Description

Ab Suite Innovative Design is a brand new and delightful Charming Room & Breakfast in Bologna, 600 meters from the Two Towers, the heart of the city, original in its exclusive and refined furnishings.

Suitable for all those people who want a touch of originality and something more than a simple bedroom. It is located at the beginning of the historic center of Bologna, in Porta San Donato, 100 meters from via Irnerio and Via Zamboni, a stone's throw from Via Indipendenza in a highly strategic position for those who need to go to the nearby Ospeali S. Orsola - Villa Torri only 250 meters, Rizzoli.

All suite rooms have private bathroom, air conditioning and and coffee maker. Some also have a small corner with a fridge and microwave.

In the structure you will find parking spaces dedicated to guests, which you can book at a cost of € 20 per day.

All rooms have independent access and are equipped with soundproofed armored doors, allowing guests to enter and exit freely without time constraints and to rest in a warm, muffled environment.

Inside the rooms you will find a coffee machine and herbal tea pods, LED TV.

WI-FI connection, courtesy line and linen.

Our structure has private parking spaces, with independent entrance, in the private garden. Rate € 16 per day.

We are 100 meters from the historic center but outside the ZTL. Permits are not required.

Perfectly connected with the Central Station (also reachable on foot) for those who have to go to the Bologna Fair (1, 200 meters), Villa Torri (300 meters), the S. Orsola Polyclinic Hospital (500 meters) Sismer.

The Rizzoli Hospital is connected by public transport, the central hub of all public transport is located in front of AB SUITE.

The university area of ??Bologna, which starts from via Zamboni, is 100 meters away. Continuing on foot on via Zamboni you will arrive directly under the Two Towers and Piazza Maggiore.

The Suite rooms of Ab Suite Innovative Design are equipped with exclusive and original furnishings and decorations. suitable for a public looking for a suggestive and out of the ordinary stay.

It is located on the ground floor of a typical Bolognese historic building from the 1800s where there are no architectural barriers.

Beautiful structure, very clean and original. Negative notes. The room was too cold, even getting out of the shower was a struggle and the owner was rude. The daughter, on the other hand, was very nice.

I booked Cristina’s place almost last minute, and together with events in town, the price of all the rooms in Bologna is crazy. I am lucky to have found a place to stay in Bologna. I like the design of the green room, but it is very small. The air-conditioning seems to be not working at all. We are still thankful for the hospitality of Cristina, who is a nice lady.

The location itself is quite good: about 20 minutes walk to the old town center. Christina provides, upon request and with advance reservation, a secure parking space in the courtyard. Additional cost of €18.00/day, but okay. The room is quite peculiar in its furnishings. The light in the bathroom is 'dim', the barred window in the room is positioned very high. There is a lot of traffic noise until late in the evening. The TV is large enough, especially with Italian channels. However, a Firestick can be connected to receive German channels as well. The room and the bathroom are clean, the bed in the Princess 'suite' is comfortable. All in all, a recommended B&B.

Original B&B with a retro taste: a mix of antique and modern furniture. Our ground floor room was adjacent to the garden, where parking is allowed! The location allows you to reach the center in 10 minutes on foot! You are right in front of the Asinelli Tower, Neptune Fountain square and right behind in Piazza Maggiore. In the vicinity of the B&B, the area is served by grocery stores, pastry shop, and pizzeria. The room is equipped with a coffee machine and snacks, TV, and an in-room shower. Breakfast with croissants, cappuccino, and cookies available on request. The owner is a cheerful, friendly, and collaborative person.

Great structure, clean, comfortable, the only flaw is the bathroom lighting, a bit dim, maybe it's for the style and that's fine too, just need to add a light above the mirror.

Very stylish room, but with maintenance and cleaning issues. Found others' hair in the pillows, bathroom lights full of dust, had to clean the limescale off the phone before taking a shower. Mold smell when entering the room probably related to the leaking shower box.

Christina was amazing! The room was just what we needed and more! Right next to the bus routes and walking distance to shops, cafes, restaurants, the Bologna National Art Museum, etc! While the street it's on doesn't look like much, it really is a lovely area.

A very beautiful space, clean and detailed in every aspect. The owner, Cristina, is charming and super helpful. In addition to an impeccable room design, the B&B offers a very useful indoor parking space, for a fee. Furthermore, there is a small kitchen in the room, a coffee machine, and a microwave. The breakfast is minimal, but next to the B&B there is a lovely bar. The environment is full of light and has a very warm atmosphere. I will be back very soon.

During my visit to Bologna, I couldn't be more satisfied with the experience I had. Located near the heart of the city, I was able to enjoy the convenience of having all the main points of interest within walking distance. The B&B rooms are cozy and tastefully furnished. Every detail has been carefully taken care of, creating a comfortable and private atmosphere. The B&B also provided us with a complimentary breakfast which was greatly appreciated. Mrs. Cristina (the host) has been incredibly friendly and helpful since our arrival, providing us with detailed information about the city and recommending what to visit. In conclusion, if you are planning a visit to Bologna, I can only recommend staying at Mrs. Cristina's B&B.

