Hello, we are Bruno and Amanda, the owners of Napoli Naif. We are a cheerful and dynamic couple, and we have recently been joined by our little one, Jacques. We have many interests and a strong curiosity, and we enjoy meeting people to share stories and experiences. This desire led us to open Napoli Naif, a place that combines our love for art with our eagerness to connect and share.

We are an easygoing couple, and we love it when our guests feel comfortable with us, especially in our establishment, as if it were their second home.

Napoli Naif is located just a short walk from Piazza Garibaldi, in the Maddalena neighborhood, a lively area rich in authentic Neapolitan culture.

Within a few steps from our establishment, you can discover remarkable historical sites, including the historic city gates, Porta Capuana (290 m), Porta Nolana (550 m), the Basilica of the Holy Annunciation (110 m) featuring the famous wheel for abandoned infants, the Church of Carmine (800 m), Naples Underground (950 m), the San Severo Chapel Museum (1.3 km), the Royal Palace (2 km), and many more.

This city will not only delight your eyes but is sure to satisfy your appetite as well. Within walking distance, you'll find some of the most famous Neapolitan pizzerias, including L’Antica Pizzeria da Michele (400 meters) and Sorbillo (1.1 km), among others.

The breakfast was not as advertised. The bathroom in the Vincent room needs maintenance and the bed linen and towels were dirty. It's a pity because expectations were high. The area, convenient to the station, has the same problems as many other cities; you need to be a bit careful. Thanks to Antonio, who was very attentive in welcoming us.

Everything was great. The only downside was that we couldn't find the sugar for the coffee the next morning and that I had to refill the coffee machine (because the other guests had consumed everything).

The owners were always kind and super helpful. The location, being so central, was very convenient for some moves, but in my opinion in a part of the city that is not particularly nice. The Frida room was quiet and I had no problems with water or anything else. I thank the owners who always treated us with care.

Ciao Federica ti ringrazio, certo non posso dire di essere felice per la recensione che ci hai lasciato, Posso capire che il quartiere non é il migliore della città ma nella valutazione di una posizione si dovrebbe anche includere una valutazione della centralitá, della facilità di arrivare alla struttura, della distanza dai poli di attrazione, e dai mezzi pubblici cose per cui il nostro b&b avrebbe sicuramente un voto alto. Così come sulla pulizia, le stanze vengono pulite ogni giorno, ora non so se ci sono state particolari problematiche e se fosse, te ne chiedo scusa ma nel caso comunque non ci sono stare riferite. Spesso i clienti danno voti forse non ben valutati e ponderati senza rendersi a pieno di quanto queste recensioni possano colpire e penalizzare il nostro lavoro. Detto questo spero che ci sarà occasione di poterti ospitare ancora per farti ricredere almeno sulle cose su cui abbiamo il potere di intervenire, purtroppo la città non dipende da noi. The assigned room does not meet expectations. The loft is uncomfortable. The shower with sliding door is narrow. The bidet drain is not working and regurgitates dirty water. The room comes with a fridge that we were told was usable, but unfortunately it was off and had a musty smell. Not satisfactory. Perhaps the other rooms are better?

We stayed during the Easter holidays. We felt at home. Located near the central station and metro, yet within walking distance from the historic center. Self-service breakfast was included in a common room with the possibility (much appreciated) to go down to the bar for warm croissants. As it was Easter, they left us a dove and chocolate eggs in the room. The room was cleaned and the linen changed even on Easter and Easter Monday. The owner was very kind and extremely helpful for any needs we had. Overall, it was a positive experience, and we have pledged to return to Naples as soon as possible.

I know I've given 10's across the board, but I can't think of anything we felt was missing. It's exactly as described, a wonderfully quirky apartment, with a shared lounge & a balcony view of the neighborhood. We would sit out there planning our day while enjoying a coffee & a freshly made croissant of a morning. Each room has its own theme. We did not see the other rooms, but I'm sure they were all as good as ours. We stayed in the Van Gogh room. It was beautifully decorated throughout without being overdone. There was plenty of space to store our clothes etc, a TV, radio and good internet. And, the end of a hard days sightseeing, it was great to know a nice comfy bed awaited us! The bathroom has a great shower, plug points, and a hairdryer too. Plenty of towels were also provided. The shared lounge is airy and light, and full of charm. A nice space to chill in at the end of the day. We chose the location as it's close to the main station for trains, the metro and buses. We chose this B&B because we both thought it had a good vibe about it, we're into the arts, and it looked cosy. Bruno is a excellent host, he and his friend made us feel very welcome. We will be coming back to Naples, and would definitely stay here again.

