Situated by the slopes of Mount Vesuvius, in a quiet area, characterized by a cool summer and a mild winter rich in colour and sweet-smelling flowers, in a large garden with view of the sea and the volcano. In this quiet place, like heaven on earth, you can spend a regenerating and natural holiday, and you can also visit the nearby archaeological and tourist sites, the famous cities of art (Pompei and Ercolano), the holiday resorts of the Golfo di Napoli e of the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts (Positano, Vico Equense and Sorrento).

The extremely calm and privileged position of this heavenly corner is ideal for anyone who is looking for a holiday surrounded by nature and at the same time wanting to visit the celebrated cities of art (the excavations of Pompei and Ercolano) and the famous tourist localities of the Gulf of Naples and the Amalfi and Sorrento Coasts (Positano, Vico Equense, Sorrento). It is 1 km from Pompei, 6 km from Terme Stabiane, 9 km from Ercolano, 30 km from Positano and 20 km from Sorrento. By request, it’s possible to go on an excursion to Mount Vesuvius and 2 km away there is the Metrò del Mare (ferry-boats that reach the localities of the Amalfi and Sorrento coasts).

Torremerlata guests will taste the finer foods of the of the Campania Regional cooking, visit the well known seaside and tourist places, as well as taste the famous D. O. C. wine named Lacryma Christi among the first in the classification of national and international oenology. Well-known everywhere is the nectar i produced from the vines wedged in between the foot of Mount Vesuvius. Every morning we will prepare our rich neapolitan breakfast and when the weather is fine you will have the chance to taste a good coffee on the terrace or in the garden; breakfast is usually served in the kitchen or in the dining room. Fresh fruit is a must; the garden is full of it!

Area mid-centre

The property is located at the foot of Vesuvius, 1 km from Pompeii, 6 km from the Terme Stabiane, 9 km from Ercolano, 30 km from Positano and 20 km from Sorrento. On request it is possible to make excursions to Mount Vesuvius. It is also worth mentioning the presence at 2 km of the Metrò del Mare (ferries that offer the possibility of reaching the towns of the Amalfi and Sorrento Coast).

Useful information to reach us:

- From Rome and / or Naples: along the A3 Salerno-Reggio Calabria motorway you can easily reach by exiting the toll booths of Torre Annunziata Nord, Torre Annunziata Sud, Pompei Scavi, Pompei Sud. Then follow the signs always present for Boscoreale and Vesuvio.

- From Capodichino airport: the hotel is 20 km away.

- From the central railway station of Naples (Piazza Garibaldi) : taking the Circumvesuviana railway line you arrive in a few minutes to the Boscoreale station which is a few hundred meters from the hotel.

The owners are very kind and helpful people who are able to provide useful advice for visiting the beauties of the place. The property is well-kept and clean, featuring a beautiful garden characterized by plants, also spotting strawberry plants. The breakfast is abundant with the aromas of grandmother's breakfast. It also has parking inside the property. The location is ideal for those who want to visit Pompeii, Herculaneum, and the archaeological sites, take a walk along the coast, or go to Naples, as it is very close to the highway, or take the ferries to the islands. It was a wonderful stay in a hidden treasure, I will definitely and absolutely return.

Very beautiful, elegant, welcoming, and detailed structure, surrounded by a large garden (which I will reserve to enjoy on a sunny day), the structure also has a splendid reception hall, also very elegant, overlooking the garden. I stayed in a very beautiful, comfortable, and very clean room, located at the entrance of the structure and very close to the breakfast room (a small kitchen, also lovely and well furnished). I was welcomed by the exquisite kindness of the owner, kind in voice and in person (perception I had since our phone acquaintance), welcoming and caring like few others... besides being interested in having a good trip to get to her structure, she also welcomed me in the room with an exquisite limoncello (made by her) that I enjoyed despite the afternoon hour. For work reasons, I will probably go to Pompeii several times and will always choose to return to Torre Merlata.

We were greeted by Mrs. Annamaria and Enrico with warmth and kindness and with a great sense of hospitality. The property is surrounded by greenery with a meticulously cared for garden. Convenient parking. The breakfast is abundant and served in a beautiful room. The rooms are comfortable, the cleanliness is excellent. I would say one word: EXCELLENT. I will return and recommend it to everyone.

We were greeted by Mrs. Annamaria with extreme cordiality, she offered us a coffee and gave us all the directions to reach Naples and Pompeii. She also recommended some restaurants. The breakfast was abundant and served in a beautiful room. The room was comfortable, clean, and cozy. I recommend it!

The structure, as well as the room where we stayed, is very beautiful, clean, and comfortable, also equipped with a convenient guarded parking where we left our car without any worries. It is surrounded by a well-kept garden with fragrant plants and flowers. In the garden, there are beautiful gazebos under which we sat down to have the coffee they immediately prepared for us upon arrival, showing great hospitality (they also gave us valuable advice on restaurants with an excellent quality/price ratio and on the schedules of the museums and archaeological sites we were interested in visiting). Breakfast, served in a beautiful dining room, was tasty and abundant. Neapolitan coffee and sfogliata were superb.

We were welcomed very well by Mrs. Annamaria.\n\nVery nice garden, which is suitable, especially in the summer, for organizing ceremonies and events.\n\nThe room is welcoming and the breakfast is very good too.\n\nThe place is close to cultural sites of interest, such as the Pompeii excavations and Vesuvius.\n\nWe will definitely come back!

During our stay in Italy, we had 4 different accommodations (camping, hotel, B&B and B&B). This B&B was very clean! We had a view of Vesuvius from the room and there was a wonderful garden where we could eat the ripe mulberries from the tree. Very quiet location and everyone was friendly and helpful! Right next door there was a supermarket. It's a shame we couldn't stay a little longer.

An oasis at the foot of Vesuvius. Every time we come back, it's like being at home. In the morning, a splendid breakfast with a view of the gulf and Vesuvius, room always tidy and clean, super friendly staff and then Mrs. Annamaria, now a friend, and her husband Enrico are super kind people who love their B&B. Immense, well-kept garden. It is really worth staying here, in fact, we have already booked for September.