This B&B is a fifteen-minute walk from Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers. Through the "Via Zamboni" you are immediately in the center. For a two-day visit to the city of Bologna, the B&B is exactly what you need. For me, it is important that the room is clean and that there is no night noise. And the room was exactly what I needed. Thank you Cristina. I will recommend it to all my friends! Maybe a small point of criticism: Adding some meat/cheese to the breakfast along with the rolls could be a good idea. Overall I am very pleased with my stay, albeit short, and I did not request breakfast so I cannot evaluate it. I stayed in the Plume Verte room, very elegant and unique. The only observation is that there are few outlets for electronic devices, I only found two in addition to the one for the lamp, but nothing that a triple socket cannot solve. The room is very clean and has a pleasant fragrance, but there are a couple of stains on the wall near the table, probably caused by spilled tea from some previous guest (tea is included in the price on arrival). The location is excellent, the city center is less than five minutes away on foot, and the bus shelter from which the one to the station passes is just as close. The girl who welcomed me was very kind and the check-in was very quick. For the check-out, she asked me to leave the keys at the door if she was not present. The only thing is that I did not understand how I could contact her if needed, but I didn't need it so I do not know how immediate the solution would have been.

The structure is located in the San Donato district, a few steps from the center of Bologna. It is not easy to park on the street but they eventually have their own parking lot to pay extra. The room was carefully furnished, not large but with well-studied spaces. The girl who welcomed us was very kind. We had a really good time.

Delightful Bed and Breakfast a short walk from the center, reachable with a pleasant stroll. The room is cozy, clean, and well arranged. Cristina welcomed us with a big smile and offered us the stay in the largest room available in the property. The room is stylishly furnished and we found it perfectly clean. Very convenient internal parking where to leave the car, even after checking out. Just a short walk from the center.

Room with all the necessary facilities for an optimal stay. It included a small portable kitchen (fridge, sink...) inside a closet. The breakfast left much to be desired compared to what we expected, even though we knew that in Italy the typical breakfast is coffee and some pastry or bakery, everything that was offered was prefabricated and already in the room on a table next to the bed. The coffee was in capsules and the sweets were industrial bakery products, when we would have preferred less quantity but something fresh and a freshly made coffee from a machine. The treatment of the owner was too impersonal and straight to the point on arrival: pay for the room and inform about the check-out, which being at 10:00 seemed a bit early compared to the norm.

We are having a good time in Bologna and at this b&b. Although very central, we can sleep well in the comfortable bed and quiet room. The hosts are helpful and very nice! The car is parked perfectly and safely. The room has a small kitchen but no utensils, but who needs a kitchen in Italy! Very pleased with the effective air conditioning because it is currently over 30 degrees in Bologna. One thing I would change is the curtains, even though they are multiple layers, they do not completely black out the large window. Be aware, in Italy, breakfast is never like what you are used to in other countries, the b&b offers some sweet treats and you can make yourself coffee in the room, but for a proper breakfast, head to a very nice bakery directly on the left (1 min.) for a fabulous breakfast, delicious cappuccinos, and fresh orange juice. Would definitely come back to this b&b!

Cristina and Antonio are two helpful and easy-going hosts. My partner and I stayed in the Princesse room, clean and equipped with all the essentials. A small suggestion for those who have difficulty sleeping with light: the blackout curtain does not completely filter the light so I recommend wearing a sleep mask.

We stayed at the property for 2 nights. Nice room, spacious and welcoming, clean and functional, equipped with everything. The only small thing out of place was the coffee machine that we didn't quite understand how it worked and gave us some trouble. The manager is very friendly and kind, we had a good time. If I had to come back, I would choose this property again, also considering the good location, close to the center and bus services even on weekends. Approved!

Great location, discreet, clean, excellent position. The only negative note: the price is very high. The room is small, the bathroom has no window, everything very clean, but 260 euros for two nights is a bit excessive. I go to Bologna at least once a month and I have never found such a price. The owner was very kind, helpful, and attentive, but I believe that at this price you can find a more spacious studio where you can also manage lunch and dinner without necessarily having to go to a restaurant with additional expenses.

The experience at the 'AB Suite Innovative Design' was very good, the furnishings are very particular and of design, the owner kind and helpful. The location is convenient for those who need to transit in the San Donato area or porta San Donato, but it is also an area well served by public transport so you can easily move around the city. Only the room service breakfast could be improved, otherwise the experience was pleasant. I will consider the B&B again.

Very nice, unique, and clean structure located inside a building with an independent entrance. Cristina will provide you with the keys to be completely autonomous in moving as you wish. Inside, the rooms are well taken care of in detail. In the princess suite, you can find a coffee machine, tea, and some snacks. Microwave and fridge available. The room is equipped with a Smart TV and Wi-Fi, hairdryer, and all the necessary bathroom items. Possibility to use the private parking for 15€ per day. They accept holiday bonuses. Great and well-stocked location.

The structure is well-maintained, with modern design in all environments and top cleanliness, especially in the bathroom (private). Breakfast, already set up in the room on a large table, was extensive and varied with a coffee machine with capsules, various packaged biscuits and brioches, milk, and fruit juices. The room is also oriented so that you have the feeling, once the door is closed, of being muffled and distant from traffic, albeit light in any case. The manager is very kind and the room price is excellent, as well as the fact that the city center is easily reachable on foot. The two towers are easily reachable.

A beautiful B&B, small but very well taken care of in the details and cleanliness. We couldn't have breakfast because we left very early, but in the room there was a table with everything and more, even the espresso coffee machine. The owner was very kind and helpful. With a minimal additional cost, we used the internal parking which, for those arriving by car, is a lifesaver (no stress parking). We highly recommend it and will definitely come back.

Everything absolutely great: the discreet and very helpful hostess, the beautiful room, the quiet yet convenient area, the perfect breakfast. Also in the evening, as there is a bus stop practically in front of the house door, even if you are alone or only women, with a little organization you can move around safely. Initially I had booked a single room but the owner immediately offered to make it a double and we were very comfortable. I will definitely come back.
