The B&B Latomare is situated in the central Mergellina area, just few steps from the promenade of Via Caracciolo in a stately home in historic building.
The Bed & Breakfast offers one comfortable room for a maximum of 4 people receptivity. The room, is equipped with a sleeping area (with the possibility of twin or double beds) and a living area with sofa, desk, TV, fridge and internet connection. The room is air conditioned. It 's always at once disposal a minibar in the room, included in price. The private bathroom, spacious and bright, is exclusive, not en suite.
The breakfast, offered taking into account the preferences of the guests, is served in the living room of the house, from which you can see a view of the famous bay.
In the immediate surroundings are the subway lines, as well as the boarding of the hydrofoils to Ischia and the Aeolian Islands. A few steps away is the U. S. Consulate, Dohrn Zoological Station (aquarium) and the picturesque tower of the local market.

Renata Pollio, who works as a teacher, manages "Latomare". Since the spring of 2010, she has embraced the idea of her daughter Marina to turn part of their home into a B&B. Since then, her commitment and enthusiasm have grown with the aim of improving the hospitality of guests, as well as the comfort of the spaces and services offered. The experience has also been positive from a cultural exchange perspective: there are often international contacts during university conferences or short trips of small groups of family or friends who seek a friendly and informal accommodation. Evidence of all this can be found in the B&B's "logbook", where guests leave comments about their stay, tips, and always a goodbye message.

A room in a family home with decor showing decades of use. The bed had a good mattress and the bathroom was outside the room, but fully equipped and with spectacular water pressure. Renata is a very attentive but not intrusive host. The breakfast is very tasty. A few meters from the coast and with a view of the bay from the room window, a luxury.

I found more than good, I would say excellent. Mrs. Renata is truly a lovely person. I recommend the B&B LatoMare to everyone not only for the kindness and hospitality but also for the sea view that overlooks from the terrace of the facility. Personally, I compliment the landlady Renata and wish her much serenity.
