Descrizione

The pension "Gennaro House", dipped in the green of the garden, the vineyards and the orchards, is situated on the Island of Ischia - pearl of the Gulf of Naples - along the provincial road that give to Panza door to S. Angelo. All the rooms enjoy an optimal panoramic position and decide of private bath, television set and, to choice, of one terrace for sun cures or a balcony. The pension have a private parking. The tranquillity, the kitchen particularly cured home-made, the good local wine and the optimal treatment, are some of the guarantees offered from the house in order to render more nice Your vacation
The charming suburb of Sant'Angelo, an ancient time village of fishermen, and the beautiful beach of the island (Bay of Sorgeto, Maronti, Citara with the Terme Poseidon, Cavascura with the Terme Tropical, the Bay of S. Montano with the Terme Negombo) to be distant only little minutes. Stopping of the bus just in front of the pension renders the connections also with the average publics easy and comfortable.

This place was magical! The views were stunning, and the apartments were nicely cleaned every day. It's a little bit of a walk from the restaurants and beaches, but it also meant we were away from the busiest tourist areas.\n\nBut what made our stay unforgettable were Leonardo and Nicolò. From the moment we arrived, they treated us like old friends. We can't thank Leonardo enough for the endless tips and recommendations we got each day. One morning at breakfast, we mentioned that we were thinking of renting a scooter. Leonardo made a quick call, and before we had even finished eating, a scooter had arrived right outside.\n\nWe will, without a doubt, return!

Vacation, just as it should be: I spent five relaxing, happy days at Casa Genarro during my first vacation in Ischia. A large room with a terrace, sun chair, and a magnificent view of the sea/the rock of Sant'Angelo, a warm host, and a great location. I walked for 10-15 minutes to Sant'Angelo (including beach, shops), there are several good restaurants within walking distance, and right outside the door, three bus lines stop that take you to all the places in Ischia. Whether it's a visit to the thermal baths, sightseeing, beach, city strolls, or hikes - everything is easily accessible. Every morning I looked forward to the good coffee and the big breakfast, which just needed a bit of fruit or juice to receive a full score of 10. Also, a chat with host Leonardo, who is happy to give tips on all questions and speaks wonderful German. Conclusion: I will gladly return because I still need to climb Mount Epomeo :)

Excellent location near the wonderful village of Sant'Angelo. Convenient also with public transport. Breakfast served on the terrace in peace and with a fantastic view. The highlight is Gennaro and Nicola, welcoming and always available. If you like simple places, do not hesitate to book. Thank you for everything.

Leonardo. (Great) welcomes you kindly and proves to be helpful. He advises you on where to go, where to eat, and the excursions on the island. My room was on the ground floor with a small balcony and the view was on S. Angelo. Sorgeto, which in my opinion is the most beautiful place, is practically attached but it takes a long descent to get there (you can reach it by car/motorbike and there is a nice staircase; you don't pay anything not even for parking but the places are not many). The sunbeds in S. Angelo cost 20€ (10€ for half a day). Breakfast at the B&B is served at the table and Leonardo brings you what you want. There is air conditioning in the rooms but there is no refrigerator. We took a boat trip (recommended by Leonardo) with a tour of the island and a stop in the coves. With 70€ per person, you spend a nice day (until 5 pm) and it includes the aperitif, the meal, water at will, limoncello liqueur, fresh fruit. I recommend it. In short, I spent a good week here. A tip: in Forio there is a bar for aperitifs, etc. It's called DIVINO CAFFÈ. It is the most expensive on the island. Prices that you don't even see in Capri, and they serve you inedible sweets, avoid it!! Instead, go to the TINAIA.

Simple, cozy and family-friendly structure with real home cooking, very beautiful sea view panorama. Structure excellently managed by the friendly and always available Leonardo and his friend Nicolò. Highly recommended for those looking for quality and courtesy in a simple yet genuine setting.

Abandon all hope of returning home, the Poet would have said: it's a dream place, you would never want to leave and every day there is something to see and discover on the magnificent Island of Ischia. Pensione Casa Gennaro is new, clean, detailed, the manager Leonardo and his organization are impeccable, the food is excellent and abundant, of quality, fresh and daily, in fact almost all products come from their farm and ripe apricots are within reach. However, I do not forget the hospitality and kindness of all the staff, the availability and patience. Thanks to Mamma Viola, to Leonardo, to the kind Nicolò who willingly accompanied us to the Borgo di Sant'Angelo with the traditional Ischian small car. Good luck to all.

Pensione Casa Gennaro a one-star but for us it's worth five! 5 stars if you are looking for relaxation, value for money, the strategic location to reach every part of the Island, the excellent food and abundance in the dishes, maximum cleanliness, this is the right place. We returned to Ischia after a few years and found the warm welcome of Gennaro's family, Viola, Rosa, and Leonardo, and it was like reuniting with friends right away. We were pampered, once again, by Mama Viola with her excellent and abundant cooking and by Papa Gennaro with the fruits of his garden. Leonardo and Rosa accompanied us in every wish and returning to normal life was not easy. Thank you all for your beautiful family and your welcoming.
