Our tourist facility is located in a peaceful area of the Parma region, on the right bank of the Po river. It is situated just a few minutes away from the center of Zibello, a city known for its numerous tourist and cultural attractions.

The facility is situated in the charming alleyway of Fratina, the place where it is said that the famous Culatello di Zibello originated. Completely renovated while respecting its original architecture, this family-run establishment offers its guests comfortable rooms with private facilities, television, minibar, air conditioning, and also has an annex ideal for families.

We, as a family, have moved from Belgium to Italy, first to Parma and then to Zibello, where we have chosen to reopen the marvelous Casolare Fratina Bed and Breakfast.

Polesine Zibello is a quaint coastal town located on the Po River, characterized by a dense network of canals and streets, embraced by high embankments and soft floodplain areas where it is possible to cycle.

The Municipality, which is part of the Italian Slow Cities, is a village of Roman origin, situated in the low Po Valley, about 35 km away from Parma, 27 km from Cremona (25 km from the Cremona circuit, 30 km from Cremona Fiere), and approximately 30 km from Piacenza. It spans a completely flat territory of about 26 square kilometers.

Polesine Zibello is the kingdom of Culatello, a highly prized cured meat with a long-standing tradition, the pride of Parmesan and Emilian gastronomy known worldwide. Culatello di Zibello, a product with Protected Designation of Origin (PDO), is only produced here, where the territory - amidst poplar trees and ancient riverbeds of the Great River Po, Po Valley fogs and farmhouses - is perfect for pork processing.

Very good bed & breakfast for a stopover in the Parma area. The village is within walking distance and there is a very good restaurant. We were very well welcomed. The room was spacious and the bedding was good.

I stayed at the B&B Casolare Fratina twice, in November and on the days around Christmas. The structure is beautiful, the room very comfortable and furnished in harmony with the house. I did not have breakfast (it is available, but I never have it), they still provided me with every hot and cold drink. The owners are fantastic, on Christmas day upon my return I found a panettone as a gift. It has become my reference point every time I return to visit my friends who live nearby.

Guglielmo and his wife are two delightful people. They welcomed us warmly. The rooms are spacious and clean, with a nice bathroom. Once inside, it feels like being in another era. Lovely! A small pool completes the garden.

Charming and welcoming place, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, great for a relaxing break, taking advantage of the beautiful swimming pool. Super spacious and clean room, equipped with air conditioning and mosquito nets. The family that manages the structure is really helpful and manages to make guests feel at ease. Well-stocked breakfast, rich in fresh and packaged products for all needs.

We were very well. Beautiful structure immersed in silence with a swimming pool available for great relaxation. Spacious and clean room, with private bathroom and air conditioning. Abundant breakfast with fresh products. Owners are very helpful and friendly. I definitely recommend it.

Magnificent structure, excellent pool, very helpful, kind and professional managers. I highly recommend it for short or long stays with family or not. I was with my one and a half year old daughter, and we had a great time! We ate at an excellent restaurant reachable in five minutes on foot, and we rested perfectly both during the day and at night. Warm welcome and many tips. A place that will remain in my beautiful memories with wonderful people. Thank you.
