The Accademia al Colle is located on the beautiful Via Santa Margherita al Colle, which is a street that rises from the Giardini Margherita, the largest park in the city, towards the hill. This residential area is one of the most beautiful in the city thanks to the many villas and beautiful gardens that surround it.
Although it is close to the city, it is ideal to have a car available. The most active walkers can reach the villa on foot from the bus stop, which is about 800 meters uphill and downhill on the way back.
However, it is possible to rent cars, scooters, electric bicycles, taxis or limousines: there is only the embarrassment of choice.
Guests have access to the large 2-hectare forest located under the house, which is ideal for walking or jogging.
The fruit trees that adorn the garden are available to guests who can take a ladder and freely collect figs, persimmons, cherries and apricots. Walking in the green, it is possible to have precious encounters: morning pheasants that wake up singing, hares that run away from the lawn, squirrels that run on the trees.
Yuri is the horse to whom a large part of the forest is reserved, and who enjoys carrots and apples. Bonga is the dog in the enclosure who should not be trusted, the cat Ruffo chases mice and moles, and then there are wild boars, hawks, woodpeckers, foxes, hedgehogs, deer that will be exciting to observe from afar.
