A few years ago, we began restoring the old barn that belonged to our grandparents, next to the country house where we spent our summers. Once the renovations were complete, we decided to move out of the city, which is about twenty kilometers away. Life in the countryside offers us tranquility, a connection to nature and animals, the chance to grow our own fruits and vegetables, and the opportunity to spend many hours outdoors each day. Since we had a space originally intended for our children that has not been used, we decided to make it available to those who, for work or leisure, wish to spend varying lengths of time in a relaxing setting not far from Parma and other cities like Modena, Bologna, Milan, or Verona, as well as the sea of the Cinque Terre. Our hilly area is perfect for biking, hiking, and culinary tours in the regions known for Parma ham and Parmigiano cheese.
