The Al Giuggiolo (The Jujube) agritourism is located in the near vicinity of the Ostellato Wetlands and of the naturalistic reserve of the Po river delta park. Conveniently lying within a short car drive from Ferrara and the Lidi Ferraresi (Ferrarese seaside), the establishment comprises a 28 hectares (69, 19 acres) estate surrounding a colonic house recently remodeled.
The main building offers 6 rooms for a total of 15 beds, and features all modern comforts while retaining its original aspect. The advanced construction technologies used in the remodeling ensure a pleasant level of comfort in both winter and summer. The agritourism comprises a 5000 square meters (1, 23553 acres) fully-fenced park with ornamental plants and fruit trees. Hospitality and the possibility to relax in an oasis of tranquility couples with the vicinity to all essential services.
A bike path, immersed in the countryside, allows pleasant bike rides or walks starting right from the entrance of the property.
The Agritourism is well connected to the cities of Ferrara and Comacchio, and to the Ferrarese seaside (Lidi Ferraresi), through the highway, the state road, as well as via public transport. The territory in which the estate is located, boasts a stunning naturalistic and landscape beauty: the Ostellato Wetlands, the Comacchio Wetlands, the Campotto Wetlands, the salt-works of Cervia, the Classe pine-wood, very interesting also for the characteristic fauna and flora. Historical and art/architecture points of interest are: the Mesola Castle, the Abbey of Pomposa, The Estense Delizie (delights), the historical donwntown of the cities of Ferrara, Comacchio, and Ravenna. In the nearby Ostellato Wetlands there is also an important Observatory. Sport tourism is also well catered for: fishing, hunting, equestrianism, archery, canoeing and excursions on boats. Great accommodation for those like us who love fishing in the canals of Ostellato. Great location in relation to the competition fields. Neat and clean environment. We stayed at Al Giuggiolo to do the bike tour of the Valleys of Comacchio, which are about twenty minutes away by car. During the night, the managers kindly stored our bikes in a covered and closed place.

My partner and I decided to take a few days off to unwind. I must say that Al Giuggiolo provided us with the peace and tranquility we needed. The place is immersed in greenery and surrounded by agricultural land, with only a cycle path adjacent to the entrance, a feature that may not be appreciated by everyone but was providential for us: the silence and tranquility allowed us to enjoy a relaxing vacation. The highway connecting Ferrara to Comacchio is easily reachable just a couple of kilometers away. Breakfast is carefully prepared, and Flavio and Daniela are always available to give advice on places to visit. We had a great time and highly recommend it!

Beautiful country house that has remained intact in its structure, surrounded by a beautiful planted lawn. On the ground floor you will find the breakfast room and a lounge available to guests. On the first floor are the rooms. The one we were assigned was very spacious with a nice big and very comfortable bed. The owners Daniela and Flavio are two very friendly and helpful people. The breakfast was great. Daniela prepared for us (that day we were the only guests) four very good cakes accompanied by a genuine homemade pear jam. I recommend it especially for those like us who choose to explore the area by bike, in fact, the farmhouse is located right next to a cycle path and is a couple of km from the center. Excellent welcome waiting for you!

We were guests at this farmhouse with our dog. The place offers several services for those traveling with animals: no extra charge is required, upon our arrival we found a pet kit in the room, outside there is a large park completely fenced and shaded with a bike path at the entrance. The rooms are spacious, clean, and have a private bathroom. The managers are very helpful and provided us with various information regarding dog-friendly places in the surrounding areas to visit. The breakfast is excellent and truly abundant. We found the tranquility we were looking for to recharge and we can only recommend it!
