Description
Located in the heart of Ercolano, directly across from the main entrance to the Archaeological Excavations, this elegant accommodation is housed within a fully renovated 19th-century historic building, which opened in December 2025. The structure retains the original charm of its period architecture, reimagined through refined and contemporary spaces designed to provide a comfortable and distinctive stay.
The location is one of its main strengths: perfectly connected by public transport and strategically positioned for exploring the entire Vesuvius area and the Gulf of Naples. In less than twenty minutes, you can reach Naples, the Archaeological Excavations of Pompeii, Torre del Greco, and Sorrento, while Positano, Amalfi, and the island of Capri are easily accessible thanks to both road and sea connections. Additionally, the Vesuvius, the historic Vesuvius Villas, and the tourist dock are just a short distance away.
The establishment offers six exclusive rooms, meticulously designed to ensure comfort and functionality. All accommodations include a private bathroom with a hydromassage shower, a 42” Smart TV, autonomous heating/cooling, a concierge tablet, a minibar, a safe, a hairdryer, and a touch mirror. The double or twin beds feature high-quality toppers and carefully selected linens for both the bedroom and bathroom, creating a cozy and elegant atmosphere.
The breakfast and bar area is situated within a charming cellar made of authentic Neapolitan tuff, skillfully restored and enhanced, where history and design coexist in an intimate and distinctive environment. Breakfast is served in an Italian style, with options for continental dishes and gluten-free choices available.
The facility also hosts a permanent exhibition dedicated to young local artists, providing guests with an experience that combines hospitality, art, and local culture. Room cleaning is performed after each check-out and every three days for extended stays, with daily tidying ensured.
This is an ideal solution for those looking to experience the Gulf of Naples from a central and exclusive location, immersed in a refined environment rich in history.

There are places born from a project.
And then there are places born from a choice of the heart.
Palazzo Ferretti comes to life from the dream of two sisters, raised in the streets of Ercolano, with the everyday beauty of an extraordinary land in their eyes and a clear idea in their minds: to restore value to what belongs to their own history.
When we decided to restore a 19th-century palace in the heart of the city, directly facing the Herculaneum Archaeological Park, we did not simply want to renovate a building. We wanted to reignite a presence.
To give voice back to ancient walls.
To transform a historic space into a place capable of generating the future.
The restoration was an act of respect and vision: preserving the soul of the palace, enhancing its original elegance, and integrating it with contemporary comfort, attention to detail, and a refined yet authentic idea of hospitality.
But the true project went beyond the rooms, beyond the furnishings, beyond the design.
We envisioned Palazzo Ferretti as a cultural hub — a crossroads of experiences, people, and opportunities. A place where those who arrive are not simply guests, but become part of a living network of local artists, passionate guides, artisans, producers, and storytellers of the territory.
From the silent charm of Mount Vesuvius to the itineraries among the Vesuvian Villas, from the millenary stories preserved within the ruins to the contemporary art hosted inside the palace, every experience is born from the desire to tell this land in an authentic way. For us, hospitality is not just welcoming:
it is connection.
It is sharing.
It is pride in our roots.
Palazzo Ferretti is the result of a courageous choice: investing in our city, believing in culture as a driver of development, creating a space that unites beauty, identity, and vision.