Napoli Naif is a 7-minute walk, with luggage, from the train station, so very convenient for trains, metro, circumvesuviana. On the other side, you are very close to via San Biagio dei Librai and via dei Tribunali. The room was very beautiful and clean, in one of the classic old buildings of Naples, in a street also very 'characteristic', with shops run by people of all nationalities, but I had a great time and we also came back late. About the room, I can say that the bed was great, the bathroom clean. There was the possibility to have breakfast, but with packaged products, and the coffee machine with pods available. However, we preferred to take advantage of the various pastry shops available within a few steps, but first we enjoyed the coffee in the room. We found in Antonio a helpful and kind person, immediately ready to meet our requests or issues. Thanks again for everything and I will definitely come back to repeat the wonderful vacation.

I waited for some time to write this review, as I wanted to let the disappointment I felt settle. The apartment sold for 4 people barely accommodates 3, if the 4th person is a child it's highly unlikely to bring them to the travel cot set up on the loft, which is practically impossible and dangerous to reach with a child in your arms. Even worse to let them reach it on their own as the spiral staircase is definitely dangerous (video follows). In the loft where the double bed is, the height is barely 1.60/65m, I would say it's not up to standard. A corpulent person, not even very much, is unable to reach the loft because the spiral staircase is very narrow and the tread is for a foot up to size 36. In the bathroom, besides hardly ever having hot water in 6 days even after calling, there are makeshift soap and shower gel dispensers that are not up to standard and unhygienic. Furthermore, being a bathroom without a window, located under the loft, it has no ventilation for air exchange. When we arrived, they asked us to pay in cash because the ATM wasn't working/available (we didn't understand it well) and only after requesting for the second time (1 via email) they gave us the receipt but with 40 € less than what we paid. I would say a place to avoid especially for safety reasons.

Salve siamo molto dispiaciuti per la vostra recensione e saremo lieti di ospitarvi nuovamente per cercare di darvi una migliore esperienza nella nostra struttura. Detto questo ci tengo a chiarire alcuni punti molto importanti. In primis, la stanza Frida è fittata sempre per coppie o massimo per tre persone e se in passato era data la possibilità di fittarla per 4 era esplicitamente soltanto nel caso di coppie con due bimbi piccoli. In ogni caso data la caratteristica della camera ci abbiamo sempre tenuto a contattare i turisti subito dopo la prenotazione per chiarire il gradimento della camera e del letto sul soppalco. Per quanto riguarda la scala a chiocciola è una classica scala in legno massello con pedate dalla larghezza standard. I dispencer sono semplici dispenser che sono regolarmente ripuliti ogni giorno come tutta la struttura. Per l'acqua calda non abbiamo mai avuto problemi in passato ne dopo, il nostro collaboratore vi venne a spiegare semplicemente la necessità di regolare il miscelatore lentamente in modo da mantenere il flusso costante ed evitare che l'acqua calda potesse staccarsi. Infine la cosa che ci tengo di più riguarda la ricevuta, in quel caso avevamo avuto un problema col pos, ma questo non c'entra nulla con la ricevuta in quanto avremmo fornito comunque la ricevuta cartacea, ricevuta cartacea. Infine i 40 euro in meno riguardano la tassa di soggiorno che non incassiamo noi ma sono soldi che vengono versati direttamente al comune e quindi non sono stati inseriti nella ricevuta. Unrealistic photos. The room is pitiful, with a very low loft and a dangerously leaning spiral staircase. The bathroom is unsuitable, with a broken shower door. There is a fridge with a door that needs to be propped closed with a chair. Bins are not emptied and bathrooms are not cleaned during the stay. What can I say, "strongly not recommended".

Detto questo mi permetto di rispondere alle sue critiche per preservare il nostro lavoro. Innanzi tutto penso che sia molto importante esprimere il proprio malcontento quando si è in una struttura perchè in tal caso il proprietario può intervenire per risolvere un eventuale problema e migliorare l'esperienza del cliente, ma nel suo caso non abbiamo avuto alcuna richiesta o tantomeno comunicazione di un eventuale problema. Per quanto riguarda le foto è la prima persona che ci abbia mai riportato questa problematica anzi tutti hanno sempre apprezzato la conformità del materiale fotografico alla realtà tant'è vero che le diemensioni del soppalco sono facilmente riscontrabili già dalla foto. La scala a chiocciola è una regolare scala in legno massello, e il frigo tutt'oggi si chiude da solo forse semplicemente se ci si mette una bottiglia in modo sbagliato potrebbe comprometterne la chiusura come in qualsiasi frigo, Per la pulizia mi sembra strano anche perchè siamo fieri di avere delle recensioni molto alte sulle principali piattaforme di prenotazione, ma se nel suo caso ci dovesse esser stata una mancanza le chiedo scusa e saremo pronti a fare meglio la prossima volta.
