Centrale and not too far from the city center at all. The price was very reasonable. 10/10, We would highly recommend this bed & breakfast to anyone looking to enjoy Bologna!

I stayed with the whole family. Everything was good, close to Bologna Central Station and close to the city center. I will come back.
