Description
It is a splendid eighteenth-century villa set in leafy grounds with palms, rare plants and trees over a hundred years old. This remarkable place, which was once part of the old Bourbon pheasant-shooting retreat connected to the Royal Palace in Portici, is still as beautiful and impressive today as it was when Portici was the favourite destination of eighteenth-century noblemen. The structure, located in the upper part of the town, called Bellavista, is currently a family Bed & Breakfast which has three large and bright rooms; of which, two are located on the main floor, while the third is an annex surrounded by the greenery of the park. The park, the large lounges, as well as the roof solarium with breathtaking views of the Gulf of Naples, are available to guests who can relax after an intense day; perhaps sharing a tea or a bottle of good wine with the owners.

Breakfast
Breakfast has always been our strong point: in addition to croissants, yogurt and jams, you can find homemade cakes, seasonal fruit, the orange juice from our orange trees, local cheeses and cured meats, and why not, tomato bruschetta, omelettes and much more; have you ever tried real Neapolitan coffee? If you have any particular requests, just ask and we will try to accommodate you. The entire buffet will be on display in the welcoming and bright eighteenth-century dining room. In the summer period, breakfast can be consumed externally in the courtyard.
Home Restaurant
Ask for a dinner, served in the courtyard, or for a fun cooking class (by Cesarine); you won't regret it..!

We manage B&B in our family house with dedication and sacrifice and, with your help, we will continue to keep this beautiful vesuvian villa of '700 that was already Royal Bourbon Fagianeria. So if you're looking for the warmth and hospitality of a typical Neapolitan family who will advise you in the best way, if you prefer to live your vacation days by following the customs and tasting the local products in a real bed and breakfast, rather than a detached hotel, if you can appreciate the splendor of an ancient house and forgive the defects caused by time, then, this is the place for you. You are welcome!

Area mid-centre
From Portici you can easily reach Herculaneum (15 minutes away on foot) and Pompeii to visit the archaeological excavations, but you can go as far as Sorrento with the Circumvesuviana metro (the Via Libertà stop is 700m away). For a bit of precious shopping you can reach the center of Portici and via Leonardo da Vinci with its shops and bars; the town also offer a large coice of restaurants for all budgets. Not to be missed is the nearby Torre del Greco, renowned throughout the world for its pearl and coral processing. Lovers of nature trails will be able to delve into the spectacular natural park of Vesuvius. It is also possible to visit the eighteenth-century Vesuvian Villas which in spring and summer are often the venue for cultural events, concerts and literary meetings. For those who need to stay for work or study, we are a short distance from the Agricultural University; from the Zooprophylactic Institute; from the Antoniano Foundation and we are happy to welcome students away from home for exams. The maritime connection from the Port of Granatello to the island of Capri has been active since April. Ask for personal tours; news coming soon!

This stay was the most memorable in our entire month's trip across almost 20 different cities. The hosts are absolutely wonderful and considerate and warm, and both the breakfasts and special home style dinner on request we were able to have cooked by Emma was absolutely delicious. It's absolutely a b&b I would come back to every time I visit Napoli.
