Description

A Parma Duomo is in Parma City Centre B&B is located a few steps from the Cathedral in the medieval heart of the city, within walking distance of major sights gives you access to the best local restaurants to shopping and monuments of the city. The result of a careful restoration, furnished with care, to offer our guests comfort and tranquility. The two B&B rooms are elegant, with characteristic frescoed ceilings, featuring a private bathroom with shower, air conditioning, television, minibar 40 LEDs and free WIFI. It is possible to enter in the limited traffic zone in order to arrive at the B&B following a pre-arranged route for loading/unloading luggage.

If you are looking for a B&B in the center of Parma with parking, we have two convenient solutions: a public DUS parking lot at €12 for 24 hours and another with private video-monitored parking spaces about 70 meters from our facility at an additional cost of €24 per night (availability subject to confirmation). Ideal for parking and then getting around the city on foot.

A very comfortable property with well-decorated, high-ceiling rooms. It is just a few blocks' walk from the city center and is situated on a quiet residential street. Our host, Giampolo, was very helpful and served a very nice breakfast with pastries and rolls purchased that morning, along with a selection of local meats and cheeses and eggs on request. He also made great Americanos and cappuccinos with breakfast. Bottled water was provided daily. It was also a reasonable 10–15 minute walk from the train station.

Mr. Giampaolo was truly very welcoming, kind and thoughtful. He gave us lots of useful information about the city and about where to have lunch or dinner. It was truly a pleasure to meet him. During breakfast we enjoyed his company and spent quality time with him. The property is in a central area, a short walk from the historic center, very quiet and easily reachable from the DUS parking lot, which is very inexpensive for those arriving by car and not moving it for the whole stay. If we returned to Parma we would definitely stay at this property again, both for the convenience and for Giampaolo's hospitality.

Everything about our brief stay was wonderful. I must say that the photos do not do justice to the charm of the building, whose ground floor was originally a medieval monastery. The ceiling frescoes of the rooms have been beautifully restored. And the location is amazing - on a quiet and charming street a few steps away from the Duomo and the historical center of Parma. Our host, Giampaolo, was kind and courteous, and took the trouble to find dinner reservations for us at the last minute at an excellent restaurant. Thank you!

This property is a very short walk to shopping and restaurants. Our host suggested we visit the Galleria Nazionale, the museum, and it was amazing and a great value. Our host was lovely and made us an Italian breakfast each day we were there.

Everything about this property is outstanding, but most in particular is Gianpaolo, who assisted us in every way from the moment we arrived and until we left earlier today. He provided us with the best experience possible including calling taxis for us, making dinner reservations, helping with our luggage, recommending things to do, cooked breakfast for the two of us each morning, and even made our beds and cleaned our room. I might also add that the apartment is very close to almost all of the important places to visit, and can easily be accomplished by simply walking. I have never raved about anyone like this before, and it might be very difficult for anyone to approach his personal touch.

Giampaolo is very welcoming and eager to please. He has limited English (much better than my Italian), but is skilled at using his phone to translate. The location is perfect: 100 yards from the Duomo, but on a very quiet street. I advise being very specific about what you might like for breakfast; otherwise Giampaolo has to guess what to provide. He gave good restaurant recommendations.

We would recommend this B&B because of the friendliness of the owner Giampaolo and its proximity to the main sites in Parma. Giampaolo is incredibly welcoming despite his poor English. He booked Restaurants for the nights that we stayed there. Both were a few minutes away and both excellent. The accommodation was modern and very clean. Giampaolo provided breakfast each morning. We stayed one night in this establishment. Very central, a stone's throw from the cathedral, spacious room with well-kept furniture and frescoed ceilings. Good-sized bathroom with a large shower and all the necessary amenities (even a hairdryer!). Breakfast prepared by the very kind owner Giampaolo, a delightful person both for hospitality and for kindness in recommending local places and restaurants or monuments to visit.

Giampaolo was a wonderful host! The rooms were very clean on arrival, and we cleaned up daily in addition to making the bed and replacing the used towels with new ones. This is a truly special rental: perfect location, interior with exquisitely refined decor in a gorgeous period building, wonderful bed and bedding, and a fine breakfast — in short, quality throughout. Very nice location in a historic building combined with a refined and modern design, very quiet area right in the center, parking outside the ZTL at 6 minutes walk. Giampaolo is an excellent manager, available to give you information and advice on everything related to the stay in Parma, already at the booking he had given me the choice of some restaurants so I could organize myself in time. I could only spend a short time at breakfast because I had a commitment, but Giampaolo accommodated my request by still providing me with everything I needed. If I were to return to Parma, I wouldn't look for anything else!

Spacious, charming, clean, comfortable, with excellent service. Strongly recommended. Giampaolo was a very gracious host. He showed great flexibility in meeting our special requests for breakfast. He also acted as a concierge, making restaurant recommendations and reservations, pointing out special events in town that we would not have otherwise known about, and offering general guidance on enjoying Parma. The rooms are spacious with high ceilings and good light from large windows, and they are tastefully decorated to a high standard. The beds are very comfortable. The bathroom is clean and works well. The location is very central, just a few steps from the Duomo. This is an historic building in the old town. Breakfast is served in the room and is generous and filling: we had eggs, cheese, yogurt, berries and other fruits, coffee, and bread every morning; one morning there was also a little Parma ham.

This is a delightful place to stay in Parma. The location is perfect, our suite was absolutely beautiful, and our host utterly charming. Tucked away behind the Duomo, it's just a few steps from everything. Our room was elegant and spacious, and it included a large, comfortable living room as well. Breakfasts were great: we chose savory (vs. sweet) and had our choice of meats and cheeses, as well as rolls, fruit and yogurt--and our host prepared some lovely eggs as well. Our host Giampaolo was friendly and welcoming. All in all a wonderful experience! We have friends in Parma and will definitely stay here next time we visit.

The B&B is in a great location. Super close to the Duomo. Giampaolo was very helpful in telling us things about Parma, including having walking tour maps and restaurant recommendations. Breakfast was served in the large sitting area attached to our room. He worked with our schedule, which was early one morning due to a food tour. Giampaolo also took care of paying a parking ticket we received, which we really appreciated. We paid the fee, but he took care of turning it in for us, etc.

Beautiful. Giampaolo's elegant B&B is located in the heart of historic Parma where you can visit everything on foot. From wonderful breakfast to gorgeous bedroom with ensuite bathroom, extremely design, to his excellent advice on what to do & where to eat, Giampaolo is a quality host.

We stayed three days at this very welcoming B&B, in a historic building just a stone's throw (literally two!) from the Duomo, tastefully renovated with wisdom and elegance. The modern furnishings blend pleasantly with the spaces of a former monastery, where frescoes peek here and there, recovered from a careful restoration. Giampaolo is a helpful and caring host, who went out of his way to coordinate and personalize our breakfasts. His recommendations regarding local venues and places in the city proved to be very valuable. The room is large and bright, well heated, and made our returns from the long walks in beautiful Parma, on those days (2-5 January) quite chilly, doubly pleasant. Highly recommended!
