Hello, I'm Manuela. We've chosen to rent out our home to share the beauty of Sant'Agata dè Goti and its surroundings with others. It has been a pleasure to gradually renovate the house, restoring and refurbishing some furniture and items. I enjoy drawing and cooking whenever I have the time, and I generally love engaging in all things creative.

Sant'Agata de' Goti is one of the most beautiful and well-preserved medieval villages in Italy. Since 2005, it has been awarded the orange flag, a quality certification granted by the Touring Club Italiano to small inland municipalities (with a maximum population of 15,000) that stand out for their excellent offerings and high-quality hospitality. Its historical and architectural heritage is abundant and exceptionally well-maintained.
Not to be missed are the numerous churches (10 in the historic center alone), which are richly adorned with frescoes, making Sant'Agata a gem of art and culture. Among them is the Cathedral, founded in 970, rebuilt in the 12th century, and restored between 1728 and 1755; and the Church of S. Menna, notable for its compact and harmonious structure with a raised presbytery and three short apses. Inside, a carpet of cosmatesque mosaics, one of the oldest in Southern Italy, rises to embrace the choir; the Bishop's Palace, located in the Cathedral square, is another significant monument worth visiting. Its Hall of Coats of Arms, featuring the emblems of 68 bishops, reflects the importance and role of the local diocese. Other rooms display memorabilia and artifacts related to the life and presence of Saint Alphonsus Liguori.
The historic center, built from tuff, offers a good range of services along with a wide variety of historically significant sites. The dining options are also excellent, featuring local specialties, and there are themed tourist itineraries available.
The town, surrounded by olive groves, vineyards, and fruit trees, is conveniently located for reaching other important tourist destinations such as Naples, Pompeii, Sorrento, Amalfi, Benevento, and Caserta. Just 10 km away are the Telese Thermal Baths, perfect for moments of relaxation and wellness.
