My name is Maria Ketty and for several years I have been offering hospitality to tourists and travelers who make Bologna their destination for a short time.
I love this city and it is from the desire to offer a comfortable and refined accommodation to travelers who decide to visit it that the idea of renovating the Rubino apartment was born.
I tried to create an elegant and practical environment that offers maximum comfort to those who live there.
For the reception of guests, I avail myself of the collaboration of Sabrina, who has years of experience in this activity.

Nearby are the stops of the main means of public transportations which connect the center to all areas of the city and its surroundings.
Access by car to the restricted traffic area is permitted by communicating the vehicle number plate from the B&B to the urban mobility office. A covered parking space is also available at the price of 20 € per day. For more detailed information regarding access by car, contact us.
The central station can be reached in 10 minutes by bus no. 25 which stops in Via Ugo Bassi 5 minutes from the B&B.
The trade fair district can be easily reached by bus no. 28 which stops in Via Ugo Bassi.
From the airport, the B&B can be easily reached by taxi at a rate between 20 € and 25 €, or by the monorail Marconi Express for 8 € per person The Marconi Express reach in a few minutes the Central Station. We stayed for 5 nights and we were delighted with our choice. Maria is a wonderful host, very eager to accommodate our needs. The apartment was charming, absolutely spotless, with all the amenities one would need. The location is ideal, at a short walkable distance to the main attractions and yet in a calm environment. The breakfasts were colorful and plentiful. B&B Bologna Nel Cuore really lives up to its name and we highly recommend it, without hesitation. Thank you very much Maria!

Maria was warm and welcoming and happy to help. The property is lovely and well located close to the historic center but away from any noise. Breakfast was delicious. Our room was comfortable and pleasant. The whole property was spotlessly clean and well presented. We would highly recommend.

The manager, Mrs. Ketty, is extremely kind and helpful, making you feel at home. The rooms are very clean, breakfast is exceptional, and the location is strategic, close to the city center in a very peaceful area. WOW! B&B Bologna nel Cuore scores a perfect 10 in all categories! We were so pleased with our stay at this lovely B&B. Our room and bathroom were spotless. The homemade breakfast was absolutely delicious with the BEST eggs we have ever tasted. The variety of homemade jams, spectacular fresh fruits, meats and cheeses, yogurts, and cappuccini were of top quality. The location was perfect, an easy walk to the city center with all its attractions. And I am saving the best for last. Maria Ketty was the most charming hostess anyone could ever want. She made us feel very welcome into her lovely home. She is very knowledgeable, and obviously very proud of her amazing city. We highly recommend Bologna nel Cuore to anyone who visits this very lively, interesting, historical city. You will be very pleased with your stay, and you may not want to leave!

The apartment was presented beautifully and although small, it was very well laid out and planned. Maria was a lovely hostess and made lots of suggestions for restaurants, she made reservations on our behalf and gave advice on places to see and helpful tips.

The definitely best apartment we've ever had! Located in the city center (4-5 minutes walk to Piazza Maggiore) in a beautiful residential building with a courtyard. We rented the App. Rubino, which has a small kitchen for self-catering. Absolutely quiet location, even at night! The bathroom is up to date, you don't miss anything! The whole apartment is furnished and equipped with love and intelligence. This also applies - and above all - to the kitchen. The fridge was filled with pre-ordered items. Maria provided us with great tips for our holiday, absolutely top class! If we come back, we will definitely stay here!

The Steam House is a wonderful little B&B in the heart of the city - so easy to get to all the sights, as well as the train station. The room was huge, bright, great funky interior. There is also a little breakfast table in the room. The lovely host, Valentina, provides a simple but perfect breakfast of bread, meat, cheese, cereal, fruit and yogurt. There is also a coffee machine and kettle. It’s great to have a private breakfast with the windows open which flood the room with sunlight. Valentina is very helpful and on WhatsApp to answer any questions or help. Great place and will definitely return.

First of all, beautiful Bologna. Central structure in an ancient building with an internal portico, very beautiful and tastefully decorated. Comfortable and very clean rooms. The manager, Mrs. Ketty, very cordial and helpful. I would definitely return to this structure.

Wonderful B&B, Marie the host was lovely and very helpful - booking us tables at local restaurant. B&B is in the great location - close enough to the center (about a 5-minute walk) but far enough to be away from all the noise. Breakfast was always very nice. The room itself was charming, mixing modern and classic designs. It was well appointed and lots of space. Would not hesitate to stay here again, should we visit Bologna.

We have a very nice memory of our stay in Bologna, in part thanks to the choice of this B&B. Ideally located, comfortable, charming, it is a perfect place to put down your luggage. Maria Kitty's warm welcome makes you feel "at home". The variety of breakfasts is an introduction to the local cuisine that you can discover in more detail thanks to Maria's advice.

Already at the end of 2013 we were guests of B&B Bologna Nel Cuore (Topazio Apartment) and we were impressed by the welcome and the structure: but something was missing. We had missed the true knowledge with Mrs. Maria Ketty who had left us 'masters' absolute to enjoy the end of 2013 in the places dear to her childhood. An absolute loss that had to be recovered at all costs. Thanks to the long weekend of the Immaculate Conception holiday, we returned to Bologna for its streets and its porticoes. Guests of B&B Bologna Nel Cuore (Camera Toledo), Mrs. Maria Ketty opened the doors of her home immediately filling that void we carried from the first stay. The quiet serenity, the harmony, the joy of exchanging ideas that live in Bologna Nel Cuore make the holiday moment an experience to be absolutely repeated. The morning breakfast is sublime with cakes (the fantastic strudel), jams (the orange one is amazing) made by Mrs. Maria Ketty: from sweet to savory, from fresh fruit to hot coffee (great blend), from cookies to cream-filled croissants. Nothing is missing. Mrs. Maria Ketty is an exemplary host and being able to grasp moments of her friendship is really very nice. All this makes Bologna Nel Cuore a precious place in that city so cheerful, smiling, alive, seriously playful that is Bologna. You return home with the desire to return as soon as possible, without forgetting to pack the precious tortellini from Le Sfogline (!) just to ease the detachment from days spent so well.

We stayed in the Topazio apartment located on the ground floor, very clean and equipped with all the comforts. Excellent breakfast, very kind and extremely helpful owners. An important aspect is its location: very close to the main tourist attractions but far from the street noises. To come back as soon as possible.
