Description

The B&B Orto Paradiso is located in the panoramic area of the ancient seaside village of Minori and is nestled on the same hilly slope as the town of Ravello.

In fact, the panoramic staircase to reach us is the same famous staircase that every day leads dozens and dozens of tourists to the beautiful music city.

Thanks to its privileged position, it enjoys the same visual perspective on the eastern coastal coastline, so much praised and painted by famous artist-travelers over the centuries.

Suspended between sky and sea, the B&B Orto Paradiso is an extraordinary property of over 2000 square meters of lush Mediterranean nature.

The property is arranged on terraced terraces cultivated with an orchard and supported by typical dry stone walls built with the ancient method called 'dry'.

The rooms are immersed in a context of lemon groves, of the native breed called 'sfusato amalfitanò and among ancient olive trees.

This natural scenario makes the place highly representative of the 'Mediterranean landscapè, as described by UNESCO that defines the Amalfi Coast "a land covered with terraces, with dry stone walls used for the cultivation of citrus fruits and other fruits, olive trees, vines and vegetables of all kinds".

From the private terraces of our few rooms - all furnished with local tiles and equipped with every comfort - it is possible to enjoy the bright coastal panorama and be immersed in this unique natural scenario.

On the belvedere terraces, around the pool area, you can sunbathe on comfortable loungers and have breakfast or brunch in total privacy, relaxation and well-being.

Through genuine and 'passionatè hospitality, the B&B offers an environment of warmth and the feeling of being like in a 'private homè, in contact with authentic local life.

The customer is carefully followed and guided to the discovery of the cultural, historical and gastronomic peculiarities of the territory.

Breakfast

Breakfast is eaten under the centuries-old olive trees, on the picturesque 'majolica terracè, named after a bench made of local ceramics depicting traditional scenes of the local culture and the town of Minori.

The "Italian-style" breakfast includes a sweet and a savory part.

The B&B Orto Paradiso was established in 2001 on the basis of an idea that later became the project of Flavio and Miranda. He is an art professor, born and raised in the family hotel tradition and she is a teacher of Italian literature, passionate about protecting the environment.

B&B Orto Paradiso is really suspended between sky and sea, between lemon and olive groves, which descend along the coast down to the sea.

2000 square meters of open space, just at the beginning of the path that leads to nearby Ravello.

After a characteristic panoramic walk you can reach the town center and the sea.

Today, the B&B is operated by BLUEITER, represented by one of the three children of Flavio and Miranda.

The Orto Paradiso bed and breakfast is located in the panoramic area of the ancient Roman village of Minori. The property, which covers over 2000 square meters of outdoor spaces, is nestled among the terraces of native lemons and centuries-old olive trees that slope down towards the sea along the same hillside slope line as the city of Ravello. In fact, the B&B is located just on the initial ramp of the scenic and popular path that, from the Santa Croce square in the village of Minori, moves foreign tourists every day from the coast to the beautiful "mountainous coast". The square can be reached from the Minori waterfront area in just a few minutes by car, motorbike, or the internal public transport service in the village. The walk is then rewarded by the unique panorama: an exclusive viewpoint of the sea of the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno.

The most charming place with so so nice and friendly host and staff. One of the things we really enjoyed was the possibility of getting a swim in the swimming pool. \nAlthough the stairs caused a little trouble, we wouldn't have missed it, because the view at Orto Paradiso was/is absolutely fantastic. \nWe will definitely return to Orto Paradiso. \nGorgeous.

Absolutely amazing place. My daughter and I stayed for four days and were completely amazed by the scenery, everywhere you looked the views were out of this world. The swimming pool was great, perfect temperature and with a view as well, we felt very welcome by the staff and enjoyed our chats with Filippo, he was very helpful. Breakfast was served on a terrace overlooking the panoramic views of the sea and town. We enjoyed the homemade marmalades and jams very much. I will definitely be back again one day! Such a unique property that lives up to its name. Orto Paradiso.

Great location. Great view. Dream room. There are many stairs up to the B&B but it's worth it. The staff is very polite. They also help with daily planning (route to Ravello, Capri, bus rides, restaurants, etc.). One can also take the day easy. The pool is not big but you can cool off and swim. The kitchen in the room is enough for light meals. We will gladly come back.

A true paradise. Not for everyone because it is reachable by a staircase of 150 steps, but it's worth it. Excellent breakfast, with sweet and savory options and a spectacular view. Thanks to Filippo and his father for the hospitality and kindness. Small kitchen area in the room. Space for outdoor dining in front of the room. We hope to be able to return.

In general, the rooms are rented with self-catering options and breakfast is a sweet extra. + Shopping facilities are optimally accessible and offer everything you need on vacation. + Minori and its small beach are fantastic, a bit quieter in September and therefore very suitable for relaxation.

Orto Paradiso - the name stands for itself. It's absolutely beautiful and one of the nicest furnished places I've seen on the Amalfi coast. The owners are lovely and very helpful and don't hesitate to give you recommendations regarding walks to Ravello or Maiori, which you should really do. Especially the walk to Ravello is worth the steps (there are a lot of them). Would recommend this place to everyone who is traveling to the Amalfi coast, especially because Minori is not as touristy as Maiori. Oh, and the view from the terrace is breathtaking.

It couldn't have had a more fitting name, a real paradise, beautiful, comfortable, well-kept. Already the breakfast alone on the terrace, overlooking the coast, repaid us for the cost of the stay. A beautiful place! After, admittedly, a tiring climb, the guest is greeted with a true paradise: a family-run property with a panoramic view of the picturesque Minori, the tranquil bay, and the deep blue sea (at your feet). The rooms are tastefully furnished, nothing is missing, and spread out on terraces, nestled in the greenery among lemon and olive trees. The delicious breakfast is served outdoors, with the morning sun and a view of the awakening Minori valley. Filippo, Giorgio, and Antonietta fulfill (almost) every guest's wish and provide tips and ideas. After sweaty hikes, the charming pool refreshes and the property offers plenty of cozy sunbathing space. We felt very comfortable!

I highly recommend staying at Orto Paradiso B&B! It is a fantastic facility, with all the amenities. One thing that struck me is the tranquility of this place, the central location, and the warmth and affection of the owner Filippo. My partner and I felt at home right away. An extremely abundant breakfast and I recommend trying their lemon and orange marmalades, produced by them. Exquisite. Filippo is a lovely person and the B&B offers relaxation and a beautiful pool. The rooms are stunning and each room has its own reserved outdoor space. It was two fantastic days. I thank the owner Filippo and all his staff! We will definitely return because once you are there, you suddenly forget about the stress of the city and enter a world of your own! I am truly happy to have been there with my partner. Thank you.

A magnificent place with a breathtaking view of the coast.\n\nEach room has its own private terrace, breakfast is served in the garden with a view.\n\nThe decoration is very beautiful, typical of the region.\n\nMinori is cute, much more authentic than Amalfi and Positano, with good restaurants at reasonable prices.\n\nThe owner, his son, Davide, and Giorgio are there to advise you.\n\nThe room has a small fridge, already filled with drinks, sparkling water, and coffee at will. The small kitchen is at your disposal, you can prepare a dinner to enjoy on your terrace in the evening.\n\nThe only drawback is that it is far from everything, with many stairs to climb.\n\nNo restaurant, café, shop nearby.\n\nThere is a bus that takes you nearby (there are still 160 steps to take), but it only runs once an hour. In August and July, the bus goes up the hill until 11 pm, outside the season only until 8 pm.\n\nIf the physical effort does not bother you, it is a magical place, to be recommended!\nWe had an excellent stay!
