Our bed and breakfast is located in the city center, in a very convenient area, one hundred meters from the bus station, two hundred meters from the train station, and one and a half kilometers from the Fairgrounds (also accessible by bus lines that pass under our building).

With a five-minute walk, you can reach not only the university area but also the most beautiful monuments and places in the city center, from Piazza Maggiore to the Two Towers and Piazza Santo Stefano.

Included in the accommodation, in addition to breakfast, we offer internet service.

The manager, always available for any needs, can provide contacts for tourist itineraries and speaks both English and Spanish.

We stayed for a weekend as a couple. Nothing to complain about regarding the location of the property and its cleanliness. We are frequent travelers and therefore allow ourselves to comment on the hospitality: it was cold. We were not asked or welcomed on arrival, except for being given information about how the property is managed; moreover, at breakfast the next morning there was no mention of whether we had slept well or anything similar, which we consider normal for those whose job is hospitality. We were left bewildered. What was truly unacceptable was the request to pay the balance in cash and, above all, to reimburse the fee (equal to 4 euros) that they had to incur for the deposit payment made via PayPal. Never happened before.

The room is small but very well equipped (ceiling fan, closet, armchair, desk, fridge) and well arranged. The bathroom is very clean and modern. The host is very kind and the service was excellent — water provided in the room upon arrival, a generous breakfast, strong Wi-Fi, etc. The only thing that could be improved would be to offer breakfast a bit earlier than 8:00 AM for early travelers. Overall, 4 stars hotel quality for little money.

We spent a wonderful weekend at this BnB, comfortable and convenient due to its strategic location just 10 minutes from the station. What impressed us the most was the attention to detail (like the water in the room) and the breakfast, which was rich and able to satisfy everyone's tastes (fruit salad, fruit juice, milk, coffee, cookies, cakes,…). You can tell that those who work there do it with heart. Recommended experience, we will definitely return!

The room I stayed in was brand new with stylish details, quality sheets and towels. The breakfast was plentiful, only sweet though, this is perhaps the only downside. After insisting a bit, the owner then provided something savory. The location is perfect for visiting the city center, close to the train station and the bus station.

The cleanliness and location are excellent. The double bed, although made up of two single beds joined together, was comfortable. However, the pillows were a bit thin. I note the lack of soaps in the bathroom, as the two sachets of shampoo were insufficient. Furthermore, it was not clear whether there was water available in the common area, apart from at breakfast time. The breakfast is quite standard. I would have preferred to have it elsewhere, also because there was no plant-based milk, but it was included in the price. Finally, I note the presence of noisy neighbors upstairs who woke us up during the night. I recommend using earplugs.

Gentile Sofia, scusi se rispondo solo ora alla sua recensione, sono molto dispiaciuta che ci siano stati rumori notturni dall’appartamento di sopra, è raro ma può succedere! La camera che ha scelto è molto ampia e la sua comodità sta proprio nel fatto che si possano avere due letti singoli, spesso richiesti. In ogni caso, mi fa piacere che l’abbia trovato comodo. Leggo che lamenta anche la mancanza si sapone in bagno, eppure, ci sono ben due dispenser: uno sul lavabo e l’altro nella doccia… perché non ha chiesto? siamo sempre a disposizione degli ospiti proprio per evitare inconvenienti di questo tipo! Acqua minerale e bicchieri vengono messi in ogni camera; nello spazio comune, invece, lasciamo a disposizione un bollitore elettrico con tisane, tè, camomilla, ecc… Il latte senza lattosio non manca mai a colazione (ne faccio uso anch’io), solo a richiesta serviamo colazioni vegane e senza glutine, però, chiediamo la gentilezza di comunicarlo almeno il giorno prima per evitare sprechi. In generale, la colazione che offriamo non è di certo standard… latte, caffè, tè, succhi di frutta, macedonia di frutta fresca di stagione, cornetti da pasticceria, fette biscottate, pane tostato, biscotti secchi, merendine confezionate, marmellate varie, burro, yogurt e acqua minerale! Spero di poter soddisfare le tue richieste al prossimo soggiorno!:) Grazie e buon anno nuovo!

Ceiling fan with adjustable speed in the rooms ok. Consider putting a larger table for breakfast to share with other tourists without taking turns. In the rooms, try to create (if possible) an entrance to access the bathroom directly without leaving the room. For everything else ok.

The lady who manages 'Alle Mura' was impeccable in her welcome and very kind in her manners, so much so that, despite having to leave very early before breakfast time, she accommodated me by offering to leave me a thermos of coffee and milk. The single room I chose with an en suite bathroom was impeccably clean, but the en suite bathroom, being small, is really tiny and does not have a bidet. The sink is microscopic, so much so that when washing my face, the water goes everywhere. The shower is very small, with only a curtain to shield the splashes, so in that case too, the water comes out from underneath, and without a real cabin. Also, the space of the toilet is really small. I weigh 64 kg and am 1.72 m tall, so I am not corpulent. Very convenient, being only a short 10-minute walk from both Bologna Central Station and Piazza Maggiore.

Sorvolando su quelle che riguardano il gestore [ :) ] e la pulizia che possono essere evidentemente soggettive, la struttura si trova in centro e, tra l’altro, a dieci minuti a piedi da tutti i luoghi di cui aveva chiesto… pagella decisamente inappropriata! :[

I stayed for three days in winter 2023 in the single room at Alle Mura. The accommodation is overall okay, the landlady is nice and helpful. However, the bathroom of the single room is very narrow - I estimate about 80 cm from wall to wall. This is too little for taller individuals. For me (1.69 cm tall) it was borderline... I recommend it only for small individuals with a small budget. Otherwise less.

Alle Mura was ideal for our one night stay in Bologna and within walking distance of the train station and the city centre. Our room was a little small for two of us and had a well-appointed and clean private bathroom adjacent. Our hostess was charming and very helpful with places to visit, and provided an excellent breakfast. The property proved a little hard to find and clearer information on the website, rather than by emails, would have been better. Our room was perfectly adequate but less spacious than the one advertised on the website, and the price was a little high. Overall a great place for a stay in Bologna to experience local life away from the central tourist locations.

B&B in a strategic location: 10 minutes from both the train station and the historic center. Clean and quiet apartment, excellent cleanliness and friendly, courteous, and professional owner. My judgment is absolutely positive, I will be back soon. Highly recommended.

Well connected with public transport, adjacent to the Bus Station 5 minutes from the property, Central Station and downtown. The manager very nice, kind, helpful (provided us with tourist information in general) and reachable; very quiet and peaceful structure for a good stay and especially for a good rest. We are satisfied. We recommend it to everyone.

I have just stayed at the 'Alle Mura' property and I had a great time, the manager was very kind and helpful. The room is cozy and the breakfast is plentiful, the best I have tasted. I called the manager several times for information and he always answered me and even contacted me. I recommend this bed and breakfast to everyone.

Highly recommended! The managers are honest and courteous people and the B&B is located a stone's throw from Via Ilnerio and therefore from the station and the university area. Excellent room cleanliness.

The structure is very close to the train station, in a convenient position to easily reach Via Indipendenza and to walk around the entire city center. The managers are really kind and super helpful, abundant breakfast and clean premises. Highly recommended, I would go back without thinking.

The location is the strength of the property as it is located next to the central station and behind the bus station. It is located in the university citadel and you can reach the Towers in less than 10 minutes on foot. Also, Sant'Orsola Hospital is easily reached by bus. It is an apartment served by an elevator with a few pleasant rooms. The manager is nice, friendly, and helpful; breakfast is plentiful. The stay was very pleasant. Recommended.
