Description

The Bed and Breakfast Alle Cascate is located in the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, surrounded by green meadows of blueberries and chestnut forests. The house is surrounded by a river park where two streams meet, an ancient stone building perched on the mountainside overlooking the river. The structure has been recently renovated and enjoys all modern comforts, cool in summer and warm in winter.

Alle Cascate is a familiar and welcoming place, surrounded by natural beauty, tourist routes, and part of the local cultural heritage, enhanced throughout the year by numerous events, some of international importance. The city of Fanano is famous for wild blueberries, fishing in the river, historical reenactments of the nativity scene, stone sculptures, winter sports, mountain biking and e-biking routes, hiking trails and competitions, and much more.

It is an ideal place for active holidays, with family and friends to discover the beauties of the Tuscan-Emilian Apennines, with your partner for a romantic retreat, and for everyone a place of relaxation, pampered by the gentle sound of the flowing river.

Breakfast

The breakfast is served in the basement close to the river, part of the old town dyeing facility. The basement has been digged in the pure rock and in winter with the fire of the wooden stove there´s ancient atmosphere of relax.

In the summer from the basement is possible to enjoy directly the garden on the river and the waterfall.

The breakfast consists of daily fresh tuscany bread with home-made jams, there´s alway a home-made cake and in summer home-made yoghurt as well! Plus cereals, milk, Nutella, sometimes fresh ricotta, fresh fruit from the sorroundings and everything that the nature or our joy brings.

We are a family where everyone contributes, I, Patrizia, directly manage the B&B and I am always present, carrying on the family tradition of hospitality and conviviality. Now I can devote myself full-time to this activity and Fanano is the ideal place, surrounded by friends and events in a fairy tale setting. Emilio, my son, is an engineer passionate about ecovillages and brings his technical and practical contribution, especially in the field of sustainability, so we all try to be a little more aware and responsible. Enrico, the other son, and Argio, my husband, provide the necessary support when we dream big, and even grandma Valeria comes to lend a hand, leaving her touch in many small details of the house. Our neighbor Caio helps us to get to know and listen to the river and the mountains, and many other friends pass by and leave their mark, so every guest is a resource and is always welcome in our growing family.

Property located in a position with a spectacular view. I was assigned a room with a small terrace overlooking the waterfalls: excellent (but it was the only room with a terrace). Recently renovated spaces, well finished and equipped with everything necessary. Friendly and attentive welcome. Difficulty moving from one area to another: narrow and uncomfortable passages, likely due to the renovation and adaptation of the building.

Ha ragione, il fabbricato è un'antica casa-forte situata sul ponte che anticamente era percorso da una mulattiera che congiungere Fanano col fiume ed il passaggio verso la Toscana. È una casa storica e abbiamo cercato di mantenere e valorizzare il più possibile la sua originalità. Infatti c'è una sola stanza col terrazzo perché quella era la situazione originaria. Anche l'altezza della casa è stata mantenuta in linea con la casa di sx (originale) e non con quella di dx (ristrutturazione arbitraria... ). L'accesso alla tavernetta (sede di anticamente tintoria) è stato scavato nella roccia della montagna su cui la casa è stata costruita. E se la scala risulta un po' scomoda, c'è sempre il passaggio di riserva. Questo è il fascino di un'antica casa-forte con restauro conservativo rispettoso della storia di quei luoghi.

Very nice place overlooking the river that offers a truly picturesque view from the room window. Patrizia, the host, is very kind, welcomes you in the best possible way and is always available to advise you where to go and what to eat. The breakfast emphasizes quality over quantity; there was not much variety, but what Patrizia offered was really excellent, including homemade pastries, fresh ricotta and high-quality ingredients. I would gladly return.

The property is truly beautiful and in an excellent location, immersed in nature but just a short walk from the town center of Fanano. What sets it apart is the hospitality of Mrs. Patrizia. She is a delightful, welcoming and always helpful person. We felt at home and comfortable. The cleanliness is impeccable: during the stay, when returning from excursions, we always found the room clean. The breakfasts are excellent and tasty, especially the sweets; every day a different homemade cake. The property is also pet friendly: even our big dog Tiana was very warmly welcomed. It was a stay that put us in a good mood. We will definitely return! Thanks again to Patrizia for the warmth and hospitality.

We stayed for a couple of nights at this property located very close to a stream that flows into another forming several waterfalls. This already gives it a point in favor for its spectacularity. The view is enchanting with a view of the peak of Cimone. Then we come to Mrs. Patrizia and her husband, the managers of the B&B, two very friendly, kind, and welcoming people. The room is small but has everything you need (except for the TV). We will definitely return because it was 3 very, very pleasant days.

