Description

Welcome to the B&B "La Vecchia Fattoria", a renovated old farmhouse located in the hilly area of Giovi in Salerno. This charming farmhouse has preserved some original elements such as stone walls, a large courtyard surrounded by greenery, and spacious terraces. Our B&B is just a few kilometers away from the city center and the sea, offering a splendid view of the Gulf of Salerno and the surrounding hills. Here, you can immerse yourself in a familiar and welcoming environment. In the month of June, the place comes alive with fireflies, creating a magical atmosphere.

Our B&B has four rooms, each with independent entrance and private bathroom, tastefully furnished and equipped with every comfort. Each room has a name inspired by nature: Lilac, Turquoise, Sunflower, and Green (Quadruple). The rooms are bright and peaceful, ideal for resting after a day of sightseeing or relaxation at the beach.

The property offers its guests a closed parking area, free WiFi, heated rooms, and the freedom to come back at any time. Additionally, guests can enjoy a lovely garden and spacious terraces to relax or have breakfast. Breakfast is personalized upon request.

It is the perfect place for families traveling, who will feel at home here, for business or pleasure trips, for a romantic getaway for two, for those seeking peace and tranquility in contact with nature, away from the noise of the city. It is an old renovated farmhouse that has preserved some original elements: stone wall sections, a large courtyard surrounded by greenery and spacious terraces.
Here the stay is perfect for those who love to rest in a quiet, unspoiled, romantic environment. The welcome is friendly and discreet: we are ready to satisfy, as far as possible, any request you may have: in particular, breakfast, included in the price, can be personalized.

The structure has been completely renovated externally. The room left a lot to be desired. I will not return due to the absence of air conditioning. On a hot night, there was a poorly functioning and noisy fan for support.

The structure is just a few dozen minutes by car from the city of Salerno and is a functional base for visiting Salerno and the Cilento. From the villa, one enjoys a beautiful view of a glimpse of Salerno and the sea framed by the green hills overlooking the structure. During our stay, we particularly appreciated the silence and tranquility enjoyed from the house; the hospitality, availability, and genuineness of the owners; the cleanliness of the structure and the bright terrace. We will be happy to return here for our next trip to the Cilento! Thank you Filomena and Gianni.

During the first weekend of September, I had the privilege of staying at this B&B: the place is wonderful and is immersed in the most splendid peace and tranquility of the countryside and the landscape is also very evocative. For me, who lives in a quiet village in the province, it felt like being at home and I enjoyed total relaxation with the advantage of being less than ten minutes by car from the center of Salerno, so I did not suffer from the chaos, the noises, and the smells of the city center. The owners are two exquisite people. The lady, moreover, pampers us guests with a plentiful and varied breakfast and thanks to this during my stay in Salerno, I was even able to not worry about lunch. I felt so good that if I find a free room for next year, when I will repeat the annual event that takes place in that period in Salerno, I will book again without any doubt.

The owners are lovely people, in the evening when we returned before going to our room, we had a pleasant chat in the cool of their garden, with a glass of limoncello, and this alone repays the cost of the accommodation. Very good breakfast, Mr. Gianni goes to get very delicious brioches in a nearby bakery. The rooms are clean and colorful, thanks to the art of Mrs. Mena, and you sleep well and cool, with the melody of the cicadas as the only background sound, despite the heat of Salerno, since it is on a hill but less than ten minutes from the center. The rooms do not have a TV and it may be a small flaw but it is more pleasant to chat with them! Perhaps if I can give a piece of advice that I forgot to say personally is to have a mini-fridge in the room but empty, with the summer heat finding even just a couple of water bottles would have been very pleasant!

Excellent facility, a few kilometers from the center, with an excellent view. Absolute relaxation, the lady who manages the facility is very helpful for any request, always ready to have a chat and offer a coffee.
