The apartment is located in the heart of the city's historic center, at Via Broccaindosso 59—just a stone's throw from Piazza Maggiore (the main square), the Exhibition District (Fiera), and the train station, and very close to the S. Orsola Policlinico hospital.

Via Broccaindosso itself is home to numerous restaurants and trattorias, offering everything from *nouvelle cuisine* and traditional local dishes to meat and fish specialties. Furthermore, the area is well-served by public transport—as you would expect in the city center—with buses and taxis providing easy connections to and from the Exhibition District, the train station, and the airport.

Everything you might need is right nearby, including a post office, bank, restaurants, and grocery stores.

HOW TO REACH US (a taxi is recommended)

FROM THE AIRPORT:

Taxi: The fare is approximately 28 euros, and the trip takes about 30 minutes. (Ask the driver to take the "tangenziale"—the ring road—as going through the city center will take longer and cost more.)

Marconi Express (people mover) : The cost is 12. 80 euros per person, and the journey takes about 5 minutes. It arrives at the train station at the "Carracci" exit. We recommend heading to the main exit (Piazza Medaglie d'Oro) and then following the instructions for arriving "from the train station. "

FROM THE TRAIN STATION:

Take bus number 25 (which departs from the square outside the station). The bus travels along Via Marconi, Via Ugo Bassi, Via Rizzoli, and Strada Maggiore. Get off at the second stop on Strada Maggiore, then walk back about 30 meters. You will find Via Broccaindosso on your right; we are at number 59. ALTERNATIVELY: You can take a short walk to the nearby bus stop on Via Indipendenza. From here, take bus 25, 27A, or 27B (heading toward the city center!). The bus travels along Via Indipendenza, Via Rizzoli, and Strada Maggiore. From there, follow the instructions provided above.

PLEASE NOTE: On Saturdays, Sundays, and public holidays, buses do not run through the historic city center. Take bus 27 from Via dell'Indipendenza (heading toward the city center) and get off at the "Porta San Vitale" stop. Enter the city center on foot via Via San Vitale; after a few meters, the first street on your left will be Via Broccaindosso.

CURRENTLY, BOLOGNA IS UNDERGOING CONSTRUCTION FOR A NEW TRAM LINE, WHICH MAY CAUSE CHANGES OR DIVERSIONS TO BUS ROUTES. PLEASE CHECK THE "TPER BOLOGNA" WEBSITE IN ADVANCE.

You can purchase a bus ticket on board for €2. 50 per person, or for €2. 30 at a tobacco shop (*tabaccheria*). Tickets are valid for 75 minutes.

BY CAR:

Take the Bologna/Padova motorway exit, following signs for the city center.
Take exit 7 from the ring road (*tangenziale*), following signs for the city center. Continue onto Via Stalingrado, then follow the ring boulevards (*viali*) —keeping to your left—toward Porta San Vitale.

PARKING (we do not provide private parking) :
• You may park on the nearby Via Antonio Zanolini, which is outside the Limited Traffic Zone (ZTL). Parking is available on both sides of the street; you must pay for an hourly (€2. 20) or daily (€11. 00) parking ticket using the machines located along the street. Payment is required until 6: 00 PM (excluding public holidays). • Private garages nearby: Quick Parking, Via Zaccherini Alvisi, 12 (QuickParking. it).