The B&B is small and well-kept, clean and very lovely. The room is spacious and offered us a beautiful view of the waterfalls in the morning and the relaxing sound of water. But the true highlight is the owners: hospitable, welcoming, and caring. Patrizia delighted us with her homemade cakes and fresh local products, as well as with stories about the place and tips to make the most of our visit to Fanano. Their little dog Tango is also very friendly and will greet you at the gate looking for cuddles. The family atmosphere, shared with the other guests, has remained in our hearts!

We stayed at this property for the April 25th long weekend and we had a great time. Especially for the warm welcome received from the very nice Patrizia who recommended beautiful walks in the enchanting nature surrounding this b&b and managed to win over the 3 kids traveling with us. The breakfast is plentiful and every day we were greeted with a different cake. The view is definitely the highlight. We will definitely come back because there are still many things to discover.

We spent three days of relaxation welcomed by Patrizia who supported us even before our arrival by giving us weather information and taking care to provide gluten-free food for breakfast. During our stay, she recommended places to visit and told us about the customs of this welcoming and active little village. The room was super clean and comfortable, the breakfast rich and with homemade products made with the best ingredients, served in a stunning little tavern with a view of the waterfalls. We can't forget the cheerful dog Tango and... What else to say, everything perfect, we recommend everyone to spend at least a few days here, in any season!

A waterfall of attentions. Although knowing Fanano, we were pleasantly surprised to discover this characteristic glimpse of nature a stone's throw from the village, which envelops you and makes you feel far from everyday life. The house, with an ancient flavor, is cared for in the smallest details with good taste and precious attentions... the same then reserved for guests by the delightful Mrs. Patrizia. Everything perfect, the best to make you feel comfortable and well received. Beautiful experience, albeit short, to recommend and repeat.

We were greeted with a lot of warmth and courtesy, like 'one of the family'. The rooms are very cozy and clean, and the view of the waterfalls is very beautiful. The possibility of storing the bicycles is a significant plus. A very pleasant and relaxing stay. We didn't try the breakfast, but I imagine it is up to the standard of the other services.

Beautiful Valentine's weekend at this B&B. Enchanting location, the sound of the artificial waterfall gently accompanied us into the arms of Morpheus. Breathtaking views in the morning when the sun illuminates the mountains in the background. Very cozy and spotlessly clean room. Mrs. Patrizia, whom we thank, welcomed us as if we were family. I stayed last April 12th at B&B Alle Cascate with my family. The structure is well renovated and in order, the room simple but very clean. The manager is extremely courteous and helpful. The breakfast is a bit simple: perhaps at least some croissants would be appreciated. Overall, however, it is a place I would return to.

It's not the first time I choose to stay at "Alle Cascate" by Patrizia. The structure is well taken care of in every detail, the riverside location with the sound of water that accompanies and relaxes you is excellent. The breakfast is genuine and plentiful and Patrizia is sunny, kind, and very very helpful. We will definitely come back and I will recommend the structure to anyone who wants to spend a few days around Monte Cimone.

Beautiful stone structure tastefully renovated. The room, suitable for 4 people, is spacious and very clean, served by a very large and also very clean bathroom. Splendid welcome from Mrs. Patrizia, whom we thank for all her availability and kindness. Excellent location to reach the ski slopes of Mount Cimone and at the same time very close to the town where you can find shops, bars, and general services, as well as a nice ice rink that saved us from a rainy afternoon. We will definitely return at the first opportunity.

The B&B is in the most charming spot in Fanano, surrounded by greenery, in front of the waterfalls, and offers an excellent compromise between the village (reachable on foot through a truly suggestive path) and the various CAI trails. We stayed with my wife and our beagle Lisa, during the Easter weekend. What can I say, a wonderful place for those looking for a corner to regenerate. The owner, Patrizia, a careful, very friendly and extremely helpful host, not only offers abundant breakfasts, with very fresh food from cakes to bread to eggs, but also suggested restaurants and places for walks and excursions. In short, we felt so good that this summer we changed our plans and will spend part of our holidays in this little corner of paradise.

It was a beautiful vacation. Patrizia, the owner, was simply extraordinary and supportive. The location is enchanting. The photos do not do justice to the beauty of the landscape. Our room with a view of the waterfall allowed us to fully enjoy these magnificent places. Thank you Patrizia and thank you to B&B Day, which allowed us to discover these magnificent places.
