The "Romantica Salerno" Bed and Breakfast is a newly opened facility located in the heart of the city of Salerno. The large balcony overlooks one of the main streets of the provincial capital, allowing guests to immediately appreciate its beauty and immerse themselves in the intense city life, especially during the cultural event "Luci d'Artista," which brings the entire Christmas period to life with its lights.

The elegant and romantic furnishings, from which the structure takes its name, the attention to detail, and the welcoming and warm atmosphere of the rooms make our B&B suitable for every type of stay.

We offer our guests a private parking lot nearby, with shuttle service to and from the B&B.

Breakfast

In our kitchen, we welcome our clients for breakfast. In the same room, we also have a corner equipped for tasting coffee, tea, and herbal teas, so that one can spend a relaxing moment before going to bed or to warm up on cold winter days spent outdoors, discovering the city.

Breakfast can be served to our guests directly in their room (arrangements must be made with the staff).

During the summer season, breakfast can also be enjoyed on the spacious balcony available to the three rooms, equipped with appropriate tables and chairs, in order to fully appreciate the climate and the beauty of the city or simply to sip a romantic evening drink.

Sara was a great host who waited for us even though our train was quite late. The apartment was clean, close to shopping areas, and right next to the water.

The accommodation could be kept better and could use a refresh. Breakfast is provided through an arrangement with a bar. The location is good: in the city center and not far from the station and the port, and especially close to restaurants and shops.

Fairly simple, although they only had a small unlabeled fridge with little space and other guests ended up taking our food. There was no kitchen to cook pasta or vegetables. There were no knives to cut fruit properly. The breakfast is typically Italian; they only had sweet options and nothing savory. The TV was an old model without Smart TV. The elevator is old and tiny. The air conditioning is noteworthy and appreciated during this summer season, but it was only in the bedroom; the kitchenette had nothing and was very hot.

This is a great B&B in Salerno. It is located in a spectacular area, about a 20-minute walk from the train station and 2-3 minutes from the bus stop. Grocery stores are nearby, and there are many great cafes and restaurants within a 5-minute walk. I would recommend Mamma Rosa, A Sud, Pizzium, and Pizzeria Saporito. The property has a shared kitchen where you can have coffee or tea. The room is very clean and cozy with great design; it has decent space. The host mostly speaks Italian, but there were no issues with communication. I would advise agreeing on a check-in time in advance so you do not have to wait on the street.

Although we had notified with the indicated advance, we had to wait a little over half an hour outside the entrance door on a rainy evening. When we arrived, after 14 hours of flight plus 3 hours by train, we had no water until after 9 p.m. While we understand the problem was unforeseen, when we told him they could have informed us earlier, the manager showed no empathy and told us that, if we wanted, we could go to another place (in the rain and with the luggage of four people). Breakfast was served in a café across the street; the cappuccinos were cold the two times we went.

We stayed there for our Amalfitan trip. The location was perfect, close to the station, center and ports to part to Positano, Capri. The room was clean and very cozy, the owner very friendly. Had a good experience overall.

The room was in unsatisfactory condition, rather noisy due to the busy street. To make tea in the morning, you have to heat the water in the microwave, which is not energy-efficient at all - after 4 minutes at 750W the water is barely hot - a kettle would be needed. We only briefly met the landlords for the key handover, so the assistance leaves something to be desired.

The property was very clean, quiet, and comfortable. It was conveniently located to the train station as well as the ferries. However, there is no self-check in, and the host does not live on-site, so when we arrived, we had to wait for almost an hour for her to come let us in. This was after about 6 hours on a train, so not acceptable. We almost left. The host had asked us our arrival time, and in fact, we arrived a few minutes after anticipated because the train was about 10 minutes late, and still the host was not there and we had to wait an hour.

Very nice room, very comfortable bed, very nice bathroom. The host was very helpful and lovely. The Romantica Salerno is optimally located near the old town and the shopping district. We will gladly come back. Easy to reach on foot in about 10 minutes from the train station. We could have breakfast (Italian style, cappuccino, juice, croissant) in a bar on the promenade with a voucher. I would recommend it.

We stayed for three nights, we had a great time both for the central location of the property close to shopping and restaurants and 20 meters from the seafront, and for the completely renovated room and bathroom, all immaculately clean. The cleaning lady was very kind as well as the manager. Excellent breakfast at the pastry shop near the accommodation. If we come back to Salerno we will definitely book at Romantica Salerno.

The welcome, kindness, and friendliness of Giuseppe, always available and ready to give advice on how to move around Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. We stayed for four nights with three couples of friends and we had a good time, spacious rooms and what about the bathrooms? With the manager Giuseppe, we also spent a day on a boat discovering the coast, a fantastic experience that will remain unforgettable in each of us. The B&B Romantica Salerno is highly recommended to everyone, especially for its location.

We couldn't have asked for anything better! The two rooms we occupied were wonderful, very clean and equipped with every comfort. There was even a small fridge that allowed us to keep our drinks and fresh water for the scorching day ahead, the bed very comfortable and even an extra pillow available, impeccable linens available, the perfect location: a stone's throw from the ferry embarkation point that took us to the Amalfi Coast and practically a step away from the pedestrian area full of bars, shops, and restaurants. Giuseppe welcomed us in the best way and I just say that my brother invited him to come visit us in Sardinia where we live, friendly and super helpful. If I could give 10 stars I would, we can't wait to go back!

Comfortable stay in a spacious and tastefully decorated room. Everything was clean (but I recommend reapplying some silicone around the tub, it's getting dark). The b&b's location is convenient for the proximity to the train station and the port. Quick communication with the owner for a last-minute booking. Excellent option to have breakfast at the bar for those who leave before the regular breakfast time. Unfortunately, I have to report that the check-in was done without a mask, I had to ask to wear one.
